I have to agree with the previous 2 reviewers. They're THIEVES. These guys will have your head spinning with their fast talk, misleading information, confusing scribbled numbers, and LIES! Their goal is to get you to pay MORE than MSRP for the new car - AND to steal your trade-in by giving you nothing for it in the total deal (and I mean NOTHING - zero dollars). They'll have you waiting around while "the manager works up a new offer". They'll try to wear you down by getting you mentally and physically tired. They'll make you think they're negotiating with you when all they're doing is moving numbers around on the page to confuse you. DO NOT do business with the sales dept. here. Will never take my care here again or buy one from them. Asked the service man how much they charge per hour and was told 115.00. That is on the high end of auto repair as it is. Had my car for 5 hours and charged 760.00 for labor. When I called and asked why I paid roughly 150/hour he said the book says it cost x amount for the work we did. I expect to pay for actual labor hours worked not for what a book says it should be. So I paid 175.00 for labor that wasn't actually worked and I bet It wasn't paid to the help because they are always hourly. So who profits from charging for hours not worked. Chances are it doesn't exist and they'll keep pretending to look for it "on the lot" while they're pushing other higher priced vehicles on you. So I went in a month ago and discussed a car the numbers were good but I said I had to think about it. I come back today and they started playing games quoting astrinomical terms and payments. I very rarely write negative reviews, I leave that job for negative people, I try to only write positive reviews but this place forced me to make an exception. They are SUPER pushy... I thought I was going to have to call for help so that they would let me leave the dealership. I went car hunting to get an idea of prices and was very clear I didn't want to buy a car that day but they wouldn't take no for an answer. They told me they needed my social security number for me to be able to take a test drive and then ran my credit without my permission. Very shady. This is the first negative review I have ever written and I don't like taking time out of my day to complain, but my experience with Empire Hyundai has been so frustrating that I wanted to make sure others were aware of what buying a car from them can be like. My wife and I purchased a 2017 Hyundai Elantra and were generally satisfied with the car and the price. The salesperson, Ricky, assured us that we should receive the title and registration within two to three weeks, but it has been more than four and we are still waiting. I understand that these things can take time, but if it exceeds the initial estimate significantly, some explanation is in order and they should not have to wait for us to initiate the conversation. Part of the reason that we opted to purchase our vehicle from Empire is that the sales staff made it sound like they would take care of all of the details and satisfy their obligations in a reasonable time frame. Instead, we have had to return to the dealership on several occasions and make at least a dozen phone calls just to sort out the initial paperwork. With all of that effort, we could have handled the plates and registration ourselves by now and saved on the nearly $500 documentation fee (though that option was not given to us when we purchased the vehicle). I am inclined to be forgiving about the process taking longer than expected as long as the dealership does their due diligence in trying to move forward and keep us in the loop, but in our case it has been like pulling teeth to get anything out of them. It took over three weeks for them to find the time to do a VIN check, and they have had no shortage of excuses for why they couldn't work on processing our registration on this or that day. We have still not even received our sales paperwork. Today, after trying repeatedly to contact them by phone, I eventually had to drive out to the dealership just to get someone to talk with me. Our temporary plates had expired at this point, so I asked if they would at least waive the nominal charge for a new set and was denied even this basic courtesy. When trying to sell us the car, Ricky told us that they would give us dealer plates while we waited for the registration to be processed, but after we completed the financing paperwork he decided that we should pay for temporary plates instead. The possibility that we would have to buy a second set was certainly never hinted at when we purchased the vehicle, partly on the basis of their assurance that it would be quick and effortless to finalize the transaction. Ricky and his colleagues were eager to do whatever it took to sell us a car, but as soon as we signed the papers it was as though we ceased to exist. If you are looking to purchase a car and anticipate having to have any subsequent interactions with the sales staff, I would recommend finding a dealership that places more value on the customer's experience and makes a priority out of completing their end of the transaction once the purchase is complete. We will certainly not consider Empire Hyundai for any of our future car needs. read more

