I reached out to this company through Yelp for a project quote and specifically explained that I…read morehave fragrance sensitivities and needed to confirm accommodations before booking. Initially, communication was responsive. I was told what services were included and that the day I wanted was completely open. However, when I mentioned I needed to call back before confirming, I was suddenly told availability might not remain open, which felt somewhat high pressured. When I called back, I was informed I needed to sign a waiver related to my sensitivities. I completed the waiver promptly, but I never received clear follow-up confirmation to finalize the booking. I followed up later that same day and again over the next two days by phone, but received no response or update. I completely understand if a company decides they can't accommodate a request, but losing communication with a potential customer after having them complete paperwork felt unprofessional. A simple "we're unable to move forward" would have been appreciated. Their pricing was also on the higher end compared to other companies I contacted. I ultimately hired another cleaner who had excellent communication, respected my fragrance sensitivities, and did impeccable work. Sharing this so others, especially people with fragrance sensitivities or accommodation needs, know that communication may be inconsistent.

We've only had one deep cleaning so far but we're looking forward to regular monthly cleanings…read more Glenda is responsive over text and the cleaners were friendly, professional, and efficient. The most impressive thing of all is that they managed to clean our kitchen hood. We rent and when we moved in six years ago it was already dripping grease, it was so gunked up (like, it was literally coming out of the light and fan switches). We hired cleaners when we first moved in but they looked at the hood and said it couldn't be done, so ever since we never bothered to clean it or look into getting it cleaned. I didn't mention the hood to the Magic Hands cleaners and assumed they would also skip it like the previous cleaners, so my jaw hit the floor when they showed it to me after they had finished the house. All the grease was gone! We don't have grease dripping down onto the counters anymore! I'm so embarrassed we've been living like this for the last six years! So a huge thanks to Magic Hands for showing us we don't have to live in filth

Would definitely recommend them as a good option for house cleaning in the Berkeley area.

Our dad made the kitchen cabinets so I bet he would be delighted at how clean they are now. Thank you Lucy and your team for making our parents home look loved and cared for. Since moving in in 2021 this carpet has been torn brutalized by a puppy (now a 4 year old dog), 2 cats, various babies, parties where ppl don't take off their shoes, etc. My mom had just hired Jose to clean the carpets in HER house and was so happy with the result she gave me his number. As someone who is fairly meticulous and a bit of a germaphobe, I chose Daiany because I thought her work on Yelp spoke for itself. She was my first pick, and I'm so glad she was able to help me. With pretty short notice, Daiany was able to provide a quote, answer my questions, and get me scheduled. She was super responsive and thorough when communicating before and after our time together. On the day of, she messaged me her ETA and arrived right on time. She and her team member helped return a unit that looked like it hadn't been cleaned in at least a year to a nearly new state. The floors were made spotless, cabinets were unstickified, blinds were cleaned, oil stains were removed from the kitchen, colorful mold was removed from the shower walls and floor, etc. I was genuinely amazed that they were able to clean the shower as well as they did! They far exceeded my expectations. There were a few small things missed toward the end of a fairly long cleaning session, and Daiany was more than happy to address any remaining issues, which was sincerely appreciated. I haven't had too many move-out cleanings performed, but Daiany has been the best, and I plan to use her for any cleanings I need moving forward. If you're looking for a responsive, pleasant, and super thorough cleaning business, I highly recommend Cleaning By Daiany.
