Classes are dictated by a narrow curriculum; only a small number of aerial hoop moves are demonstrated and attendees are expected to come in outside of class hours to practice solo and at an added cost. I took two on-site classes, but I sadly learned very little. What I would recommend doing: buy your own hoop and check out YouTube. You'll get considerably more out of any time invested. The yogalates classes here are rarely full and they're not something I would take again. The instructor, Tina, can be unpleasant also. The women who go to this gym are typically heavyset. It's extremely uncomfortable if you weigh less than 115 lbs.

TJ is one of the most knowledgeable instructors I've ever met. I've been to various studios throughout the United States, but I was never consistent enough with studio training. Now that I am vaccinated I want to be more consistent with my training and get a strong technical foundation. I can tell from just one class with TJ, the difference in my understanding of pole and just how much better my body awareness was. Freestyle Fitness is the real deal and you really can't beat the professionalism, knowledge, and overall friendly atmosphere.

I gave them a hard time about this, but they seemed excited about it and they seemed to enjoy going every week. They also threw in a lesson with their package so that my dad and I could have a dance lesson to our song for the wedding. And I have to say, I was pretty impressed! We had a private lesson with their instructor and, while I am by no means now a professional ballroom dancer, I feel like we got the hang of it and it was pretty fun. Since future-husband happened to tag along, our instructor also talked us into taking one so that we wouldn't look ridiculous. I think we might need to practice a bit more, and knowing that we live out of town, our instructor even had us video him giving us suggestions on my phone!
