I also go for the social aspect, chatting with staff is always an element of any coffee run. Woods in Everett covers all of those bases. The seating area is always clean, there is usually seating available and the staff is so friendly. While I have never had a bad experience there, I do want to shout out Paul and Ashley. Paul's warm smile and friendly greeting set the tone for a great experience. I am always so happy when I see him behind the counter. Ashley is another team member who makes my coffee run even better. Always friendly and willing to help me fine tune a drink so it's not too this or too that, she is always patient and kind. This location has a stellar staff, but unfortunately I don't know all of their names. Anyone who helps you will be fabulous. Ashley, thanks for making my Mother's Day special.

They have a regular menu but also a seasonally changing menu of themed drink options that are so fun to try! And getting the works (added cost) gets you the fun toppings of whipped creams, cookies, cakes, candy, whatever else they can fit on the top of your drink. A couple things to note: the drinks take a minute to make, so don't expect to walk or drive up and be on your way in a jiffy. They're also expensive - I got an iced 16oz drink with the works and it was over $10 before tip; not getting the fun toppings might drop your total by $1.50-2 but it's still a pricey visit. That being said, I'm giving 4 stars because once you're prepared for the wait and accept the prices, it's a fun treat and the staff are always friendly. The drinks are hit or miss for me - I'm not the biggest fan of coffee, so I don't care for the drinks that are coffee forward, but I like trying the fun seasonal flavors so I try to go at least once per season.

I've seen a few yelp reviews say this place is a little ummmm pretentious or overhyped, well yes they don't do customizations and they really don't want you on your phones when you order but honestly, their drinks are just worth it I always order their Wiener Schokolade in the smallest size and that's only because I do like the strong taste of the coffee when its smaller and don't want to over indulge (it does get sweeter when you order the larger sizes, and remember what I said about no customization) We also had a croissant, it was fine as an accompaniment but nothing amazing.

And here I go again with more top marks after one visit. They're in one of the smaller huts and they're right next to one of the busier 2-lane stretches you can find around here. Ferry traffic and bedroom-community commuters must flood by here. I pulled in around lunchtime and they still have a customer on the other side--2 baristas, 2 windows. The kid who helped me just radiated warmth and kindness. She's a natural for talking to people. She leaned down and worked herself around in the window to make sure she was seeing and hearing me. There's only so much you can do in a coffee hut to seem super nice and thoughtful, and most people go the super-caffeinated, extra-vivacious route. I dug the change of pace here. Hippie warmth and community vibes, without all the moonbeam sparkles. Anyway, the Americano was just great. Maybe one or two ticks toward the roastier side that so many people love so much, but still in my wheelhouse. Under $5, which seems the standard. It was ready in two shakes of a lamb's tail and I was on my way down to the lighthouse to stare at the misty waters.

From the moment we walked in until the time we left, the entire experience was exceptional. The hospitality was top-notch, and our server, Kim, was incredibly friendly, attentive, and accommodating. When I dine out, it's important that I feel comfortable with my server because I truly believe food should be served with love. On a scale of 1 to 10, Kim was off the charts! Now for the food... I ordered the French toast and requested it extra crispy. It arrived perfectly golden brown, topped with fresh berries and real whipped cream--absolutely delicious! I also had over-medium eggs that were seasoned perfectly, although they were a little closer to over easy than medium. Still, they were very good. The only item that fell a bit short was the chicken sausage, which was average and could have used a little more flavor. My husband ordered the pancakes, and they were delicious. His bacon was cooked to perfection--crispy, flavorful, and not overly salty. Honestly, my only complaint was that I got too full to finish everything! If you're looking for great food, outstanding service, and an all-around wonderful dining experience, I highly recommend giving this hidden gem a try. We'll definitely be back

My wife wanted a lighter breakfast so went with the continental breakfast which came with eggs to order, banana bread, and fruit. The huevos rancheros was very tasty! It's definitely something that I would order again, although I would still like to try the avocado toast as well. At many other tables, I could see traditional breakfast fare such as french toast or pancakes that also looked tasty. My wife gave me a taste of the banana bread and it was delicious! Thick cut like texas toast, and much less dense than homemade banana bread that I am used to. Alas, the server said they might discontinue it, and that they didn't have a recipe but probably ordered it. Shame, now I must find this delicious banana bread!
