Her husband is also developing symptoms, and to make matters worse, she JUST had a baby and is terrified of passing the infection to her newborn. Instead of showing concern for a loyal client, Vivian argued with her about a refund and only returned HALF of her money. The owner was also incredibly unprofessional about the entire situation. After a year of giving this business her money, this is how they chose to treat her when something went seriously wrong. Completely unacceptable. I would never recommend trusting this place with something as sensitive as your eyes.

I've gotten two lash lifts here now, overall, it's pretty good!…read more They are $68 by card and $65 if paying by cash. I've usually selected any lash technician, since I'm not sure who to go to yet. The first time I went, the tech took about 45 minutes. The second time I went, the tech took about 30 minutes. Both were very gentle, such that I did doze off at least a couple of times. I guess something to note is that they don't really ask you how lifted you want your lashes, so you might want to specify if you have specific ideas in mind. I probably preferred my second experience a little more in that the lash technician seemed to be meticulous with her technique, and more controlled with her movements (particularly when cleaning my eyelids and lashes). Although the second time, my right eye lashes were slightly less lifted than my left. It's subtle but noticeable to me, and I wonder if it's because my previous lift is lasting a bit longer than my left, so she probably lifted it a bit less (unitentionally). My lash lift from my first visit was still somewhat there (I had gotten it two months prior to my second one), so I'd expect not to need another one for two months from this. Your results might vary depending on your lash growth. It's pretty easy to book appointments online. There's plenty of parking, although they do share it with a gym. In terms of where you'll be seated, there's a common room where everyone can get their services done, and there seems to be two private rooms. For the first time, I ended up in the common room, and the second time I ended up in the private room. I will definitely be back!

First-time client at Tranquility Spa Folsom (Skin and Lashes by Becky) for an evening lash lift…read moreappointment with lash artist Danielle D. on 05/17/21. I also got to meet the owner and esthetician/advanced certified lash extensionist Becky R. while I was filling out initial forms at the counter, she was super welcoming. I have gotten several lash lifts before from Danielle starting in 2019 (she is trained to also do classic and volume lash extensions too) but at another salon in Sacramento; I was happy to follow her here to her new spot. Tranquility is easy to get to, just a couple of miles from the Folsom Blvd exit from Highway 50 and Blue Ravine Road. Tranquility Spa is a very nice, clean, calming space. Masks required, temperature taken, everything wiped down. Since it was later in the day there weren't any other clients so I'm unsure how busy it can get with other services available such as hydro microdermabrasion, facials, waxing, and Novalash eyelash extensions, mink lash sets. For me, Elleebana brand lash lift was the product used ($75), but in general I like that this treatment/service is semi-permanent, enhances my natural lashes from the base and gives that appearance of being perfectly curled or straight, upright, longer, darker, and defined. You can still wear mascara, eyeliner, eyeshadow, etc. but I've found that they look great even without anything applied, albeit not as much drama as a fuller/volume set. I do recommend a clear lash conditioner though for daily brushing. As an alternative to eyelash extensions which are glued on individually, lash lifts require very little/low maintenance but results are long-lasting! Last lifts typically last up to 8 weeks depending on your lash growth cycle and the entire appointment was quick, 45 minutes to an hour at most. The process is simple, safe, and painless -- relax, lay back with eyes closed the whole time and just listen to the music as the tech does her magic. Bottom and top eyelids covered with gel pad (shield?); a silicone rod (S, M, or L) placed on to determine which size best suits your lashes and will achieve the best lift. Water-soluble lash glue is used to push the natural lashes back onto the rod. Lash setting solution is applied for 5-7 minutes on both sides, then gets removed with a swab. Lash neutralizer is applied for 5 minutes on both sides, then solution and rods are removed. If tinting, this would be done last. The first 24 hours after getting the lift do have some limits, but after that you're home free! So much easier than dealing with eyelash curlers everyday, or eyelash extensions that have more involved aftercare/refills, upkeep, restrictions, and commitment to maintain. I did not get a lash tint as my natural lashes are already pretty dark black. Always more than satisfied with my results, and Danielle really is a pro. Note that a minimum of 1-2 months should be observed before getting another lash lift. Danielle is a licensed cosmetologist with a great eye for detail and a sweet, gentle approach; her warm personality and technical skills have made me a dedicated client!