The initial problems began when Empire quoted me a price for the new car IN WRITING and then tried to raise the price by $1,000. Assistant Sales Manager, Paul McCarthy, stated he WOULD NOT honor the written quoted price of the car. The internet sales office said (Brandy or Casey) said Empire has given appraised trade-ins over the phone in the past. Assistant Manager, Paul, gave promise over the phone of $10,000 for trade, then denied it once I drove over 400 miles to get there. Salesman, without my permission or knowledge, went to my car, rifled through my personal documents covering my written car quote, and brought the quote to me at his desk--total invasion of privacy. Withheld my keys from me, after I asked several times for them, so that I could not leave, essentially holding me hostage. General Manager, Joe, literally bellowing at me and berating me in front of Empire employees and customers; and Joe arrogantly announcing to everyone in the showroom that he deletes negative reviews on their web page--witnessed and irrefutable. The integrity their web page refers to was absent in the dealings they had with me that day and was again mirrored in their response to my Better Business Bureau review. This was all a direct reflection of the owner's business policies. I wonder if it was a reflection of my status as a senior citizen, female, and veteran or is it how consumers as a whole are treated by them. read more

This place was awful. When I walked in they had me wait 20 minutes for someone. I had made an appointment! Then they come in and won't answer my questions. Want me to test drive but won't give me prices for the car or my trade in value. I tell them what another dealer offered me for my car and they say that they will offer me 19k if I buy with them. I test drive a Tuscan and it was nice. I get back and all of a sudden then can only offer me 12k for my car. I wasted over an hour there. I will never go back. They are awful people. read more

Extremely unsatisfied from A-Z. Everything is a scam with this place I will never go through them for a car in the future. I also never recommend anybody I know to go there. I bought a car that looked great and was told the minor things wrong with it would be fixed the following week. I have these spots that are stuck on to my car and scuff marks all over my back bumper which clearly were there when I bought it but some how covered up. The "detailers" left half of the sap or whatever it may be stuck on my car and the ones that they tried to buff out had the paint come off along with it. Not one of the interior stains were taken care of after sitting in there for 3+hours not sure what they even did to fix it. Brought it back for a second time and I'm being told that some of them can't come off but I'll be "happy". I got my car not inspected which I've never heard of from a car dealership. I also haven't received my registration 3 weeks later! And then today to top off my horrible buying experience I got my old car payment deducted from my banking account so apparently they have not paid off the car I traded in either. Every single time I get told somebody will call me back surprise I don't get called back. It's currently getting serviced and I haven't even gotten a call to see how it's going. We bargained and agreed on a price, and then they went in the back room, and when they brought out the paperwork it showed my monthly payments - but not the agreed upon price. I trusted them to be decent and honest, so I didn't demand to see all of the math. Which, OK, it was stupid of me. But still: they intentionally cheated me! There is no way it was just an accident. I bought two cars from Empire Hyundai. Twice they treated me and my wife like we were the help. If you don't have A+ credit with a huge down payment and buying one of their high end vehicles. they will treat you like a third toe. We had a hard time financing the vehicle. If it wasn't because I reached out to the financial institution we would not have gotten the car. The only thing they did was fill out the application and send it in. We had to do all the foot work. When I called them they either put me on hold, or say the finance manager was unavailable. They have not registered the vehicle until the bank forced their hand about not giving me the vehicle and because I called that and told them I wanted to back out and wanted my down payment back if they wasn't going to give me the car. They didn't follow up with me on my purchase. When they finally called us to pick up the vehicle It wasn't ready and once again we had to wait. I got the call that morning and the sales person told me to pick up the vehicle because the bank got on them for not giving the car to us. When we got there at 4 PM, the car still wasn't ready, and we were told to come back because they have to put the plates on it and detail the vehicle and that they were busy. When we got the vehicle it was dusty inside and out. I drove by that day and the lobby was dead. I won't go back even to service my vehicle. They made us feel like we were beneath them. I owned three Hyundai cars they all been great cars with an excellent warranties. If you are in the market for a brand new Hyundai there are 3 dealerships within 35 miles of Fall River. What's funny is their license plate cover says" Experience the Difference" that is so true their unique that's for sure. read more

