She straightened my hair but when it was time to cut, i was asked to stand for the hair cut... which iv never been asked to do before. Another older women was getting her hair done and she even asked why i was standing? the owner walked by and said because i have long hair ( it was middle of my back.) Day after the cut ic after i straighten it, its uneven. Yup i wont be back... so done and $30 for the cut... nope. Not worth the money. My stylist wasn't talkative and she would ask me questions for small chit chat but it would end when i answered the question. Blah. Older post: They do a great job at taking appointments and checking to see if your still coming. However the last 2 times i got my hair done i left with neck pain that lasted for weeks. They pull my hair too rough while in the sink. I dont think i will be back because they are too rough.

When I made a follow-up appointment to come back, I asked her if perhaps I should make the appointment with the other stylist and she said no she could handle it. As she started to cut my hair, I asked again, if perhaps her the other stylist shouldn't be consulted. She said no she could handle it. The results: I am either going to have to wear scarfs/hats or get a wig. She said she only cut a half and inch, but my hair has no style. I have never had such a bad haircut in my entire life. She should not be allowed to cut and style hair. How she ever got licensed is beyond my comprehension.

I always go to Erin, after visiting here from NY and Boston she's the only person I trust with my hair outside of the north east. She never cuts it too short (seriously, that makes me cry!) and she is able to add character and movement to my hair without taking too much length off. She's great at following directions! I haven't had coloring done here yet, but wow the photos they put on their FB page are amazing, so when I finally get the guts to do it I'll have my coloring done here. I would give this a 4.5 star rating for the following reasons: Isabelle was my stylist and instantly I recognized she knew what she was doing. She didn't have to explain everything she was doing and she didn't keep talking about her skills, she simply went to work. We looked at magazines to get a color scheme, and I explained what bothered me about my last haircut- and she handled the rest. I always am eager to see if a stylist can blow dry my hair smooth and straight without the assistance of a flat iron- which can be tricky with my wacky hair texture- and Isabelle delivered. Near the end, her next client showed up and yet she didn't rush through our appointment. The woman waiting (who had very long, thick curly hair) even said, "Take your time. I'd rather wait for her than let anyone else touch my hair" which was comforting. I know a hair cut can be hit or miss depending on what you're looking for and how well a stylist can execute the look. While my haircut isn't ideal (mostly due to the fact that my previous hair cut really botched my hair), I can tell the skill set is there for future cuts and colors. And price wise, I thought it was very reasonable. I got a full-head of highlights and lowlights, toner, cut and style and it came to 170.00. I've paid more than that in JAX for partial highlights and a cut. I know it's still a lot of money, but in the end, a good haircut can be worth every penny. Also, I wanted to say I went to their location at 413 Western Blvd,. I'm not sure if they moved or have two locations, but I cannot comment on the Country Club address location.
