Elizabeth Rubio was extremely good to work with when my brother passed away. They were very caring in the way that they handled things, picking my brother up at his final location and going through the cremation process. Arrowhead Aftercare is a direct crematory and the prices are much better than anyone else. they handled everything from the required certificates to the death certificates and took care of all the services I requested. I would give Arrowhead Aftercare 10 stars if could. Death is always hard to go through but Arrowhead Aftercare will do their best to make it easier and more caring. read more

The prices are not bad; but they force you to pay for things you don't need. And Anthony made a typo on the death certificates; of which I Purchased four of them. They wanted ME to pay to correct his error!!! I was asked to show the correct information that was given to him prior to ordering the certificates. I sent copies via email and my emails and calls went unanswered. This error has caused delays and errors of our legal claims and processing's. This is a prime profit time for their industry and they would rather" nickel & dime " me over their error. Even knowing that we would need services again soon. It saddens me that I had to play chase to TRY and get my daughters arrangements done.I called before I left the hospital and was told transport would be arranged.I hung up thinking wow great service and they haven' t asked for any payments yet.That was my second call the one prior was to get information on how it all worked and giving details and information.The next day I called because I hadn't heard anything and was told to leave a message Followed by another call the day after that and same thing.I was told it was marked urgent that time.Anyway someone did reach out a few hours later and by then I contacted another crematory who took care of everything without the excuses of me getting something signed by the doctor to release blah blah blah...they did it all and quickly.The person who reached out to me offered me no condolances nothing he just said okay and hung up after I told him I made other arrangments My number one reason I reached out immediately it was important to me my daughter not be left at the hospital for so many days.Which was silly now I understand but that was my thought at that time. read more

My father passed away a week ago on 9/11/2007 of a heart attack. It was a very sudden and sad event - one that has left myself and my family still in shock. Arrowhead Aftercare, however, helped us get through the very difficult process of deciding what to do with my father's remains in a very professional, caring and dignified manner. This Yelp review is taken from the recent experiences of my mother, my aunt, my wife and myself. This is truly a family Yelp. Arrowhead Aftercare is located on 5th Street in Highland. Its a tucked-away, very low key business site. Don't let this fool you, however, as they are very much a full service establishment. Representatives arrived at my mother's home less than an hour after we contacted them and removed my father's body. My mother and aunt knew what my father wanted as far as after his passing - a cremation followed by a scattering of his ashes in the mountains. The people from Arrowhead Aftercare were very respectful of these wishes. They in no way pushed any additional or expensive services. They listened and made suggestions - laying out what options were available and letting Mom and my Aunt decide. A few days later, my wife and I went there to talk with the employees about arrangements, and were duly impressed. They were respectful and polite. The place does their own cremations and embalmings; has a room showcasing the various urns, headstones, and other funeral services they offer. They also have a small selection of caskets. Everything was reasonably priced. As we were leaving - saw a room that's used for Memorial Services. It was nice sized and led out to an outside courtyard. Turns out they also host Memorial Services and funerals. Even though its a creepy subject, I highly recommend using Arrowhead Aftercare should the situation unfortunately arrive. They will help make the arrangements go much smoother - whether your needs are for aftercare in the far future or more immediate. Even though I wish I didn't have to - I highly recommend this place. Seems odd to review on such a delicate subject. After my soon to be father in law passed away unexpectedly we were thrown into high gear of planning his final arrangements. A very rough start to say the least. The sheriff had called a mortuary to come get his body and they wanted $2000 to release him to Arrowhead Aftercare. After informing them of their wrong doing we were able to move him, Thankfully Cici and her team were so kind, amazing and thoughtful. They too were mortified at our experience prior to us dealing with Arrowhead. Seems cold to discuss price but $695 for cremation vs $2100 at the other place was a god send. They had great follow through, sensitive as we had a tough time getting a death certificate signed. I would highly HIGHLY recommend them to handle your loved ones final requests. Where do I begin to express all my gratitude for choosing Arrowhead Aftercare for their exceptional services during such a heart breaking time for me and my family. On April 7, 2012 my father passed away from congestive heart failure after he was rushed to St Bernardine's Hospital on April 1, 2012. My father's passing at 81 years of age came suddenly and my family was not at all prepared in our hearts to loose our hero. My Dad was telling jokes right up until his last two hours and looked fantastic the evening he passed. As one of four of his daughters, I had the painful job of finding the crematory to have his body sent to, since we had no idea we'd loose him so suddenly that week. After approximately 5 calls to several other mortuaries etc. I called and spoke to Bruce first, which he then had me call the following day and I spoke to Cissy Clement at Arrowhead Aftercare. She was not only compassionate and caring, but very clear on the what would happen next and the exact cost for my father to be cremated at their facilities. She never tried to over sell or pry on my weakness from the the loss. Always kind, caring and professional. With the wind of the loss of my father taken out of me, she Cissy made the process going forward with services for him painless! To the "T" in time frames, cost and what to expect she was right on! Without a shadow of a doubt my family and I miss my father immensely, I never thought I could go through this part of life and loss to handle what is nessacary when a loved one passes away. I am 56 years old and fortunately we have not had an immediate death in our family. But with the support of Cissy and the staff that work there, my father was in the best care possible now that he was gone. I highly recommend the staff at Arrowhead Aftercare for making this part of our life bearable. They were very sensitive, compassionate, caring during this time for me! Once I had decided to go with their services, I had asked Cissy when my father would be transported from the hospital to their facilities. She reply; when we pick him up and he is in my hands I will call you... She did just that and you can't imagine how comforting that made me feel... My father was also a veteran and is given military honor guards for his services. In less than a week she made sure the honor guards were at his services and they too did an exceptional job! It's taken me just over a month to write this post, but seriously choose Arrowhead Aftercare, it will make a difference for you and your loved one.
