The music was awesome, they had three bands in one. And they have a food vendor out there, the best Cajun food this side of Louisiana. Man that food was so damn good!! I thought I was at a top tier restaurant with the way that food came and tasted!

Izze at Emmit's Place Houston

What a cool place to see fantastic acts and what an amazing performance by my new favorite jazz artist! We caught Izze Stein at Emmit's Place last night for her Houston debut (she's on a national tour), and she blew the roof off--a packed house after a sold-out Austin stop, with Nashville up next. Her two-set show mixed soulful originals with pop/classic Top-40 covers (Billy Joel, Erykah Badu, Michael Jackson, John Legend, Elton John- even her take of "Over the Rainbow") delivered with stunning range and style. Catch her now before she's playing arenas- you'll be telling your friends about it for years!

An ice house with live music. Good service ample parking local music. The drinks are strong and served quickly. A welcoming place clean. There is ample tables and bar space with low cover and drink specials low cover. It's unapologetically an ice house in an outer loop manor. Worth the drive

Great band Klockwork. Liked they had tea for a non drinker! Mix of people and attire. From sweats n tennis to suits

Enjoyed my first visit, great band, Klockwork, singing old school & Motown. Also enjoyed the tea they had available as I'm a non drinker. Attire and crowd both were a mix in dress, age and ethnicity. Felt very comfortable going in alone, seemed everyone was just enjoying the music and the food from the outside grill. Cover this night was $10. Wil return especially if I see Klockwork scheduled again.

Great place to enjoy Raa Raa and the Zydeco Allstars as well as a $5 red stripe. Laid back and casual. Great combination.

First time hangin out in Houston. Too bad the rain drove the crowds away. But it enraptured all of what neighborhood bad is. If you're looking for gimmick, you looking under the wrong rock!!!!! This is the type of place you can bring your lady, your crew or your parents!! Good wholesome grown up fun. There are jello shots, cheap beer, and varieties of cocktails.. Not to mention, there's a pool table. And an opportunity to drink your cares away while sweating your outfit out to some Zydeco swing! When I come be k to this town, I have to reserve a table.

It's the sister property to a larger sports venue next door. You will only find the name of the lounge written on the entry door. My visits were driven by a desire for a place to have a coupe of drinks and enjoy some music and the Lounge at Six works for me. The bartender did an excellent job on the cocktails and single handed served the entire room. You can order food (Thai Cuisine) that comes from the sports bar next door. Thai food at a sports bar isn't typical but the menu is large and I haven't found an item I didn't thoroughly enjoy. If you don't want the energy of a sports bar stick to the dark setting of the Lounge at Six.

We stopped by around 5 PM on Monday but the door was locked. We asked next door how to get in and they said The Lounge requires a reservation. They weren't sure how we could make a reservation so they took down our name and phone number and said we would be contacted by the "correct people". It has now been three days and nothing. There is no website or direct phone number for the establishment. It seems like a broken system, very disappointed.

It was and still is the perfect place to "WINE"-down and grab an delicious appetizer. Perfect to visit if solo, on a date, or with friends or colleagues after work. This quaint lounge setting offers bar seating, high top tables, lounge and booth seating, as well as patio seating overlooking a the beautiful tree-lined street. They also offer a separate room to host meetings or parties. Appetizers are delicious - I ordered their fried pickles and spinach dip. Just enough to hit the spot. For my cocktail, I selected the a classic apple martini (I know, "who still drinks those still?" Lol...I do...nothing wrong with a classic dahling). Great times and worth the check out. Right "upstairs" from Hungry's, this place is a great spot to chill. Self parking is limited, however they do offer valet. No street parking. Enjoy!

The service stood out right away, very welcoming and friendly, and the food came out extremely fast, which was a plus. As for the food, it was decent overall. The wings had good flavor, but the ranch was a bit watery and could definitely use more seasoning. The onion rings were also good, just needed a little extra seasoning to really bring them up a notch. Overall, it's a solid spot for happy hour with good prices, generous portions, and great service.

If going twice in two nights when visiting from L.A. isn't a testament to a great bar, I don't know…read morewhat is. I ate at Norigami Tuesday night and it was great as were the cocktails served up at the nextdoor bar called Hidden Bar. On Tuesday, I tried the Thai Chili Ginger Margarita ($13) and it was great, complete with a hunk of candied ginger which I "gingerly" consumed throughout my drink experience...see what I did there? Next, I had the Three Dots and a Daiquiri ($13) with Rum, Lime, Velvet Falernum, All Spice and Pineapple and it was very similar to one of my favorite tiki drinks, the Three Dots and a Dash, complete with 3 luxardo cherries. To finish, I had the absolutely incredible Golden Laurel ($16) with Gin, Italicus Bergamot, House Greek Botanical Bitters and Sea Salt. It is equally beautiful served with a clear bay leaf and delicious. Last night, I was guided by the friendly bartender to try the Et Tu Banana" ($15) with Banana Bourbon, Spiced Pear, Creme de Banane, Campari and Citric Acid. I was a little worried about the cocktail being overly banana-y but it wasn't at all. It was a fantastic drink. For my last call, he recommended the Left Hand ($13) with Bourbon, Campari, Sweet Vermouth and Chocolate Bitters. Again, fantastic. Both nights, the bartenders and drinks were fantastic. Ambiance is nice with moody lighting. They even have a bidet toilet seat in the bathroom! Hidden Bar is a "hidden" gem, for sure. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

They even have a selfie ring light on the wall, which is such a fun touch for pictures (because if you didn't take pics, did you even go??) Now--fair warning--we went on a Friday night and it was PACKED. We were lucky enough to find seats, but it was so crowded we could barely talk without yelling, and we were basically shoulder-to-shoulder with the people around us Other than that, it's a really nice spot to grab drinks, hang out with friends, and get some cute content. Would I go again? Yes... just maybe not on a Friday night