I bought a car from this dealership two years ago and have had nothing but problems with the car. The car purchase was brand new and I paid way too much for it!! Within six months of purchase, the car was in for service repeatedly for transmission issues/replacements. I argued that the car was obviously a "lemon" as it is NOT common for a new vehicle with under 14,000 miles to be replacing a transmission. To sum up this nightmare, I am basically "Stuck" with this vehicle as the trade in value has decreased due to the repeated service records (multiple transmissions replaced). I would NOT recommend this dealership to ANYONE!!! They suck you in....and make every deal possible to get you in that car, but the unprofessionalism and commitment to the customer afterwards is horrible. read more

I went to Empire Hyundai with my boyfriend. I was the one looking to buy a car. I had been working with someone from their Internet Sales department but when I got there another salesman approached us and even though I asked to see the other person, he ignored that and started asking me what I was looking for. Before I could even look at what they had in inventory, my personal information was taken and a credit check was being run. I was feeling pressured to already come up with more money for a down payment than I planned and I hadn't even test drove anything. I did my home work before I walked into the dealership, I knew what car and what packages I wanted and what the MSRP was for that car. The salesman I was talking to knew less about the car than I did. My boyfriend who had worked for dealerships in the past almost immediately had a bad feeling. When I complained that I'm feeling pressured to talk financing for a car I hadn't even seen much less drove, we finally got a test drive. It was a very short drive and only on local streets even after I mentioned I drive highway 95% of the time. After the test drive he started pushing me on my trade-in. There are signs around the dealership and on their website stating at least $5000 for your trade-in. When we sat down to talk financing they came back with $6000 for my trade-in but the price was over $4,000 more than the sticker price. I pointed that out and the salesman checked the sticker then said he needs to talk to someone. We waited another 10 minutes, at this point we have been there 90 minutes. He came back with a new trade-in value of $3000 and a monthly payment $250 more than I told him I could afford. At this point I noted he was talking to my boyfriend, not to me. I'm the one buying the car, not him. Sensing my frustration my boyfriend took the lead and acted as my spokesman since everything I was saying wasn't being heard. The finance manager came over and we started talking about what we could do to lower the price. I was willing to give on a few extras but was firm on certain items. This guy made it seem like he was doing me a favor by even giving me a loan and that I should be happy taking the base model car that had none of the features I told them I needed. He also said "You don't want to risk anyone else running your credit, that dings your credit every time" At this point I asked for my keys and registration back for my car. The salesman went to get them but took 10 minutes then came back and tried again to pitch me a car that did not meet my needs and they didn't have one that would on their lot. This time the boyfriend had to tell them that we want the keys and registration back. Once again this simple request took 10 minutes. When we finally got out of there I felt horrible. I went in there knowing I didn't have great credit. I have a foreclosure and divorce both harmed me and I know that. I did not want to have to correct a salesman on the price of the cars he's trying to sell me. I did not want a finance guy making me feel like I should be lucky anyone would even sell me a car. And I did not want every one of my questions and concerns to have to be filter through my boyfriend in order to be heard. This experience has soured me on this dealership greatly and I'm not sure I want to even look at Hyundai anymore. I have bought 3 other cars in the past, never have I had to deal with stereotypical car salesman mentality before. It's 2012, people don't respond to those sleazy tactics anymore and we have the internet to voice our opinion. read more

