I recently visited Emily's nails in n capitol ave of Bridgeport,Ct my daughter and I couldn't be let down any more then we have with being overcharged on a full set that did not look nice they were poorly shaped and the design looked flawed I do not recommend anyone go there unless you wanted to be taken for your money. I'd given the chance for the situation to get resolved but to no avail I got nothing in return, my daughter got this set for her birthday which she was fully aware of and still did nothing to make it right this is no way for anyone to conduct their business especially upon just opening. She charged me $95. For jus a uv-gel refill then charged $145. For a full set of acrylics for them to look totally atrocious. Tried getting lash extensions, she was putting lash strips on my eye lashes, didn't even get an opportunity to tell her to stop because my eyes were GLUED SHUT. After her saying she was done in five minutes she helped me to get the glue out of my eyes with a tweezer that she kept poking my eyeball with. I looked in the mirror and was literally shocked she thought even as strips those were lash extensions. She had glued the strips to my actual lashes. I told her to take them off and she said she would have to charge me for a soak off. I said it was fine but she needed to take them off. My eyes were burning and watering while she ripped the strips off. I went to the girl in the front who's apparently the new owner and she had no words to say. I used to come here all the time to get My nails done because Emily really does a great job and they generally don't overcharge. Well that was up until this past week when I came in to get my nails done after being gone for a month and a half and they charged me $126 for a full set and design? Are you serious right now? That's UNBELIEVABLE. I used to brag and refer people to this place because of how affordable their prices were for such a great job but now I will taking my business elsewhere. Ironic that you would try to screw over someone who would always tip you 50-75% of the bill. read more

Really disappointed with this place. I have gone there for several years but lately their products are very cheap. I paid $40 for dip powder( wish they had better quality powder like sns). Three days after getting them done two nails broke when putting my toddler's shoes on. Recently, got a gel mani and my nails started chipping the next day. They looked so bad for the day of the ceremony I was so disappointed . Lastly, they are very low on workers there were only three last time and there were people who actually waited over an hour to get their nails done. DON'T go to this place! I brought my daughter to this nail salon 1 week ago and already three nails fell off and two others are loose. Mind you a fullset starts at $35. I paid $50 for lime green nails. I came here after finding them on Instagram and was impressed by the pictures they had posted. I did not get the tech responsible for that work. My acrylic fill was so bad someone had to redo them before I left the salon when he saw them at checkout. I was there for three hours total for a fill. The girl I believe to be Emily who does the work on Instagram was also a bit snippy with me over nothing. Will never return. read more

I've been to Emily's nail spa three times out of desperation and every time I wasn't satisfied with something. The first time was the ridiculous price of $125 for nails that chipped within the first week, the tools weren't sanitized for a pedicure, and they have roach traps and dead roaches lying around. Emily is nice, but needs to create a set starting price and give customers the quality of work they are paying for. In the future I'd advised all customers to ask the price before hand because they will change their prices depending on the day to make their quota. read more

I have been going to see Emily for years now. She and her staff never fail to leave me looking and feeling fabulous. The salon is always clean, everyone is super friendly, and the prices are totally fair considering the high quality work they do compared to other nail salons. My big thing is making sure everything is sanitized (you also have the option to buy your own kit that is yours only which I TOTALLY recommend). The staff is great and it's completely my go-to place. read more

This nail salon is dirty and unsanitary and the woman who work there are so rude. They basically charge you full price to use a dirty cuticle cutter and put on cheap ugly polish. I ran out as soon as they finished polishing. Of course my nails were ruined but I couldn't wait to run. YIKES! read more

Went here to get a quick gel manicure. I called prior to my visit to make sure they would be able to see me. After the owners directed me to sit down in the waiting area, I patiently waited to hear when a nail technician would be able to take me. I waited for 45 minutes while I watched an employee arrange the nail polishes. I ended up leaving without being serviced because it was so close to closing time that they would have not been able to do my nails in time. Emily and Sonny are absolutely amazing!! They are super friendly, accommodating and personable! The salon is located in a very nice area of Bridgeport right on the Fairfield line. They always stay open later to accommodate my work schedule and give me the greatest tips on just about anything! Their prices are very reasonable compared to other salons and they never rush while working on you. I know they always have my best interest and my day is always brighter after visiting with Emily and Sonny!!!! read more
