The therapist I was assigned to, Karen Decher, was frequently abusive, carelessly unethical, and condescending to the point where I needed to leave the practice for the sake of my mental welfare. Prior to this, I had 3 1/2 years of unwavering stability and absolute peace with the management of my disorder, thanks to the intelligent and proactive treatment team I had been working with inpatient before this nightmare began. This was unimaginable. Despite her threats, I finally did get myself out of there, and the whole operation is so corrupt at Rockland Psychiatric Center, that they blocked my every attempt to file a complaint with risk management, even calling the police to say I was harassing them. Again, never in my entire life, and I am sure never again, will I come across such egregious misconduct, Worst of all, not one of them was remotely interested in their own ethics nor integrity, which was contingent on protecting the rights of the vulnerable population entrusted under their care.

I was informed that my therapist was leaving early December in the middle of November. Because I was going once a month and my next scheduled appointment was after my therapist left, I found out that my last session was as such just before it ended. I don't blame my therapist. I noticed things going downhill in the office when the front desk ladies kept leaving. The last one there that I encountered seemed frazzled and frustrated. It took a few weeks to find another therapist for me. She told me they are hiring new people . That tells me a lot of therapists left and they need replacing bc based off what I heard on phone conversations in the past, booking with a new therapist wasn't as difficult as it currently is. They have. A 3 month waiting list! The thing that really got me was 2 days prior to the New Year, they informed me they are no longer accepting my insurance. When I called to cancel future appointments with my new therapist ( wasn't fond of her. She is too hyper for my personal Preference. I have been in therapy longer than she has been practicing) they told me that the insurances companies informed them last minute. I call Bs. I suspect they knew a lot sooner. The owner who is also a therapist, really needs to figure it out because I see things sliding downhill really fast. You have a ton of upset clients . You should have kept clients coming back at a sliding scale for the month of January to allow for the transition. I'm lucky I am not in dire need of therapy, but shame on you for allowing clients to be without a therapist now. I see a bunch of positive reviews with the owners last name, Soto-hmmm . Also, the only other review on here is the owners wife! Lmao . Seems he got the family to pump up the reviews for the company. Shame on your Bavoy.

She never pushed anything on us, she was fair and open and loving. She is also one of those people you feel an immediate kinship with because she is a beautiful soul. My fiancé and I are spiritual but not religious, and we searched for someone who understood and respected this. Lynne was exactly this person. She incorporated special requests into the ceremony and suggested some things that were so wonderful. Finally, she left us with a complete transcript of the ceremony for us to cherish forever and a beautiful hand painted spirit rock that will be a constant reminder of this incredible day. Our ceremony was my favorite part of our entire wedding because it was filled with so much light and love thanks to Lynne. Guests came up to me afterwards to say that they had never seen such a beautiful ceremony and even those extended friends of family who hadn't known us well cried from how emotional it was. This was my first time in this chiropractor office and the 5 star review was definitely for Dr…read more Cruz. So the downside, when I got to the office I was greeted and I filled out some paper work as a new patient I waited a few minutes as expected. A little bit after, a second receptionist came to the front of the reception area and started complaining about the time I arrived which was a few minutes before I was scheduled she tried speaking in a low voice but was loud enough for me to hear her. She calls my name and I start walking to the back,she stops me in the hall and tells me since "I" ran late the dr wouldn't be able to treat me and all she would do is give me a consultation. I simply told her I was on time and if the dr couldn't treat me or spend time with me and my condition what was the point of even seeing the dr. Which she replied idk the dr will do the best she can......... I was very disappointed as I'm the patient coming for care.! To my surprise I was greeted and treated by an amazing DR who listened to all my concerns and took her time to explain ever step of her treatment methods, with gentle hands she helped me out and started an action plan for my treatment. Had it not been for Dr. Cruz I wouldn't return nor would I recommend this place, however I will continue my treatment and return rather than looking for somewhere else. A bit of advice for a medical establishment, your receptionist are your frontline and it's imperative that they are knowledgeable as kind. They SHOULDN'T be telling a patient they might not been seen or treated, because again we are coming to you and trusting you to help us with our pain.