I have received perhaps the worst combined customer experience I've ever had the displeasure of experiencing. Between the dealership giving me back a car that was many times worse than it was when I brought it in for a litany of issues, charging me for two diagnostics, as I brought it in to see what was wrong after the recalls, they Empire Hyundai​) now absolve themselves of any blame, and when brought to Hyundai​ to resolve the issue, the PA issued was rejected, and I was told it's final, no where else to go, nothing else to do. Done, Sorry, you're out of luck, despite your issues being well documented issues known in your make and model. So, alright, America's Best Warranty? "#ThisisLoyalty" Campaign, Show me some loyalty. Show a customer who has loved the car save these obvious issues, some loyalty. Mastria Mazda​, show me that the salesman who sold me the used car, and told me the warranty transferred over in full wasn't just some schmuck trying to make a commission. Can anyone at Hyundai pick up the obviously dropped ball, and make a customer happy? For their 'Loyalty'. Because this sour experience is making me wish I'd never even considered a Hyundai, and gone to another competitor who would treat me like a loyal customer. The car is barely a year in my care, and the fact I'm having this many issues with the Starter, the Transmission Switch, and recalls that were apparently 'fixed' is just outright unacceptable. I should have walked away when after the test drive they added $2000 to the sticker price " because it's a hot car right now" I refused obviously. Once we settled on a price I told them that I was pre approved by my bank and wanted to go with them. All the paperwork was done and it was with another bank. I was told " just make three payments, then refinance" I can honestly say that I would rather have a colonoscopy without anesthesia than ever buy a car there again. read more

Just around this time last year Pam, Dean and I stopped in to Empire Hyundai to check out a used car I had found on the internet after much research. Anticipating negotiating a lower price, we presented the salesman with a fair bid we thought the car was worth and were stunned when the salesman added over $3,000 (repairs the dealership had made to the car) to the list price of the car. (Isn't that going in the wrong direction!) After haggling with the salesman for awhile we were ready to leave when he brought the manager onto the scene. Hoping for a reasonable resolution we agreed to discuss the selling price with the manager. The appearance of the manager just made matters worse, there was no reasoning with these people. So we got up and left. They actually followed us into the parking lot trying to get us to go back into the dealership, everyone was watching us. I turned and asked what was their final figure. They offered to sell the vehicle for $500 over our bid amount; I agreed. I didn't want to lose the car over $500. Afterwards I received a printout of what the $3,000 covered. One of the repairs were new front brakes. The whole experience was awful, what should have been an exciting venture turned into a nightmare. If Pam and Dean had not been there, I would not have my car today, I'm not good at haggling over prices. I couldn't afford the price they now were asking so I would have left without a car. The dealership included two free oil changes and tire rotations with the purchase. In December I took advantage of one of the free oil changes. Afterwards I was presented with an invoice for the work performed and a recommendation to have my rear brake pads replaced, because they were less than 3mm thick, at a cost of $369.00. Now I had only gone around 4,000 miles, more or less and I already needed new brakes. I told the mechanic I couldn't afford new brakes at this time. An appointment was made for me to return on May 18 for my second free oil change. During this period of time I only put on less than 1,000 miles. So we are talking around 5,000 miles I put on my car since I purchased it. On May 18 I brought my car in to Empire Hyundai and told the girl I had a 2:30 appointment to have my oil changed and a tire rotation. I explained my brake problem to her and requested to speak to a manager. I gave her my car keys and she pointed me to a manager in the sales department. I explained that the dealership had replaced the front brakes but neglected to replace the rear brakes when they clearly needed to be changed. I stressed that in no way could I be responsible for wearing down the brakes by driving under 5,000 miles. He understood (tongue in cheek) my situation and would speak to the service manager. After having me wait for over a half hour he returned and offered me $50 off the repair cost of $369 and was dismissed to the waiting room while my car was being serviced. People came and went and I sat patiently waiting. At around 5:00 I went to the desk and inquired about how long did it take to rotate tires and change the oil. The service manager said