Save yourself time and call Quail Electric first. Seriously. I spent and enormous amount of time…read moreemailing and making phone calls trying to find anyone to help me, and Mike with Quail was the ONLY one who offered to come out that day to restore electricity to my well. We opted to wait until the next day, for day light. Mike and team came out the next morning, during the time they said they'd arrive, gave a courtesy 10 mins out fyi text. Ran a temporary line to my pump house and even generously took the time to unfreeze my water pipes before the busted. Oh my! That could have been a whole other headache. Mike and I scheduled a time for him to come back out to run a permanent line to the pump house. He emailed a bid that included a few options for our outdated pump house that we had talked about. I appreciated his opinions, expertise, communication skills and honesty. When Mike and team from Quail returned a few weeks out, he gave the same 10 minutes out from arrival courtesy text. That was much appreciated. When they arrived they busted a move. The trench was dug, the new panel was put into place. He double checked his work and made sure the well pressure tank had emptied and fired up to refill. To top off their efficient and quality work, when I paid my bill it was under the bid he has quoted via email. I was shocked, there is still honest people out there!! He could have easily charged me the bid and left. I will use Quail Electric again and have his information saved in my phone... and his cool sticker on my electric panel.

We needed to upgrade the electrical in our mobile home and add power to our garage/shop. I called…read moreASE and spoke to Art. He was able to come out that day and give a bid. Also met me at my son's house later that day to check out an electrical issue. Bids were very acceptable and work was scheduled. Work at my son's was done a couple days later. I requested a later date due to prep work and 2 electricians arrived right on time. I had all new receptacles installed, ran 3 new circuits (AC, extra hot water tank and split a previous circuit), wiring ran for new ceiling lights, rerouting old wiring and neatening wires from a wall removal. Our little garage/shop had only 1 available receptacle for everything (freezer, lights, etc). Now we have 16 receptacles for 110 and a drop cord for 220. We are so happy! Equipment that has been sitting for years can now be used and no more blowing a breaker if too many amps are used. In the house I can plug in the vacuum without having to crawl under the table or move something to get to a receptacle. Art, Jerron and Hayden were great to work with. They all listened to us, made suggestions and accomplished everything we needed. Highly recommend!!!!!

He came for a site visit, provided an quote and time frame and stuck to them - even with a few adjustments at the time of work. Definitely avoid these guys (David Ouellette and Master Electric). I hired them to install a GFCI…read moreoutlet in our crawlspace. First issue we have: they installed the wrong kind of breaker, which was caught when the inspector from L&I looked at it. So they came back and replaced it, and we assumed all was well. We didn't test the outlet (we assumed it worked) or even need it until this year with the heavy rains, when we noticed our crawl space sump pump wasn't working. I went under the house and figured out it's the outlet not working. (L&I inspector didn't bother to test it either when they inspected the breaker.) I called David, and he says it's out of warranty (one year, never stated anywhere, but he's claims that's the industry standard). So we get another electrician to look at it, and it turns out THE CIRCUIT DOESN'T EVEN CONNECT TO THE OUTLET. From new electricians' invoice: "Circuit was tied into wrong 10/2 wire. 10/2 wire from panel did not go to Junction box." New electricians had to place a whole new wire between box and panel, because there wasn't one! David claims the outlet/circuit must have been tested when installed, but it appears that was simply untrue. Oh, and they overcharged us too. They charged for 3 hours of work, even though they were here for 1.5. David agreed to lower the charge to 2 hours, but he argued that it was industry standard to charge for the time it takes to get to the job. I'm sorry, but it doesn't take 1.5 hours to get from Tenino to Olympia, even if it makes any sense to charge for that time. David even complained that he "took a hit" by reducing the charge. I'd say we took a hit by trusting these guys. Oh, and the electricians we hired to fix their mess only charged for the time they were here, not the "industry standard" David described.
