I was venting to her about how I just had my…read morebaby 2 days ago (at the time) and was having trouble knowing if he was breastfeeding correctly. I was damn near in tears texting her that I wanted to give up trying because I felt like I was not adequate enough for him. I was so distraught over him not using the restroom enough at 2 days old and him losing weight; I just knew something was wrong. She quickly referred me to Kari. I emailed and texted Kari desperate to get any sort of help and she went above and beyond! She texted me and e-mailed me back immediately. She was so kind and caring even through text and e-mail. She said she could come that same day and sure enough, she did. As soon as she arrived to my house she was instantly helpful. I was a mess, postpartum and just so emotional about my baby not using the restroom enough and him looking thin. Sure enough, Kari evaluated him, weighed him, and then asked me key questions. I could tell instantly she had a genuine passion for this and cared! She calmed me down and reassured me that we would figure things out and get to the bottom of it. After having a session with her, she discovered that my baby was not latching correctly and that my milk supply had still had not fully come in. So it made sense as to why he was fussy and not using the restroom enough- he was not getting enough. She reassured me again that we would work on this together and that I would be able to breastfeed my baby. She gave me so much information and even after she left, she would text me to check on baby and I. I even sent her pictures asking for her opinion and advice on certain things. Kari texted me right away and was very detailed. My milk supply did come in and thanks to her my now 1 month old baby is eating sooooo good and his pediatrician was impressed with how the breastfeeding is going. He has since, gained his healthy weight that the pediatrician wanted to see and is less fussy. I do not know what I would have done without Kari. She is truly a gem! I HIGHLY recommend her and wish more people would utilize her, that way they will not give up on breastfeeding their babies. I would have paid any price at that vulnerable point, so let me mention that Kari has very good prices! It is rare to find someone so knowledgeable, caring, attentive, and charges very good prices. If you are even thinking about learning more about breastfeeding, having trouble breastfeeding, curious about breastfeeding, and/or know someone who is expecting or going through anything above, contact Kari! Stacy is Amazing! I first seeked her help to confirm my suspension of baby girl having a lip tie…read more She's was able to do home visits, which is so convenient for me as I'm home alone most days and taking her outside can be troublesome. She was very accommodating with scheduling too! After evaluation, she diagnosed my baby girl with lip tie and possibly a tounge tie. She showed me some exercises I can do daily to help with her oral functions and body tension. Shes suggested some dentists that shes seen procedure success in. She advised that its up to me if I want to do the lip tie procedure, and that oral exercises will need to be done after procedure so getting her use to exercises is important. And sometimes the exercises can significantly improve without needing the procedure. Shes also suggested nipple types I can try to help her latch better. Overall, after 3 sessions, baby girl has minimal clicking, better latch and slightly stronger tounge. Im still on the fence with the procedure, i know sooner the better, but if she continues to improve, I may forgo the procedure. Let's hope her 4 month regression does not undo all our hard work. I will revisit Stacy when baby girl starts solids.

I am very sorry to say that I had a very bad experience with the midwife Jade, the appointments…read morewhile I was pregnant were very good but the day I went into labor I was not given the inflatable pool that I requested several weeks ago, due to that there was also another pregnant woman and they only have one pool, they do not have enough supplies to care for more than one pregnancy at the same time, which can happen at any time, apart from the entire time I was in labor, the other two midwives that were there in the birth center they were coming to see me for a few seconds and then they went to sit down and staring at their cell phones for all the time that I was screaming due to the contractions. Jade was attending to the other pregnant woman, therefore nobody attended me properly, I was there alone in labor with my husband by my side who was nervous, also the other two midwives gave us indications that contradicted each other, one told me that it was time to push, then another came and told me not to push yet, my cervix was not fully dilated, so they gave me some diluted herbs that were supposed to help me open my cervix, but the only thing that those herbs caused me was that my contractions are more painful and that my baby get stressed, due to lack of attention on the most important day I ended up going to the hospital with my husband.
