This company was selected to photograph the WCHS Class of 2027 Senior Portraits after recommending that their services would provide a better experience. Unfortunately, this turned out to be a HORRIBLE MISTAKE, and I cannot express how disappointed and upset I am with the way our students and families were treated.
Let's be clear: Senior portraits are not just ordinary pictures. They represent one of the most important milestones in a young person's life. These students have worked for 12 years to reach this moment. As parents, we look forward to celebrating this accomplishment and having professional portraits that capture a milestone we can never get back. This company failed miserably at recognizing the importance of that responsibility.
The lack of preparation was unacceptable. The photographers arrived without bow ties for the young men because they FORGOT them. How does a professional photography company forget essential items needed to complete a senior portrait session? This was not an unexpected detail; it was part of the basic preparation required to do the job.
To make matters worse, they started an hour late, creating a ripple effect that pushed scheduled appointments an hour or more behind. Students were left waiting for hours just to have their portraits taken. Despite the delays, there was little consideration for the students' time, and the photographers did not provide the individual attention, professionalism, or care that each student deserved.
The final photographs were equally disappointing. The portraits for WCHS Class of 2027 were unprofessional, poorly executed, and lacking attention to even the most basic details. Students were not properly posed, their appearance was not adequately checked, and the overall quality reflected a rushed and careless process. These are supposed to be photographs families proudly display and cherish, not images that leave parents questioning how a professional company could deliver such poor results.
What makes this situation even MORE upsetting is the complete lack of accountability afterward. Parents have requested retakes because the photographs do not meet reasonable expectations, and the company has refused. I have personally attempted to call to address these concerns, only to have the phone disconnected. It is incredibly frustrating to feel that a company is making itself inaccessible rather than taking responsibility for a service it failed to deliver.
Mistakes happen. However, what defines a professional company is how it responds when things go wrong. This company has demonstrated a disappointing lack of preparation, consideration, communication, and accountability. There has been no meaningful effort to acknowledge the impact of its mistakes or make things right for the students and families affected.
TO THE COMPANY: PLEASE UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU HAVE TAKEN AWAY FROM THESE FAMILIES. We cannot recreate this exact moment. We cannot go back and give these students a better senior portrait experience. We trusted you with an important milestone in our children's lives, and you treated it as though it were just another appointment on a schedule.
As parents, we are proud of our children and everything it has taken for them to reach their senior year. They deserved better! Their families deserved better! WCHS Class of 2027 deserved better!
I am not simply upset about disappointing photographs. I am upset about the disregard for our students, the disrespect for families' time, and the complete absence of accountability when concerns were raised.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY if you expect professionalism, preparation, quality, and customer service. I would strongly encourage other schools and families to think twice before trusting them with such an important occasion.
A company ENTRUSTED with CAPTURING ONCE-IN-A-LIFE-TIME memories should understand the RESPONSIBILITY that comes with that PRIVILEGE. Unfortunately, this company has shown us otherwise, CARELESSNESS ATTITUDE. If I could I would give a rating of 0 no stars.
