Our venue already came with a day of coordinator and our caterer had specific instructions for decor. However, we wanted to make sure that all those hours we spent getting everything just perfect for our wedding, actually turned out that way and not misinterpreted by something written down on a sheet of paper. We sat down with the Savvy Events team to review all of our décor before purchasing it all. Lisa and her team suggested some slight alterations to keep the theme consistent. After a couple of small changes we got all of our stuff in and completed all of our projects. We sat down with Savvy Events and all our other vendors for a final coordination meeting to be sure the timelines would work and that all the décor was going to be setup as expected in vast detail. Lisa even had to do some additional follow up with our DJ to make sure that everything went as expected. On the day of, all vendors knew not to bother anyone in the wedding party with any questions. All questions would be asked directly to Lisa and she would make any alterations to décor or timelines as she deemed fit. We could not have been in more capable hands! Our wedding day went fully stress free. Not a question was asked about what goes where or what we wanted to do about this or that. None of our parents had to lift a finger or be bothered with décor questions. Everything got setup correctly and all our guests enjoyed themselves immensely. My mother had done the heavy lifting by finding the venue, church, photographer and florist in advance, but couldn't spend anymore time planning so she hired Caplan Miller to complete the planning. They refused to negotiate their price and charged us the FULL PRICE they would have charged if we had hired them in the beginning. Once the contract was signed they didn't do a single thing for us until 3 weeks before the wedding! We hired them 6 months out and had a total of 3 meetings with them. I found out later Sarah was too busy traveling on vacation and planning her birthday party to focus on my wedding???. Not only that, but they totally flubbed the rehearsal day by not communicating to our ushers and grooms what time they needed to be at the church the day of the wedding for photos, and they neglected to inform one set of family members to stay for photos after the ceremony even though Caplan Miller stated they would do this for us. This is their job and they totally dropped the ball. Not only that, but they did not relieve any of the stress or burden on us, not until the very last minute. While I appreciate that they probably know how to throw a good party, I don't think they provide the same level of customer service for all their clients... I guess our budget wasn't big enough.

She recommended Cynthia's limo service and even recommended a source for a dance floor and coordinated getting that to the venue for set-up. Not only did Michelle come through professionally, I believe she went above and beyond and remained professional even though I was in such a fragile state. She never once rushed or stressed me. She also did an absolutely gorgeous job setting up the decor and coordinating with my other vendors. I highly recommend her!! By the other high reviews, I don't know how to interpret this, but when you spend crazy amounts of money on an event and you have your own planner working to sabotage you, it ends with the bride in tears and a lot of people leaving. We recently just celebrated my son's college graduation celebration and our printouts were so beautiful and very professional! This definitely surpassed our expectations on so many levels from the school colors, mascot logo to the announcement of my son- all was so perfect!
