The fact that this company charges a removal fee for a can that was in use (while I was paying a fee for use of it), is bad business. What's worse are the FEES on top of the $44 removal fee. The first one has increased since I was first quoted it a few weeks ago... it's now $17.57 for a Fuel & Environmental Fee (huh?), plus $6 MN State Tax, plus $10 Hennepin County Tax. The service rep told me that Hennepin is the 3rd highest in the state. Interesting - for what in return? Check out a smaller trash company. This one will rob you. My $77 final payment to them will definitely be the last in my lifetime. I don't recall ever paying a removal fee from any previous home. This state will find whatever way they can to take, take, take. I would much rather support a small business going forward since they too suffer under this regime.