he could not locate me on the system when the girl turned around and said she had not entered me in the system. She thought I went home after speaking with the sales manager. I was so surprised by her statement that I yelled "you didn't enter me into the system" "How could I have gone home, you had my keys". The manager apologized and said he would have my car worked on immediately and offered to have it washed. I returned to the waiting room which faced the service desk. How could they not have seen me sitting there all those hours and not question why? The whole wall was glass not five feet from the desk. The service manager came into the waiting room and again apologized and offered excuses for the girl's error. I explained she fully knew why I went to speak to the manager and that I had a 2:30 appointment and had my keys. He explained through visual aids how low my brakes were and blamed me for stop and go driving. "No, no, no, I live in the country, not the city." The brakes were low when they sold me the car. So he said well the dealership has to weigh fixing the brakes and their bottom line. He said, "it was a used car, after all, and even new cars need maintenance". So they sold me a car that needed brakes!!! The brakes went from 3mm to 1mm with under 1,000 miles driving. My question to my fellow FBers is, am I being unreasonable, or was the dealership in the wrong. I feel they should have made good on the rear brakes and repaired them free of charge. read more

AVOID THESE PEOPLE AT ALL COSTS!!!! I went here in 2009 trying to get a used car the sales person refused to show me the car I wanted to look at and put me in for a test drive on a vehicle I wouldn't have put my worst enemy in! fast forward 5 years later my husband went looking for a new car. He saw one on the website that was within his price range he spent the next few days calling and emailing people letting them know his conditions and that he wouldn't come in if they could not be met since he didn't need to trade in his car he just wanted to. When he went there he found out the car had been sold the weekend BEFORE any of the conversations had started but yet no one had any idea (including the internet sales LEAD!!!) The salesmen was good he was able to get him into another car that he liked just as much as the one he saw online HOWEVER... the car has had to go back to the dealership not once, not twice but going on THREE TIMES now for issues. the first issue was a windshield wiper and speaker not working correctly. the second time (not even two weeks after the car was purchased) was for the bumper falling off... it was epoxied at time of sale (I think they were hoping it would hold for 30 days yea it didn't) and was falling off the car.. causing a safety hazard. He brought the car back they "fixed" it and now two weeks later we are having the same issue. Management is "working on it" but we'll see if anything gets done. OH and make sure you stay on them about sending your payoff they only sent the payoff after I called and screamed because my husband was approaching a marker on his credit did they send his payoff in. If we hadn't watched that he would have been in deep trouble not only with the other loan company but with his credit as well read more

I had the worst experience at Empire Hyundai, and I would urge anyone and anyone to avoid that palce like the plague. I was going to buy a 2016 Sonata, it was a Dealer demo, but while test driving it, I noticed it had a scratch on the back bumper. We worked out a deal and they agreed to get it touched up and detailed, this was a Sunday. Tuesday comes along and they call me that it is all set, to come in and sign the paperwork. I get there, and they bring me into the finance office to sign the paperwork, only no car, it's still at the shop. So I say that I won't sign until I see the car. The head finance Jerk Joe Carvalho calls me after I left and says if I don't get back there right now and sign, he was going to sell he car to someone else, lol, like that is supposed to scare me. That car had scratches and had over 3000 miles on it, go to hell Joe, you and your dealership can kiss you know what! Just so you know, your mouth cost you a sale. I went that same day to pride Hyundai in Seekonk and bought a 2016 Sonata Sport with 40 miles, and no scratches. They were way more professional, and they paid off my whole trade, not like you scum bags who low balled me. I hope you go out of business! Seriously people, go anywhere other than here. read more

AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL. My boyfriend bought a Genesis from Empire Hyundai in September 2014. Well little to his surprise he put 20,000 miles on the car & check engine light comes on. Empire Hyundai checked it out & said nothing was wrong so they reset it. Drive it home it comes back on obviously. Call them we take it back they said it was the oil pressure valve. Okay they try getting us to pay $600 to fix it. We go somewhere else the engine is all messed up. They tell us only Hyundai can fix it. Now we can't get the car inspected because we have to fix the engine. My boyfriend ended up looking through his warranty & he got told there all invalid because Empire Hyundai didn't write when they expire. Then they ended up scheduling an oil change for my boyfriend without his knowledge. They have been calling him everyday for the last 2 weeks to go in for an oil change. Now my experience with them. I go in looking for a Hyundai Accent. I get told I can't afford a $14,000 car but they have a smart car that the guy is in the middle of trading in right now. I told them I DID NOT want a smart car. After arguing back & forth with James the car sales man for 2 hours he finally allowed me to test drive the Accent. I said I want this car. But my mom will be the cosigner & she wasn't with me. He told me that's okay we can call her on the phone get her information than you can sign her name on her application. I told him no. He threw the biggest temper tantrum because I would not forge my mothers signature & I told him you are not going to call her to get her personal information & she won't give it to you anyways. After arguing back & forth & spending 5 hours with the WORST sales man at the WORST car dealership EVER. We left. Than they emailed me & called me everyday for a month. I reported there emails as spam. I blocked every number they called me on. They were calling me from different numbers. I do not recommend anyone coming here to buy a car or get a car serviced. I went here to buy a car advertised in the paper. I brought my checkbook and was ready to write them a price. They would not honor the price and then when i asked to see the car they gave me the old "it's already been sold". Then a friend of mine went to buy a car, after I told her it was a bad idea. They gave her the big pressure sale, she called me during it and I told her to walk out...she didn't, she bought the car and it had been in an accident, a bad accident. The frame had been damaged but since it did not get repaired with an insurance payment it didn't show up on carfax. The dealership had fixed it themselves. They knew about the damage but didn't feel they had to disclose. This place is terrible. Just run as fast as you can from this place. Absolute skunks. read more

I asked them to sell me the car instead. The sales person came back and tripled my payment stating it was because the car was now used. I no longer had my trade and I have to pay off the lease. I told him and what about your 30 day guarantee. He told me he could put me in another car if I just leave that one there and stop paying on it. Like a lot of other reviewers my experience was not a pleasant one. Their "True Car" price was lowest but after trying to sell me other vehicles that i did not choose or want I was told they wouldn't honor their True Car. Then came the joke of the $800 offer for my car that trade in books for over 3K. After wasting my morning and listening to a rude sales manager telling me I am afraid to negotiate I went to Route 44 Hyundai and was treated with respect and received a fantastic deal. Horrors in Car Buying at Empire Hyundai, Inc. Saturday, August 13th, I purchased a 2016 New Hyundai Tuscan Sport from Empire Hyundai, Inc. in the Fall River, MA branch. The vehicle had 19 miles. I did a lot of research on this car, dealing with Kasey Mathias, the internet manager of Empire Hyundai. We had a very lengthy phone call and email conversation, where she gave us the final price, everything included. My husband and I wanted the purchase to be hassle-free, considering the drive to pick up the car was 40 miles from my house round-trip. We asked Kasey to start the paperwork for us, which she gladly said yes to. She assigned us to the sales person Rob Collins, who then brought us to Tyler Torres, the vice president and financial manager to get all the paperwork signed. Within 20 minutes we were able to see the vehicle. However, before we looked inside, Rob Collins informed us that there were three cigarette burns on the passenger seat, but reassured us that it would be fixed and that they would provide us with a rental car at no cost to us while they do so. My husband and I left after, and on that Monday morning I called and asked if the rental car was ready because I had to work that afternoon. When I arrived, Rob greeted me and brought me to the receptionist, who said there was no reservation for a rental car for me, so she called to get one. About fifteen minutes later, Kevin Lafferty from Enterprise came to pick me up and bring me to their branch to get the rental. It was not brought to me. Kevin apologized that they did not have a reservation for me for a rental. The only car available due to the lack of reservation was a 7-passenger Grand Caravan. Three days passed and I did not receive any calls to inform me of the progress of my vehicle. I called once with no answer. I called once more and asked to speak to the owner, but he was not in that