Obviously the office manager doesn't care training these employees for how to properly answer the phone or how to even give right information I'm a medical assistant and even I know this is not how to operate a medical clinic very unprofessional especially front office girls! Update: it just keeps getting worse so when I made the appointment she told me Dec 7th I'm looking at the app they have it's called providence it tells me there that my appointment is on the dec 14th like really Maria why would you tell me Dec 7th like I said these girls don't know what they doing and when I called and confirmed she said oh yea it's Dec 14th what a dumbass I swear ‍

I unfortunately had to have a c-section which wasn't in my birth plan but the midwife was very supportive and reassuring. The only complaint I have was that my mental health didn't seem to be taken as seriously as my physical health. I had over 4 scheduled appointments to talk to the counselor and was finally seen a week before giving birth. I'm sure this is due to the amount on panicked mamas during this pandemic though so I'm not too offended by it.

From prenatal care through birth and postpartum, I always felt deeply supported, respected, and empowered. My birth ended up being a beautiful home water birth at 41 weeks 6 days. Labor moved quickly, and their calm presence allowed me to fully trust my body and surrender to the process. They created an environment that felt safe, grounded, and truly sacred. Our son was born partially en caul -- his head still veiled in the amniotic sac -- which was such a rare and awe-inspiring moment. The team handled everything with such skill, reverence, and calm. Watching them work reminded me how powerful and natural birth can be when you are surrounded by experienced, supportive care. They were attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable without being controlling, and truly honored the physiology of birth. After baby arrived, they continued to provide incredible care, making sure both baby and I were doing well and helping our whole family transition into those first precious hours. Choosing LaReina was one of the best decisions we made for our family, and I cannot recommend High Desert Birth Services enough to anyone seeking a safe, respectful, and empowering birth experience. We will always be grateful for the role they played in bringing our son into the world.

She was referred to me from a friend, yet I still did my own research and interviewed a few other midwives before committing and I felt like she was the best fit. Each prenatal visit was at least an hour long - she gave me time to ask my questions and never made me feel silly or brushed me off. Having no previous exposure to a home birth, I had a lot of questions yet she answered them all gracefully and in great detail - giving my the confidence I needed to believe in myself that I could do this and that it is safe. Also included in the package was a prenatal massage around 36 weeks and when I tell you it was the best massage in my life - you have to believe me! It was amazing! That hour flew by and I was ready to book another one When I went into labor, I waited until almost the last minute to tell anyone, just to be sure it was the real thing. Well, it was the real thing and it was go time by the time my husband got home from work and Heather arrived. But she didn't waste any time, she jumped in and gave me the encouragement and reassurance I needed to get through transition and birth my baby girl. She was so amazing and was not afraid to get her hands dirty. My 3 year old was there and Heather included her in everything and never pushed her out of the way. Even though I was almost pushing as she walked through the door, she still handled everything with such a calmness and peacefulness that it made that crazy intense last part of birth go so perfectly. If I decide to have baby number 3, a home birth will definitely be my preferred route and Heather would be at the top of my list of midwives (but I would give a longer heads up next time ).

Even one of the receptionist, when we notified her, went off on the nurses in the back wondering why they never called us and we were first on the list. Not only that but the nurses were making us feel uncomfortable asking my wife if she did drugs and when she said know her and another nurse just looked at each other and smiled. She was treating my wife like she was incompetent asking her the same questions slowly and slower each time. The professionalism of this place needs to be reevaluated and I'm not the only one who feels this way. There's other pregnant women in the office being neglected

I did a review…read morebefore and spoke about his weirdness when he called my less than 1 year old daughter "sexy" and on how out of all the times I went in to see him, only ever seen him less than a few times which didn't make me feel at ease. Anywho, the end of my pregnancy was crazy and the last time I saw him was when he barely glimpsed at me at the hospital and how awkward it had felt. I know for a fact that him/his staff saw my review because about three to two weeks before I had given birth, I got a phone call from his office and even a private call that was blocked from them telling me how I couldn't come in to my appointment anymore with my child. Instead of him apologizing or even saying anything about his "sexy" comment about my child, I get told that I cannot bring her in with me or I can't go to my appointments anymore. The lady at the reception on the call literally even mentioned that it was because of my review. That was so weird and honestly after that phone call and the next two appointments, I had no intention of coming back. I could tell and feel when he saw me in the hospital that the vibes were off and he sounded short with me as if I was in the wrong. What grown adult man calls a minor child sexy?! I'm definitely not in the wrong for that. Anywho, to anyone that reads this, steer clear of him. Everyone else there is nice but he is a fake as it gets in my opinion. Additionally, when I went to an appointment I had for NSTs, I met a woman who also dealt with Ahmadinia. She mentioned that when she went he was rude and off putting with her as well and very short and this was based off of about two appointments she had had with him. She was early enough in her pregnancy to get to change OBGYNs luckily but I was too late into mine that I didn't want to risk having to search for another. Anywho, be that as it may, he's not all he is cracked up to be and I think there's way better OBs than him. He may have up to date equipment and be in a better area but he is not someone I'd recommend whatsoever. That staff totally saves it for him. He's just a plain old creep imo.

Dr. Prakash was my doctor through that experience, and later for my second child as well. I will never forget the level of care, compassion, and professionalism he showed me. What stood out most was how he treated me as a person. He never made me feel judged or ashamed for being so young. Instead, he made me feel supported, respected, and safe. At that time, I didn't always have reliable transportation, and there were days I was late or struggled to get to my appointments. Dr. Prakash would actually stay late so I could still be seen once I found a ride. That level of understanding and dedication meant everything to me. That kind of care is rare. Both of my children are now grown and healthy, and I truly believe the care I received played a big role in that. Years later, he also cared for my grandchildren, which speaks volumes about the trust I have in him and the consistency of his care over time. Even now, I still remember how kind and attentive he was. He didn't just do his job, he made a lasting impact during a critical time in my life. If you are looking for a doctor who is not only highly skilled but also genuinely compassionate, Dr. Prakash is exceptional.

From the moment we…read morewalked into his clinic, it was clear his equipment was outdated--but we never imagined how dangerous that would be. During a critical ultrasound, Dr. Villarosa used what looked like a decades-old machine that struggled to show anything clearly. He barely spent thirty seconds scanning before saying bluntly, "There's no fetus, no sac." Without any follow-up, no additional testing, and no second look, he told us it must be a miscarriage. Then, with zero empathy, he asked my wife if we'd prefer to "scrape it out" or take medication. Yes--he literally used the word "scrape." That's how casually he dismissed what could have been a viable pregnancy. He then told my wife to wipe herself off--like the whole thing was routine and insignificant. The coldness, the carelessness, and the outdated tools combined into one of the most horrifying experiences we've ever had. It felt like our baby's life didn't matter. We went to get a transvaginal ultra sound at a facility at st Mary's and luckily found that the fetus had a heart beat and is healthy. This is not medical care--it's malpractice waiting to happen. Avoid Dr. Villarosa at all costs. If you're already under his care, get a second opinion immediately. How many kids has this guy killed???
