Recently purchased new rims and tires for my truck and the tire guy Bubba went above and beyond to get me what I wanted and for a GREAT price! I was very disappointed tonight and I always recommended people your way. This evening a young high schooler locked her keys in her car and was very distraught and I recommended she call y'all because you are the nicest towing company I know. She had twenty dollars in her pocket and her parents went out of town and she expressed this to one of your drivers and he simply turned her down and tried to charge her 65 dollars. And told her no one would help her for twenty dollars to call back after she requested MORE money from family or friends. Her friend saw a wrecker pull into whataburger and she drove all the way from Gringos to go see if he could help them. Of course not even five minutes later he comes to the rescue of these girls. Run from this place, as a Uber driver I get to sometimes see life from another's viewpoint on this particular day I picked up a rider she had been in a accident with a rental car & had spent the night in the hospital she was tired sore and had already been through hell and back, I drove her out to this place EMC towing, over 35 miles away, in New Caney, she'd asked me to wait she just wanted to get her stuff out of the car so I said ok, And went into the place to use the bathroom as she went into the place at first she was ignored for a good 7 minutes and then when a guy came to the counter he gave her all kinds of hell about he couldn't let take her stuff because she had no car rental agreement and he made no attempt to call the car rental place either long story short I had to take the woman back to the IAH to get a copy of the rental agreement at which time the rental car agent told her that EMC shouldn't have required the rental agreement the car was totaled and the they could have simply called to verify her I.D. But what worse of all I was left to wonder were they treating her this way because she was a lesbian or was it because she was black or maybe both I don't know but it was evident from my viewpoint there was a underlying dislike of this lady, and the way they glared at her. read more

My son got into an accident and EMC towed his vehicle. We got his vehicle about two days later. The insurance company had to send another tow truck to EMC to get it to my home. We made it to EMC before the tow truck and paid to retrieve the vehicle but the tow truck got lost and took over an hour to get to EMC. The owner/operator or who ever he was called my phone and was rude and basically threatened to have his staff leave because it was taking too long for someone to come and get my son's vehicle. I could not believe how unprofessional he was. He also said that he would charge me for another day after we had just paid $315 to get the vehicle. Was it my fault that the tow truck in which the insurance company was responsible for sending got lost? No, it was not our fault because the tow driver told us approximately what time he would be arriving so we assumed he would get there at that time. The EMC guy was more concerned about sending his employee home who was doing nothing but waiting rather than show courtesy to customers and when I called him back to discuss how unprofessional he was he hung up in my face. Now this is the same company who told me over the phone that my son's vehicle wasn't drive-able or repairable and explained the process for turning the title over to them. We got the vehicle home, my uncle came over the next day, started the vehicle and drove it around the neighborhood with no problems. Not only did my son's car crank up immediately but was drive-able with no problems. All the vehicle needs is a little cosmetic work because only one side was damaged. EMC led us to believe it was totaled which was inaccurate. EMC should not have towed his truck to begin with. They ripped us off and almost took his truck because we were contemplating leaving it there thinking it was irreparable due to what EMC told me over the phone. I am totally disgusted with EMC and want the public to beware of their practices. We spent unnecessary money dealing with EMC. The individual with EMC who towed his truck took advantage of my young inexperienced son and did not allow my son to try to drive his truck home. The tow driver with EMC convinced him to believe that it was totaled and took it upon himself to take the truck to the lot because all they were concerned about was making money and using innocent people. I will never use their services in the future. I advise anyone to think twice before letting them handle your vehicle. EMC employees could use some training in professionalism. I used to go to a body shop down the street on FM1485 @ Loop 494 to get my car's safety inspection done because my grandpa was good friends with the owner, but they were always rude and slow, even when the owner saw me and we chatted. You'd think you'd get decent service from a place where you actually know the owner, but not with that shop. Finally one day I had enough and left then I ran across a sign for EMC. Ever since I now only go to EMC. They have always been friendly, and even when they are busy they run such a professional and efficient shop that the wait is never unbearably long. I had a pretty bad wreck one day and their wrecker ended up towing my totaled Lincoln to their lot; I stopped by a few days later to gather some personal things from the car and the driver recognized me and asked how I was feeling and told his co-worker who I was. The guy's co-worker asked how I was doing. I could tell they actually cared and weren't just making conversation. I don't think they'll ever give me a reason to go someplace else.
