Excellent customer service. I had initially considered converting to a heat pump for efficiency…read more Eric came, assessed our situation, and offered a few options. We came to the conclusion that upgrading wouldn't be worth it. A heat pump would require a new electrical panel, there were no incentives as I'm propane & not electric, and the duct work is not set up for AC. I wasn't pressured or upsold to a system that would be of no benefit to me but would have made them a tidy profit. We did however, decide that my 25 year old furnace was on it's last legs & needed to be replaced. An appropriate sized unit was chosen. The installers arrived on Monday and finished it in one day. There was a glitch in the exhaust plumbing that was discovered a few days later. I called and since it was late in the day, said that tomorrow would be OK. A technician was there in an hour. He called the office and told them it would take a couple of hours to fix. Once again, I said tomorrow would be OK as we have wood heat too. He got it all fixed then had to run off to another call. The thermostat wasn't working right and they sent someone all the way out to reprogram it. I couldn't ask for better service. Maybe I could have gotten a better price, I didn't check but for what they've done it was worth what I paid. Good solid company after the sale.

We just had Bill the plumber come and fix our jacuzzi tub faucets which were not turning off easily…read more- the old faucets were stripped and misaligned . Another company (MP Plumbing) came twice and said they would have to do a major (costly) repair and that access was an issue. Bill came quickly and gave us a very reasonable estimate, and found the access easily. He told us what to buy and gave us input on our choices. He came back quickly and installed them efficiently. He had to get some more parts but then came back early the next day. We are so excited to have this working again, and so impressed with the efficiency, care, and helpful hints that he provided. We have used this company before for a microwave repair and some gas stove issues. I'm sure we'll see them again - and extremely happy with their staff, efficiency, care and knowledge! Thank you Bill!

Highly recommend them.

(In fact quite the opposite as they were very understanding and empathetic!) When we finally had someone over to service our system for the first time he was very punctual, informative, and courteous, honored our coupon, and did a great job! He answered all our many questions, was very detailed, and even followed up with an email suggesting a product we could install ourselves after discussing our request with the owner. He then went above and beyond but I don't want to be specific because I wouldn't want anyone to expect that level of service every single time - I certainly didn't expect it! (It was a great value as we had the HVAC/AC serviced and a new thermostat installed.)

Our AC started working again before they arrived, but we kept the appointment as they also offer checkups on HVAC systems. If it went out once, it could go out again, right? Thomas showed up on time, was courteous, didn't leave a mess going up into our attic, and gave us good information about the condition of our system and what we might need to look into replacing at some point down the road. When that day comes, we will definitely be giving Elevate a call!

It was determined and expected that my 24 year old ac system needed replacement . The furnace was older by 14 years. Keith called for their estimator, Joel to come to our home. Lucky for us, Joel was nearby and available in less than 30 minutes. Joel was very thorough in explaining options and systems that complimented our usage and needs. We picked the ideal choice for our needs and scheduled our furnace/ac system replacement. Due to inventory issues we were going to have to wait 5 days before the planned time. The terrific staff at Best Owner Direct HVAC & Electrical were able to locate a system from another distributor and scheduled the installation for Thursday. The over 100°f day. That evening we were able to sit in our home with a comfortable environment. Thanks to everyone for a speedy response and installation! Highly recommended! Hard to believe, but he spoke harshly and hung up on me when I asked why there was an additional $99 charge. I even said I was not refusing the payment; I just wanted an explanation. That said, Morgan, the technician that reset the button (literally all needed), was lovely, thorough, and pleasant. My system is old and will need to be replaced; however, Steve got his wish - I paid the additional $99 and will never do business with Earthwise again, and I hope you will not either. Rude behavior is the last thing a customer should expect, especially from the owner. Note: Steve could have fixed this with a callback, a simple explanation, or an apology for his rude comments and hang-up. One can hope he may read this review and do better in the future. .

The garage is cool and the rest of the house is hot, especially upstairs. I noticed a two inch gap around a cover . I called Earthwise to have them fix it. My first call was May 18. They didn't call back. Two more calls in the next week got me the reply of "We are busy". They need to make this good by getting the correct part or fabricating one. The AC unit was well over $3000. I have made a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

I almost fell for this trick. But as he pressed me to make an appointment, he asked me what kind of a/c unit I have, which is an odd question for someone who has worked on our equipment previously. I then asked him directly, "Have I done business with you before?" No response. So I asked again. No response. It turns out, I have no record of doing business with Conrad Heating & Cooling, because we have never done business with this company! I told him I would not be scheduling anything with Conrad. This representative didn't even know what type of unit we have, confirming there was no prior relationship. The familiar tone of the initial text was a deliberate tactic to create a false sense of trust. And I find that very offensive! I'd encourage other homeowners, especially seniors who are frequently targeted by this kind of approach, to read unsolicited texts carefully. If a company implies they've worked with you before, ask specific questions before agreeing to anything. In this case, the deception became obvious very quickly.
