My family and I absolutely are so grateful for this place and especially Christian. We unfortunately have lost multiple loved ones the past couple of years and this is our first choice to handle our loved ones affairs. Death is already so hard and painful , but the level of customer service , and compassion they give is next level. Christian is such a special person to our family, and has really been so easy to work with throughout this crazy process. The biggest gift he has ever given us is the ability to see my lil brother and cousin one last time. My family didn't think this was a possibility, but he made it happen , giving my family peace in being able to say goodbye. Christian at Emmerson Bartlett provided excellent, caring assistance when my husband passed away. From my first call, to our first meeting, to the chapel service to Riverside National Cemetery-- Christian was right there. Everything went smoothly. My husband's service was beautiful from beginning to end. Christian listened to our requests, tuned in to what I had hoped for and made it happen. I gave him a selection of songs and pictures from my husband's life. He turned it into a wonderful video. Most all of us, if we are lucky, don't have a lot of experience (and I have had more than I would like to!) in being responsible for planning events such as funerals--so to have a knowledgeable, comforting person to guide us through it was a blessing. Christian also called to see how I was doing after it was all over. In addition, my youngest stepdaughter passed away about a month after her dad. Her sisters wanted to honor her wishes to be buried at sea. Because of our experience at Emmerson-Bartlett with Christian, they were fortunate in knowing they could turn to him for guidance once again. My stepdaughter first visited Emmerson Bartlett at the end of April as we had just placed her dad, my husband, on hospice care. She talked with Christian, and he was exceptionally helpful. Our first meeting with Rick was for a couple of days later and intended for getting set up for whenever the funeral "might" happen, but then my husband died quite suddenly. Rick helped guide my stepdaughter and me, both grief-stricken, through the process of what needed to be done and what options we had. We were experiencing not only the grief but also huge disappointment since he was an Air Force veteran and would not be able to have a proper service nor honors at the national cemetery due to COVID-19. Rick was extraordinarily sympathetic and understanding, and many times he went above and beyond for us in order to see to it that my husband was honored as much as was possible. The service in the chapel, though only a private family service, was beautiful and very honoring. Rick and Christian were so kind and readily available throughout that difficult day. My father passed away quickly after a cancer diagnosis. We were in complete shock, and we r still in shock. When we first met with Christian at Emmerson, he listened to us reminiscence of the past and discussed what my father wanted at his funeral. We spoke for about an hour and a half. We never felt rushed. My father wanted his coffin covered with the USA flag due to his military service. He didn't want anything else but the flag. I struggled not getting flowers because I've always seen flowers at funerals. Christian assured me it would be beautiful, and it was AMAZING. The flag showed how much respect my father had for the USA and the years he spent fighting in Vietnam. The flag is also known as a pilar of strength, and my dad was definitely the pilar of our family. We needed to take time for relatives to come to California for the services, and that was fine. They never rushed us, and they were always helpful when we discussed what my dad wanted. I highly recommend Emerson Mortuary and Christian. Tomorrow July 1st will be 4 years that my brother Tony has been gone, that day time stood still for me, I felt lost and hopeless! Never ever having to Lay a loved one to rest, let alone my baby brother, he was my heart and I loved his beautiful out going soul and he deserved the best. I remember when I walked into Emmerson Bartlett, I'd seen this place being I've lived in Redlands for so long, but never ever would I have thought I'd see the inside. I walked in and I met Christian, who I must say just let me cry and he knew immediately I was lost and struggling to figure this tragic loss. He was so kind, and didn't rush me he let me cry and talk about my Brother! He listened and promised me he would be there every step of the way and was just a phone call away. I can't say enough about the amazing job Emmerson-Bartlett in Redlands did, specifically Christian Quintana. He was attentive, extremely detailed, patient and compassionate. Very close family friends told me the wonderful job he had done for them and they were absolutely right! From the moment I called and talked to him I felt at ease. When he said he would take care of something he did. He went above and beyond. I had to have a service in California and back East for my mother and he took care of every detail with no hiccups. Christian helped our family immensely in 2019 with the passing of our dad and again in 2023 with the passing of our mom. On both occasions, Christian was compassionate and professional every step of the way. He fully explained everything we needed to do to have a lovely service and burial for our parents. We received many compliments about the tribute page, video picture collage, and program that Christian created for us. The reception room allowed for our family and friends to gather comfortably to enjoy food and fellowship as we remembered the good times we had with each other. My mother-in-law had a pre-planned paid from 30 years prior and was handled very professional.
