My daughter and I woke up with very sore throats and came here for strep tests. They saw us quickly, everyone was friendly and we were checked out for all the various bugs going around. We got our results quickly and were on our way. I really appreciate that they saw us both in the same exam room. I wasn't quite sure how that would work as we both needed to be seen, but they basically did our exams at the same time and it couldn't have gone smoother. read more

I went to the Joliet Emediate Cure on many recommendations and will continue to go there for care. From the time I entered I was greeted by a friendly receptionist who had a smile the whole time. My wait was very short maybe 10 minutes and was called back by again a friendly person who talked and laughed with me. The doctor was also a very nice and down to earth person who explained everything to me. It is so nice when you are not feeling well to have people like the ones at this location to work with you. DO NOT GRANT THEM ACCESS TO YOUR ACCOUNT. I had an awful experience here. I had been going there off and on for a couple years for small stuff. They take down your insurance and a card for copays. Well I had gone there back in December for some treatment and incurred a bill. In March I filled bankruptcy due to massive medical and credit debt due to past injuries. The debt was stayed and fully discharged. As of a week and a half ago I was billed for the very first time for the visit in December. Insurance was not run on the account, which was valid and has been for two years. Without proper time, because it was a weekend or an ability to contact their billing department, they drained my entire bank account on a Sunday afternoon. They took as much as they could until they ran the account to ZERO. This event left me with no money for two weeks. I was even unable to put gas in my car. I was unable to contact them until the following Monday. After a long heated conversation on the phone they were unwilling to pay back the money without setting up a payment plan. That's when I informed them of the bankruptcy. They told me that they didn't know about it but at the same time they never billed me for over 8 months later. It is now two weeks later and they have not paid back the money they illegally took. I had to have an attorney contact them. My attorney has now informed me I have to wait for a check, which I guess is acceptable for now. Still however it will be over two weeks to be paid opposed to the two days they gave me. Ive struggle now for two weeks and have had to cancel other medical testing that I had scheduled due to the fact I could not pay for it. I do not recommend this place but if you still choose to go there do not leave a card on file. read more

They've always taken great care of us. They are a small establishment, and there are just so many hours in the day. They do fill up quickly but they're always compassionate and professional. They always call to check to see how I'm feeling a few days later. read more

Went in five minutes before my appointment time. I was back in a room at my appointment time after filling out paperwork. I was here for a rapid COVID test. Waited the stated 15 minutes for results. Do not go to this location, the Hispanic receptionist was really rude to my (Hispanic mother) spoke to her in Spanish on the phone and then stated she didn't speak Spanish and she had to wait until everyone in the lobby was taken back before she only paid her bill. My mother sat and the young women decided to say to her co worker "stupid Mexican people" expecting that my mother wouldn't hear. Unbelievable, and unacceptable behavior and when my mother asked to speak the the manager, she replied "I don't want to get the manager, no" so I had to leave work and come get her bill paid. Nobody come to this location much less if you're a minority. This experience was horrible and I don't ever recommend this place to anyone; nor will I ever come here ever again. read more

My nephew went for a Covid test tonight after waiting all day for his number to come up (he was 50+ in line). When he got there he was horrified to see a waiting room full of people waiting for Covid tests. He had to wait another 45 minutes before his name was called. He was already stressed about Covid, his test was negative, and now he has to worry that he got Covid in the waiting room of this doctors office! They should at least let you wait in your car until called like other places. Horrible protocol, unsafe, avoid this place! read more

Easy to schedule appointment and got right in at designated time. In and out within 20 minutes. Would highly recommend. Being able to have the "save your spot" feature is a lifesaver, especially with children! read more

Receptionist were kind- HOWEVER, the medical staff in the back is horrible. As a woman of color I am so use to going to medical facilities and they don't listen to me as the patient and what I'm feeling and want, they treat me like I'm a case study and try to gaslight me often- I left my visit not only mentally frustrated but also disgusted. The woman who did my intake barely listened to me then claimed I gave her too much information at once, when active listening is a part of your role you're supposed to keep up with what's being said- especially if the person is taking their time to explain their symptoms and giving dates and times that are specific to when they noticed these issues- how do I know? I'm a medical professional who does intake and actively listens and ask questions for clarity with an open mind- she even made a smart comment in the process that rubbed me the wrong way. The doctor wasn't too helpful to me either, she was kind but again, all she wanted to do was go by her textbook as opposed to listening to me- the patient especially when I told her I've experienced these symptoms/issues before and it goes back to "xyz", she still goes on tangents further scaring me and trying to prescribe medication when clearly this is a situation that shouldn't be given just anything. I was fought about asking for blood work then the answer was "sure we'll do it but you may be charged"- when the girl came to do my blood work (same one from the intake- she wasn't even able to listen to me properly and you want her to take my blood?? With a needle??) she couldn't wash her hands in room due to no sinks (which ew, are you not a medical facility that deals with sicknesses?) , but she didn't even bother to use hand sanitizer, just put gloves on then left the room, touching the door handle with her those same gloves expecting to come in and presume like she just touch unsanitary touch points with the gloves she was getting ready to use. 1/10. Disgusting, and not empathetic. Dont recommend. read more

Great service! My PCP did not have any availability until next month so i came into this clinic for my swollen, infected lump in my underarm and i was takin' care off right away. NP's are very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. NP Beth even took out the cyst in my underarm that was bothering me for almost 2yrs now that my PCP failed to care for. Will definitely come back here for any urgent care needs. I highly recommend this place for quick care needs. read more

Do not go here to test for Covid-19. I got tested on Friday and was told I would get my results most likely on Sunday but definitely on Monday at the latest. It is Thursday evening and I still have not received my results. Every time I have called to try and solve this problem I have received nothing but attitude and have been told that I need to be patient, though I cannot return to work until I get these results. I could have been tested several times by now had I been told the actual time frame instead of "2-3 days," but other places will not allow me to get a new test since I have already been tested. I know it is not their fault that the results are taking so long, but they were not honest about the time it would take and the customer service has been awful. read more

ABOVE AND BEYOND..... how I can start the staff the physicians are amazing I was having a issues with pre certification for surgery for my son could not get any one to do the covid test I needed an not the fast one I was under a deadline and they got it a day early an took the time to text me and fax to the surgeon. they also had the kindness to wish us luck on my sons surgery..a thoughtful well run clinic and thank u again and again. read more

Definitely not the place to go for a walk-in drug screen. I had an order from my employer specific to this location, so I could not go anywhere else. The wait times they post seem to only be accurate AFTER they have a bunch of patients lined up in the waiting room. My wait time increased with every person that walked in. Thus, if you arrive as a walk-in with 1 other person in the waiting room like me, the wait time is not accurate, and be prepared to wait over an hour behind all the people that come into the office after you at their respective appointment times. It's all in the luck of your timing when other "appointments" arrive. Waited well over an hour to spend a total of 5 minutes performing the drug screen. On the bright side, the employees were very nice and pleasant! But, their workflow could use an adjustment. All of these appointments completely defeats the purpose of a quick care facility. read more
