Came in here for a drug screen not even 5 mins in the receptionist was being a straight bit** with an attitude, she's an older woman with glasses. After me, came in a Mexican guy that couldn't speck well English I wished I could help but I couldn't, but the way she was talking to him was just straight up rude and not professional. Flu season is back, so I went to my closest Physicians Immediate Care for a flu test and after I checked in and waited for 30 minutes, they told everyone they were only doing Telehealth from then on because all of the doctors had to leave early?? This seems extremely unprofessional. There were at least six other people that were waiting here before me that got sent home. Absolutely ridiculous. And I had to wait an additional HOUR to get an appointment with a doctor via telehealth. Absolutely would NOT recommend this place if you're sick. Go anywhere else, seriously. You make an appointment during the day. Show up 7 mins early to appointment time. Check in. Then wait In a room for 60 mins. Then go ask how much longer, they say 10 mins tops. At 82 mins still not a soul to be seen. For a minute I thought they locked up and left me inside all alone. Then the Doctor comes in and just gives a prescription without even looking at me! UGH. This is the second visit. The first visit I was turned away even though I had an appointment AND insurance ( but due to it being a " third party " injury ) they waited until I got there IN EXTREME PAIN to tell me they wouldn't see me. I told them about the insurance when I made the appointment, so why didn't they tell me that? Second appointment was for my son. He needed diagnosis for a probable sinus infection. This was the closest quick care facility. I looked online to schedule an appointment early in the morning. They supposedly open at 8am. The first available appointment was at 8:30am, so I figured someone else has taken that spot. We arrived about 8:15... ghost town? As I filled out paperwork the staff was barely getting the place open. The first front desk woman was unfriendly...and the other kept sniffling while she remained on her cell phone texting the entire visit. 2 stars only because when I had to ASK for the Dr to tell me what the MINOR was diagnosed with etc he was professional. Husband went there as a walk in because of an earache...was told to come back in 2-1/2 hours to be seen. Why would you be a walk-in clinic if you cannot see patients when they walk in. We won't go back. read more

My son took a fall and needed an x-ray. We couldn't get into the our primary before closing time so we went here. Our initial first visit was okay. We were told to follow up in a week, our follow-up visit was NOT okay. The doctor came in reading from a book about the kind of fracture he had, took his splint off, squeezed the area where the fracture is and asked if it hurt. You should have seen the pain in my sons face. Then proceed to tell him to bend his arms in various ways, again in a lot pain. Then said he was good to go! He didn't need the splint anymore, even though he could barely move his arm. I then asked, shouldn't he be x-rayed again? Per advice from a x-ray tech in my family very familiar with the kind of fracture he had, he should be x-rayed again after a week, this is normal protocol. She then read from her book in front of us again and said, "yea maybe we should". He was x-rayed again and while I thought the doctor would go over the x-ray with me, she came in said "Everything looks the same" and shooed us out. My son even said to me, shouldn't she have said it looks better? I also had to ask multiple times for notes for school for him. We were the only people in the facility, there was no reason to rush the consult. I left feeling very uncomfortable and called his primary right away. They made an appointment for us right away, looked at his x-rays and told us he needed to be to put back in a soft cast until he saw an pediatric orthopedic specialist. He is now in a hard cast for a couple more weeks. I guess for a quick consult for a cold this place would be okay, but the staff has no place diagnosing what should be done or not done in their case with broken bones!! read more

Friendly, caring and professional. This new quick care is impressive. Lucy was super, and knowledgable, She treated us like family. This is a beautiful building with a cafe. But I will come for the care they give. We live very close, in a retirement community behind this area so we can walk there. We are lucky to have them! read more

Super fast, and professional. My daughter had a severe migraine and couldn't get in to see her primary care physician. Instead of spending the entire day at the emergency room we decided to come here. They took care of her quickly and with a great deal of compassion even though she was new to them. That says a great deal about them. The only downside that I can see, is if she had needed IV medicine they wouldn't have been able to treat her. Aside from that I would definitely recommend this facility. read more

Had an 8:50 am appt. We checked in from our car as instructed. At 9:25 I decided to call to find out how much longer we would need to wait. I was not successful getting anyone on the phone. Was on hold for 5 minutes. I hang up and go inside and the front desk clerk is looking at her cell phone. I thought it was odd because I was on hold for 5 minutes and no one answered the call. I asked how much longer the wait would be. I informed her we've been waiting in the car for 45 minutes. She proceeds to put her phone down and look at her computer and say that rooms are opening soon. She said they are a walk in and had a trauma. This facility doesn't look like they can handle trauma. So I went back to my car. Fifteen more minutes go by. I go back in and inform her it's been an hour! How much longer, she says even though we had an appt, it's also a walk in facility. I said then maybe we should have walked in. Seems pointless to make an appt. She couldn't answer my question to let me know how much longer the wait would be. Instead she said I can cancel your appointment. I said please do. I won't return. There are plenty of walk in clinics just a few more miles up the road. Do yourself a favor and go the extra mile and drive past this facility. Don't bother making an appointment because they take walks ins first! If I could rate this place a zero I would! This place clearly takes advantage of lost patients that are in the wrong place. When a patient has Edwards insurance and comes there, you should direct them to Edwards...across the parking lot! Rude staff with a "know it all attitude". Word to the wise...walk across the parking lot and go to Edwards! read more

Dr Talamayan is the go to Doctor. Every time we have needed care we are always quick to get in. The wait time screens in the lobby. Knowing how much time before the dr sees you is a plus. The chairs are comfortable in the waiting area, which is good if you're not the patient! It's he most economical way to receive care. read more

Clean place with great staff. Everyone I talked too was nice, reassuring, and made sure I understood everything. I put things off longer than I should and am 'iffy' when it comes to going to any sort of check-up, and this place made me feel comfortable going back there again. Parents need to know about Physicians Immediate Care's Urgent Care policy re: consent to treat of a minor. I was told they do not treat minors without a parent or legal guardian. We were then advised by Mara (front desk clerk) and by the nurse it is their right to refuse treatment if the provider is not comfortable providing treatment and / or with the age of the person given consent for a minor. They also require parents ID with consent to treat. Mara mentioned that there would be some issue regarding Hippa as well. On Feb 12, 2018, my daughter (age 21) took my 14 yr. old in with a 102 fever. She had her ID, our medical card and letter of consent. We were advised of the policy and told we could try another urgent care or the ER. Mari and the nurse were rude and treated my daughter disrespectfully. This is very disconcerting that an Urgent Care would refuse treatment to a sick child due to the adult's age who has written consent. They went a 1/2 block away to Edward-Elmhurst Walk-In Clinic @ 16519 S Route 59 where they accepted the written consent and she was treated. They were willing to help and treated them respectfully. I was here a couple of weeks ago with my husband (his visit, not mine). We totally forgot this place was here! We noticed it driving by to go somewhere else and decided to go here instead of a further immediate care. I'm glad we stopped! This place is really nice! We were greeted and taken care of rather promptly (again, my husband, not me). Carol was super nice! My husband commented on how kind she was too, and he rarely reinforces my observations! :) Whenever the time comes, we feel comfortable coming to this location! read more

I was charged $360 for a sinus infection. I could've went to Walgreens and paid a third of the price I was not given any pricing when I got there the receptionist was very rude. Go anywhere but here unless you want to pay a fortune to be treated poorly. read more
