Local sports pub located in old town. We were greeted by the bartender Shelby, who was very nice. We are visitors to Wichita and she was able to recommend some other local spots to visit afterwards. We tried some local beers and had the pickle chips for a snack, which were delicious. There is an abundance of televisions to watch sports, and every Sunday football game was on.

The full front area that was empty at our time of arrival except the long giant table in the middle, which had my friends at to celebrate

Was told that we we're not allowed due to "dress code" cause of sweat pants on a freezing temperature night by the two guy's at the door. (note that girls we're getting in free tonight as well). The guys at the door we're dressed like a bum to begin with, and there was people inside there wearing sweats as well, the place had at least the front area (roughly 7-8 tables) that we're empty, and they still said we weren't allowed in (with a charge of 10$/guy). I can understand it being busy, but turning down free $20 to just get in, plus probably another 30-40$ + tip for food/drinks on an dead night, what kind of business practice is this. Also turning us away due to sweatpants even though other guests we're dressed the same, and whats with the double standard of the employees dressed like a bum, but "certain" guests cant Only reason I'm upset/frustrated about it was that it seemed like he was picking/choosing who gets in. Either everyone follows it including ALL guests & employees or this establishment cannot be taken seriously as a business. I understand they can choose who to let in, but i hope this review deters people from ever going.

This place is definitely worth going to at least once for happy hour- the food is good not great- but many items were tasty- and the drinks aren't bad- we ordered lots of appetizers- the mozzarella balls were amazing- the wings were also great- I would pass on the corn dogs next time and the pretzel- and the southwest type egg roll there was no chicken in it

This is our (me, the hubs, our friends) go-to hangout spot. We like how this restaurant/bar has shuffle board, pool tables, foosball, and beer pong. The drink specials are good and I love their cheese fries and fried beef tacos.

Tucked on the periphery of the Wichita State University campus, nestled among frat houses and dilapidated dorms (does anyone even live in Brennan Hall anymore? Is that even a thing?), Field House has been a stalwart since my days as an overly ambitious coed with an ego as unending as the construction on Kellogg. With beer options as varied as Miller Light, as craft as ShockTop, and liquor options that stop just short of Fernet, the Field House isn't for city slickers with perfectly coiffed cowlicks hoping to sample artisan cocktails, and imbibe in sipping tequila. It is however, the perfect spot for those of us in our late 20s and early 30s who never forgot the power of a $5 you-call-it, and the allure of a bartender whom we grew up with, and had a crush on 15 years ago. If you're looking for an economical way to lap away your sorrows and meet a stranger that you'd met once before at the SigEp house a decade or so ago, Field House will deliver. But unlike the days of my reckless youth, I am now old enough to sip my Frio with class, and only occasionally take over the Touch Tunes juke box to put Saves the Day, Panic! At the Disco, and Alkaline Trio on blast. I am also young enough to get straight up drunk on Rumple Minze, eat a bag of cheese Doritos, and toss darts errantly at a dart board or a wall, whichever happens to appear closer at the time.

We had just enough time to grab a cocktail at the bar and enjoy the outside area while we waited. Cheers to the very busy bar team. We were waited on very quickly and our drinks is were well balanced and exactly the same. I ordered the Veggie sandwich with aioli dressing and broccoli salad side salad. I would highly recommend this dish if you want something filling but not overly heavy or hot. My friend ordered the sweet potatoes, her personal favorite, and raved about them. The service was great and the place had a relaxed vibe to it. On a personal note: it was really loud (for my taste) conversations had to be shouted to hear and it's hard to enjoy the great weather and outdoor space with the street noise so close ,the motorcycles that liked to crews by periodically to rev their engines several times during our dinner it made it less than enjoyable dining and for conversation. I love a good patio during nice weather but for me the noise level was so high it was hard to truly enjoy the dining experience as a whole. In general a great place to spend the eve in for dinner and drinks if you don't mind shouting and loud noise throughout your stay.

Hot, tasty, a delicious blend of ingredients and plentiful to boot! Hubby ordered a beer, but I stuck to water. We took some home for breakfast. When I arrived, hubby was seated at the top of tge ramp. The upper level has seating to eat. When you go down a couple of steps, tge var us right there. Pool table over in a sort of secluded corner. There are mire rabies to sit and eat, cdrink and watch one of several TV screens on the wall. The bathrooms are down a long hallway, in case you need to go. The women's was clean, smelled ok and had several pictures of Damon's men on the walls. I can't tell you about the men's except that it is on the left before you get to the women's on the right. Then, an exit. It's important to know in case you drink a lot!

So it is with this mindset that I offer you this....Sat at the bar with my friend and enjoyed a couple of beers. I then checked in with Yelp app. There is a 10% discount coupon listed for Yelp folks who check in. When activate the coupon, you have 4 minutes for the bar personnel to redeem or confirm the coupon. I showed my coupon to bartender who had never seen or heard about it. She found the manager (6/21/23) who took a quick look and told me she nothing about it and proceeded to walk away and forget all about me. Sooooo, no coupon tonight . The atmosphere is not fancy, but homey and inviting just the same. The service was less than steller as I've already mentioned. I ordered the garlic cheese bread with pepperoni and pineapple (yes, I said pineapple). It was okay...the pineapple of course, was the highlight. I did enjoy the good conversation and catching up with a dear old friend, so there is that. Someone should either take that discount down from Yelp or improve the communication with staff.