day. I then asked to speak to the vice president Tyler Torres, the son of the owner. He told me he did not know anything about the progress of my vehicle because he works for the financial department. I demanded he do something, considering he was the vice president of the company. He then transferred me to Rob, who informed me that the car was not ready yet because they had to purchase a whole new seat, and the workers had to install it. I told him I was getting impatient and displeased, considering I was forced into driving around a huge caravan, and told him if I did not get more answers on the progress of my car by 4 pm, I would consider returning the vehicle altogether. By 4:30, Rob called and said that the vehicle was ready to come pick up. I got there and looked at the car, and it was filthy, both outside and inside. I told him that the least they could have done was to wash the car after all my troubles. He told me to sit inside and wait, as he was dealing with other customers. I waited for about a half hour before I spoke to anyone else. No one would come speak with me, especially the manager, Paul McCarthy, who I had asked for. Finally, the lease specialist, Donald Devlin, came over to me and asked if I would be happy if they cleaned the car and put gas in the tank. I thought it was quite unprofessional that that was all the could do for me after the trouble I'd gone through. As I was about to leave, I asked them why the manager, Paul, was not on that night, and they informed me that he in fact was the entire time, and he did not bother to come speak to me the whole time I was waiting to talk with someone. They got Paul to come speak with me, and he offered to install a remote starter. They also said they would put covers on the front two seats. When I got the car back again, the seat covers were still in the process of being shipped, and the remote starter was not working correctly. It started by itself five times in one day in fact. Therefore, I have to bring the car to the shop to get that fixed, while still waiting for the seat covers, and on top of all of that, there is a hole in the flooring below the passenger seat; a flap that looks as though it should have been glued down. Needless to say, I had an awful experience at the Empire Hyundai car dealership and would not recommend anyone to buy a car there, especially at the Fall River branch. These situations should not be occurring when you're involving the purchase of a $31,000 vehicle, a brand new one at that. My boss, the Operations Director at 99 Restaurants, also shared with me a similar, awful experience he had had at Empire Hyundai. I hope that this will bring attention to this dealership, warning others to steer clear and pursue other dealerships when purchasing a car, and hopefully enhance the performance of the way this business is run. The most unprofessional business I have ever encountered. They constantly complain about being "too busy" when they aren't busy at all. They will promise you a deal, send you off with a car before signing papers, have you come back in after two days and tell you a different deal. They wasted my time for three days promising a deal, tried to get me to sign a deal before telling me numbers. They're slimy and shady. I don't recommend this dealership at all. They hide money in your deal and then when you catch them in a lie they go and try to change the numbers. Again the most unprofessional setting and dealership I've ever encountered. read more

We have called numerous time, have left messages with certain people and to our supreme surprise after waiting over 3 days "NO ONE HAS RETURNED OUR CALLS" ! If I could give them more stars, I would. I have had some terrible, horrific, horrible experiences with car dealerships in the past. I was nervous about going to another dealership, but I needed a car, and fast. Empire Hyundai was highly recommended to me so I gave them a try.. I am SO GLAD I went to Empire Hyundai. The sales assistance and customer service was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and professional. They practically stood on their heads and bent over backwards to put together a deal that I could work with. I really like my zippy little 2008 Hyundai Elantra. It is nicely maneuverable yet is quite spacious and comfortable inside. And....the price was right. I cannot say THANK YOU enough to Rick Torres and the other great people who helped me at Empire Hyundai. You have restored my faith. Here is a dealership you can trust. If I could give them negative stars I would, of all the sleazy dealerships out there this is one of the worst. Lied to our faces about the kelly blue book value of our trade-in and ran our credit after we told them not to. There is a reason this dealership has had their Better Business Bureau accreditation revoked!!! Be careful of this place, they look like a new car dealership but act like the used-car dealerships of old, don't know how they stay in business, can't be from repeat business. read more
