When I arrived Dianna was working on a customer but she was finishing up so my waiting time was max 5 min. ( which is not bad IMO) When it was my turn I told her that I desperately need a haircut. Instead of the Bob she asked me if I rather do layers since some of the split ends were not only on the bottom. I told her yes, might as well get it done properly. She was fantastic. I absolutely love my hair now. It looks like a layered Bob :) I only got a cut since I prefer to style my hair myself, I went home and showered and I am in love with the cut. I found the price (14$) very acceptable. I was very pleased with this saloon, I am going back for sure. !!!!

I found amazing reviews on Michelle and reached out. We had a FaceTime call first (she was going out of town) so she could see what needed to be fixed and I was able to hear what her plan would be to correct it. I loved it! I was on board and booked my appointment with her. The day of I sat in her chair and she proceeds to put her hands through my hair ... "ohhh yeahhhhh". We talked about the plan, she told me the steps she was going to do and proceeded to gingerly cut away. I also got a shampoo and blow-dry with my haircut. Loved that nice touch on massage! She left me looking 10/10 when she was done! She was so gracious telling me if there is something that needed to be fixed to let her know and she'd do what she could to get me in. I did make one quick trip back but that was not to her fault. We knew that we were going to have to do a grow out to really correct the issue since we are trying to save some length. I am that girl that either doesn't brush her hair in the morning (true story) and just makes sure it's laying nice by running some pomade over flyaways because I do not like using heat! OR I take 5 minutes and use that round brush blowdryer (get you one! so fast!) and the picture I posted was that day. I'm very happy with the results. She had alot to fix and she delivered! Coincidentally my aunt went to another butcher, I mean barber, I mean stylist and was in the same situation. I immediately sent her Michelle's info and she booked an appt. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I felt people should see what $110 got me here…read more I had to stop the service mid-appointment because basic nail prep was not being done. I work with my hands for a living, and my nails genuinely needed proper cleaning and prep before tips were applied. Instead, I found myself having to repeatedly ask for basic prep work while being made to feel uncomfortable for speaking up. The tips were then applied with excessive glue/product underneath the nails, leaving thick chunks underneath that make the nails difficult to properly clean. When I expressed concern, I was told the glue "had to be there" to make the nails strong. I have been getting my nails done for decades and have never had a technician argue with me for not wanting large globs of hardened glue underneath my nails. When I said I wanted to stop the service, I was told "let me fix it," but the issues were never actually corrected. The nail lengths and shapes were inconsistent, the filing/shaping was uneven, and there were visible imperfections, debris, and rough edges throughout the work. I also had concerns about sanitation. The UV lamp being used appeared dirty and damaged, and the drill/e-file bits looked visibly unclean between clients, which made me increasingly uncomfortable during the appointment. I've attached photos so people can judge the quality for themselves.

I ended up doing a color correction which was wayyyy more than I was hoping to spend ($500) but it turned out great and I love it. The whole thing was like a 4 step process and she even added a hot oil treatment for me cause I was really worried about the damage bleaching my hair would do. Whole thing took about 2 hours. I'll definitely be going back for touchups cause I can't let it get as bad as it did in that before photo!
