Update: Needed that antibiotic and placed on one by PMD. PMD agreed waste of a copay to have gone there.

A doctor saw me for about 5 mins, misdiagnosed both issues, prescribed two unnecessary prescriptions, both of which I purchased and took. After the medications didn't have any effect, I googled my symptoms and pretty quickly figured out both issues on my own in a short period of time. I received a bill for over $800 for a five minute appointment which led to two incorrect diagnoses and 2 useless prescriptions. When I inquired about a reduced bill, they refused and told me my treatment was "appropriate" (???). But prescribing medication for problems I don't have doesn't seem appropriate to me. Folks who work in the office are nice, and I was able to get seen the day I called in, but overall I wouldn't recommend Emurgent.

Today I asked to be tested for Covid and have my lungs listened to, etc. The physician's assistant not only refused to care for me, but was very hostile and stormed out of the room, leaving me on the examining table without any sort of check up. I am just trying to do the right thing for both my own health and public health during this pandemic and the complete lack of compassion, decency, or care was actually shocking at this facility. I have never been treated so horrible in a health care facility in my entire life. Do not go here! I would leave zero stars if I could but 1 is the minimum. To be fair, the nurse who took my vitals was fine, so the one star is for her.

They were competent and kind which softened the blow of waiting 45 minutes, despite having made an appointment, on a beautiful sunny afternoon. Unfortunately, Dr. Gulati was quite the opposite. I asked him to renew the script for the acyclovir cream that I use for cold sores and he said in a patronizing tone, "Why do you think that's going to help you?" I tried to reply that in my vast experience it *does* help me by shortening the life of the cold sore, but he cut me off to explain it was useless because the virus is internal so I need the pills (which is like hitting an ant with a hammer imho), thereby vetoing my request for a cream. But the research is in, the cream works. The next kick in the stomach was when I asked him if the pills would be helpful, even if the cold sore is a couple of days old. He smirked at me and took several seconds, inhaling deeply and letting out a long, condescending laugh. As that finally tapered off, he refreshed his smirk, looked at me with exasperation, as if I were incredibly stupid, and said, "How would I know that? I don't know how long it's going to last!" That wasn't even my question! It felt to me like deliberate cruelty, almost like a performance. He ignored me when I tried to respond, turned on his heel, and walked away shaking his head. Why does someone like that work in medicine? Does he treat men like that, too? Doesn't he know that people who come to him are suffering and already humbled? Apparently he doesn't care. It was so strange and dehumanizing that I called my sister to process it, to talk me down. Lo and behold, she told me a few years ago she had a very similar experience with Dr. Gulati. I write this review hoping that it might save someone a similar bewildering and upsetting experience. Patients beware: this man might make you feel really bad when you're just trying to feel better.

They took her food order, ignoring all of her restrictions, gave her food she couldn't eat. Then at 7pm she was very hungry. Someone said they'd get her a turkey sandwich, 2 hours later she finally gets someone's attention and they tell her the kitchen is closed. She can have one packet of saltines. We ended up having to order food to be delivered. They went through her stuff and treated her like a criminal for no reason. I called to tell them she needed help because they were ignoring her, they hung up on me. Awful hospital.

This is Kingstown Hospital in London, UK not in America…read more A total nightmare. We are visiting from the USA, waiting for 7 hours in a filthy, small, packaged, old, hot ER room with hundreds of patients waiting to be seen by ONE doctor from Africa (third world mentality) who didn't order any exams to a 18 year old patient with possible blood clots who got injured in his arm and had some symptoms of possible vain injury. Social free health care sucks. You get what you pay for (zero payment = zero treatment). American terrible health care system is way better and more effective than the english free system. Third world countries have better hospitals and treatments than the ones in the UK. Btw doctor from this hospital said young people like our son with not family history of blood clots can get one. She was totally wrong based on what ChatGP is saying. Who is right? pray our son is fine that's what matters. Won't Visit this horrible hospital with inept doctor.
