We were served complimentary boiled peanuts in the shell, and these were simply addicting!
I thought it was a bit strange that there was no steak on the menu, given that we are in Brazil, but I learned this place specializes in Northeastern Brazilian cuisine, so perhaps steak is not so common in that particular region.
Since I know I wanted to try authentic coconut shrimp soup, I decided to order that. This dish came with coconut rice and farro (a yellow, fine grainy substance, which was pretty tasty when mixed with the rice and soup.) In the soup, there were a ton of shrimp, which were delightfully tender, and succulent. The soup was full of flavor with plenty of yummy seasoning. The rice was nice and fluffy, but didn't have much coconut taste.
I was able to try a bit of one of the nutty tapioca desserts. It was really unique with a chewy consistency, sweet, as well as light. There was a mouthwatering caramely sauce accompanying it.
Service was wonderful throughout. We were well taken care of during our meal.
