I have to give them a great review. Every time I needed them, I found myself in good care,…read moreespecially when I came down with COVID-19; they helped, answered all my questions, and got me through it. What's more, they are the easiest to make an appointment with and always get me in quickly, which is a huge relief during stressful times.

I wish I could recommend Peninsula Community Health Services, but we had very negative experiences…read morewith them. I respect and admire their mission to provide medical assistance to all of Kitsap without regards to ability to pay, but the execution is very poor. We have private health insurance and took our entire family there to support the clinic's mission. Unfortunately, the way they treat and interact with their clients has driven us away. The online messaging system to communicate with their staff is frustrating. Requests are ignored or dismissed out of hand, and you can waste days at a time going back and forth to get an answer on even the simplest of questions. The phone system is even worse. I regularly had to wait on hold for 30 minutes to speak with someone in person. The medical care we received from the ARNP working in the Kingston clinic was rushed and perfunctory at best. What is the point of going in for an appointment if you can't get your questions answered or your concerns addressed because the staff are racing out the door? Also we found one of their PAs to be pretty condescending. Finally, this place is disrespectful of patients' time. There is always a wait to be seen here. And when I went in for my first physical with them, I was not informed in advance that I should fast for blood work, and was instead instructed to return another day for lab tests. Who can keep taking off work to make multiple unnecessary trips to the doctor ? All in all, I'm glad we gave them a try as they fill an important need in our community. However, we will absolutely not be back and we are switching our entire family to other doctors.

I was able to add my sweet new family member back in August thanks to Homeward…read more The people are truly all so nice and the facility is extremely clean. They have put a lot of thought into providing the best care for dogs; music in the kennel room, private rooms for dogs that need them, prioritizing special needs dogs getting into foster homes and out of the kennel environment They even go above and beyond by spending time training dogs and puppies in their agility room. Their social media pages follow a few of the same dogs which just shows the dedication the members at Homeward have to maximizing the amount of people to see their adoptable pups. The quality and the passion truly show at Homeward. I am grateful for my dog and the people that took such good care of him at Homeward when he was there.

I've been to several shelters in the past year to adopt and it's been up and down. I went here on a Saturday after work and brought home my fur ever baby girl. I'm a proud happy fur mom . This is the happiest day of my life . I cried so many tears of joy when I was able to adopt my new female dog. I named her Sasha. Previously known as Oldsmobile. Sasha is the absolute sweetest girl ever. Sasha is what my heart needed. As a puppy she is very smart. Introducing to crate has been fairly well. Eating wow this girl can eat, run, do sprints around the house, yard and is super excited. I am too lol. Potty training is going very well in the morning she wakes me up with kisses to say she has to go and stands by door we go out. We have a routine. Totally recommend Homeward Per adoption to everyone. You will never be disappointed. The accept donations from you if your pet has passed away, been surrendered or you just want to donate, food, toys, supplies for dogs and cats. Well, I could continue to give praises all day. Gotta go mommy duty is calling.

However, I have some serious reservations about their handling of money and their customer service. I sent them a large donation a couple of months ago. Over a month later, it still had not been cashed. I called and no one answered so I had to leave a message. I left the message with their Finance and Operations Manager. I waited a week and still hadn't received a reply. I decided to put a stop on the check. Now, over a month after I left the message, still no reply. You would think a nonprofit would reply and try to get to the bottom of the problem if they were told a multi-thousand dollar check was sent to them and hadn't been cashed.

We work in collaboration with local governments, tribes, landowners, and community groups, providing the tools and expertise to preserve the special landscapes in the Great Peninsula region of Kitsap, north Mason, and west Pierce counties. We commit to caring for the lands we protect to ensure wildlife and people enjoy the many benefits of nature well into the future, and we enrich lives by offering opportunities for people to experience the natural world up close. The mission of GPC is to protect forever the natural habitats, rural landscapes, and open spaces of the Great Peninsula of Washington’s Puget Sound. We do this by creating nature preserves, partnering with public agencies to create local parks, and by placing conservation easements on private land that help sustain family farms and forests through generations. Each year, GPC’s nature walks, youth education programs, and land stewardship activities get hundreds of people out on protected lands with the goal of fostering an enduring land conservation ethic among people of all ages. Our work is made possible by generous contributions from individuals, foundations, and the passion of local landowners to protect their land.
