Love this deli! Egg Sandwiches are great and chocolate chip pancakes are yummy

Been here multiple times. I have yet to see anything that the negative reviews mention in any regard. Place is clean, food is on point, prices are fair. 2.5 stars for the food, 0 for service. 2 out of 3 times I order from here they butcher my order. Even after I have them repeat my order to me. I dont understand. Food is overpriced, like $8 for an egg sandwich and they take FOREVER to complete your order. Today we ordered 2 egg sandwiches. They told us 25 minutes. We got there after 30 and my husband still waited 15 minutes for the food. And when we got home the order was wrong. Disappointing to say the least. read more

Awesome Deli. Nice, courteous, hard working people and delicious fresh foods daily. John T. needs to lighten up. Sounds like he knows them personally from the way he spoke. Maybe he should try and run a business before writing such rude words. I've been going to this Deli for a year and never had any issues. I would definitely request this as my final meal on death row. Everyone is so nice and sweet here.

Their delivery is terrible. Always late, or to the wrong place. We have 35 minutes to eat and we tell them earlier and they still can't get it right. Now it's at the wrong place and they are sending someone to go get it but lunch is going to be over. read more

OMG this place is the wost on planet earth. There are like 25 kids behind the counter not wearing masks properly and the owner is running around sweating because they all just stand there doing nothing. #2 the food was HORRIBLE. The hero was hard I had asked for cheese there was none on there and I am sure was charged for it. Then I tried their acai bowl. It was tart and tasted like it was stale and laying around for days before they put it in the blender. #3 They do not even give you a side salad with a hero. Something that costs 1 dollar they charge you for. Last, I had heard around the neighborhood that it was sub-par but thought how bad could it be.....well it was disgusting and smelled like a greasy spoon. This will be a One and Done. Just got the tuna. Drowned in mayo with shredded lettuce. Not that same as earlier this week. Tells me the tuna doesn't sell well and it is at least a week old. I order from here all of the time because the bacon egg and cheeses are pretty great, but after today I'm finding some place else. I was missing a food order that I placed with Uber Eats for over 45 minutes and called to check with them to see if they had any information about when my driver had left since the order kept getting delayed. A male voice on the phone, I'm assuming the owner, decided to cut me short and tell me that they were very busy today and people had lost power and then hung up on me. Granted, I wasn't even blaming them, just wanted to know if they had seen my driver show up and if the app was wrong. This is about my third time communicating with them directly on the phone and while they are usually terse due to being busy, today really rubbed me the wrong way, especially since I've supported them through COVID with multiple orders each month. This place is going downhill. Emmas use to be the place to go. It's not the same. I was disappointed. The place looks rundown. The owner really needs to close one day and do spring cleaning. Staff is so nice and friendly they always take care of their customers I've never had a bad meal there before and they always accommodate your needs I have been going there for years!! i love Emma's deli. I always fax my salad orders and they are always accurate and fresh. the delivery time is average for lunch time in a busy area. I also call in my egg sandwich orders and they are ready right away. I look past the appearance on the inside to get their good food. read more

I would have given Emma's Deli a 10 but a 5 was the HIGHEST amount allowed. I am a very large man with a ferocious appetite. I couldn't decide between getting something with a chicken cutlet or beef. So I got two sandwhiches. I got a steak sandwich with melted provolone, onions, horseradish and barbecue sauce on TOASTED GARLIC BREAD. It was EPIC. The bread was toasted so perfectly and the steak was as juicy as could be and combined with Those onions and melted cheese it was a GRAND SLAM HOME RUN. My 2nd sandwhich was a chicken cutlet with bacon and melted provolone with ranch and barbecue sauce. The Chicken Cutlet was cooked EXACTLY as I like them, with a little crispy crunchiness on the outside with a tender fresh juicyness on the inside. This sandwhich was also DELICIOUS. The staff here was the FRIENDLIEST I've ever seen. The service was quick and fast and the quality of the food was just Marvelous. This is one of the BEST Delicatesens on Long Island.
