We were each on separate floors, and my sister was even in a separate (though connected) building. I've stayed at boutique hotels before but this one is super 'boutique' wherein no two rooms are the same. Not sure how I feel about that. The hotel is located on the second floor and in between two shoe stores but they sent directions beforehand, so it was pretty clear how to enter the building. Here is some of the good and bad: Pros: -Breakfast is included and it's a pretty decent selection. They even have eggs made to order, and the eggs are super fresh -Free coffee/tea 24/7 -Towel warmers in the bathroom Cons: -We were located on the 6th floor, but the elevator only goes up to the 5th floor. Meaning we had to lug our luggage up and down the stairs. The elevators are also super cramped so if you're claustrophobic, it's definitely not for you -I think the rooms on the lower floors have been renovated because our room looked super old. I'm almost certain there might have been a few murders that went down in our room back in the day, because it just gives that vibe. There's a semi-hidden extra single bed, and some locked half doors in the room. Since it was the top floor, half the room had the slanted ceiling because of the roof -Since ours was an older room, we didn't have a rainfall shower -HUGE dead roach on ground floor of the building, which isn't really the hotels fault but you know if you see one in the building, there is bound to be some in the hotel. Luckily, we didn't come across any other ones, dead or alive The rooms on the booking website looked fine. My family's rooms looked more in line with what we saw online. But I guess they don't really advertise the murder room. Overall, it was just not a comfortable stay. I couldn't wait to leave. At least everything was clean?

The room is classic design to renaissance look. I like the breakfast included in the hotel. Parking is free at outside. The palace hotel just across Queluz National Palace. This is their extension side of the palace. If you stay there, please be sure eat at their king kitchen. The meal selection can add entree with all you can eat dessert on King table. We love this deal. The table is set around the chimney of the kitchen. You can walk below chimney and look up the chimney. I would recommend the duck if you come to the king kitchen for dinner. The hotel breakfast is great. It has a lot of choices. You can look out your window to check if the palace already open to guess in the morning. So you will be the few first entry to the palace. I think this is ideal location to stay a night and visit the palace next morning.

Starting with Margarida with reservations, she was very engaging before we even arrived, to include ensuring our special requests were met. Antonio at the front desk was super friendly and welcoming... I swear it seemed like we met a long lost relative! He was accompanied by a female intern, but I forgot her name. She was super nice and gave us a tour of the hotel. The spa staff... again, super friendly and welcoming. Although the hotel is near the wonderful Cascais, IHG Cascais is a wonderful destination itself.

Do not rent from this company. We rented a beautiful…read moreapartment from AirBnB which was managed by FLH. The flat was on the top floor with a deck; there were construction workers that came INSIDE the apartment frightening a female in our party still in nightclothes, they also stuck hands through windows to plug in electrical power tools, they worked on the roof above us, dust and grout all over the deck making it unusable. We were there three nights, we experienced this on the second day and began taking with them that afternoon, let them speak with the laborers who said construction had been going on for four months. When we spoke with FLH at the end of the day they discussed options; we asked for $200 knocked off the $625 and no workers on our last full day; they refused and offered €100 (about $114). Here is their AirBnB response to us. "Feels Like Home Feels Like Home declined your request We are willing to refund as much as 100€, for the inconvenience of the deck. The construction works and noise are not the company's responsability so ultimately we cannot be held accountable for the fact that the building is being renovated." Horrible. This makes me want to pay nothing at all. We are working with AirBnB to have them removed from that platform.

We stayed over new years eve and it felt like we had the place all to ourselves, as there are only 3 rooms. The rooms are comfortable with very modern bathrooms (with large showers!!). The breakfast room feels like being in a private modern apartment. They serve continental breakfast and everything is fresh (no crappy orange juice that tastes like cardboard here, only freshly squeezed juice!). The staff is also very friendly and gave us all the info we needed, maps, discount vouchers etc. I strongly recommend this hotel if you're looking for a upmarket boutique B&B type of feel.

There's a small tunnel that our taxi driver swooped us down to and there we were in front of Memmo. A small hotel with a stunning view of Lisbon. The front desk, specifically Leonardo, was very helpful and Bruno brought our suitcases to us while acclimating us to the hotel and our lovely Superior Family Room. It was well equipped with everything we wanted plus a cute little dessert tray welcoming us. So happy I picked this place for our second time in Lisbon.

But the downstairs showers were perfectly fine, too. The rest is all positive: It was easy to be reached from lisbon airport (we took an uber, so it was even easier). The rooms are bright and newly furnished with IKEA beds and closets. There are three showers, two toilets and another two showers outside for a post-Surf shower. we were free to use the kitchen and barbecue. There is wi-fi that works great throughout the big house and you can rent surfboards too. There are two terraces on the first floor and a cosy terrace on the ground floor. Apart from the lovely place, the biggest yeah: it's only a three minute-walk to the beach! We didn't surf but a lot of people did and it was great watching, too. Wavespot is a great place to get-away and hang out!

Also it's near the train station if you plan to explore places a little further away. The staff was always super nice. They do old school Keys for their rooms, so you have to leave it with them every time you leave the hotel. The rooms were pretty spacious by European standards. The room had a bit of a humid feel and required opening the window up to air it out. No strong orders or anything, just a bit stuffy. The bed was comfortable. I'd skip the breakfast. It was pouring one of the days so we decided to wait for it to stop and had the breakfast. They told us we had an hour before it ended but we were welcome to join. Well, they were out of various pastries, cheeses and other items. It was pretty expensive for what we did actually eat, but at least we got some coffee, eggs and breads to start the day.
