The customer service is consistently disappointing. Staff rarely makes eye contact, there is little to no acknowledgment when customers enter the store, and basic courtesies such as greeting customers or providing updates on wait times are completely absent. It is extremely inefficient and disorganized. What makes the experience particularly frustrating is that there can be only a couple of customers in the store while several employees are on the floor, yet it can still take 30 minutes to an hour just to get someone's attention or speak with a staff member. During these waits, there is often no communication, no indication of who is being helped next, and no confirmation that anyone will be assisting you. As a family that loves biking and has invested a lot of time and money on our bikes, it's so frustrating to get it serviced at this location and will be looking at going elsewhere.

One of the two gentlemen, with whom I spoke, was also very polite and friendly. However, I visited this location because of a specific bike they had advertised on sale and when they showed me the bike, I immediately noticed it was not as advertised. They had switched out the front shocks, tires, and shifters for lower end components which were not the components advertised on their website. For all I know, they may have downgraded other components as well that I didn't take the time to notice. While it is possible this was simply a mistake in advertising, I find it a little "fishy". When I asked if they could replace the original components, they made it clear that was not possible so I wonder what happened to those high end components. In any event, I walked out without the bike as it was simply not as advertised. As a result, I doubt I will return in the future. I definitely plan to warn my riding buddies and caution them against buying a bike from Pedalinx.

They said "Yes", I dropped off my bike, and it was literally done within an hour! Clay, the guy who received me, was very friendly and helpful when I told him the situation. Price-wise, it's a bike store, so nothing is cheap. The cost to install tires was in-line with another store that I asked. When I arrived for pick-up, another man who was at the counter asked if I wanted to purchase a spare tube in my size which is difficult to find, and I obliged. Great way to make an additional sale/look out for the customer. All in all, new tires really made a difference during my long journey! Customer service was fast and friendly. :)

My bike required some mineral hydraulic brake oil as it was low . But during these times were in right now with COVID these bicycles shops are all out if stock of not only bikes but almost anything you require including some bike shops like Cyclepath in Brampton closing down after 40 yrs in business , things have really been tough for some of these business , I also found that most of the bike shops in peeel also had majorly reduced hours, except Trek . After many calls Trek had the oil I required so I drove down to pick it up at there mississauga location just east of Winston Churchill on Dundas . This is a fairly new and large location that they openmed up recently. Seems like they had a good selection and variety of there Trek brand bikes and a great selection of parts and accessories for bikes , most bike related items . They also have nike techs on staff to do any tuning or bike repairs you require. They were friendly professional and helped me in a quick manner. Nice knowledgable staff , as I had some questions and they seem to really know there stuff there. I really recomend this store and just earned me as a new loyal customer. They seem to have most things in stock and an amazing variety of tools that I have not seen at other bike shops. Great experience and I got my oil.

I ended up coming to Van de Velo after I was turned away from another bike shop because they didn't have the tube that I needed.  Since I was already out and had my bike with me, I decided to head here after confirming they had a tube. On their website, appointments are required, but I was happy they had time to accommodate me. Solved my issue at a reasonable rate, so I'm happy!  I was afraid that I'd hafta head to a park and take a walk, but I literally waited 10mins for the repair.  Good as new! I had the person change my roadbike's chain and adjust gears and he only took $30 bucks. You may think if the bike mechanic isn't charging much, he is probably not a professional. But that's not the case either, he has actually taken courses in bike repair (building wheel etc) and knows his shit. My gears have never shifted this better, he also fixed my breaks and adjusted the rear deraiuler, "I saw your derailuer was bent and your breaks were kinda misalligned, i fixed them too". After bringing my bike back they very reluctantly agreed to fix it but replaced my very good chain wheel with a chain wheel you'd get in a cereal box. My bike has never functioned so poorly in the years I've owned it. Very incompetent staff.
