Our experience with Dr. Villarosa was deeply traumatic and borderline reckless. From the moment we walked into his clinic, it was clear his equipment was outdated--but we never imagined how dangerous that would be. During a critical ultrasound, Dr. Villarosa used what looked like a decades-old machine that struggled to show anything clearly. He barely spent thirty seconds scanning before saying bluntly, "There's no fetus, no sac." Without any follow-up, no additional testing, and no second look, he told us it must be a miscarriage. Then, with zero empathy, he asked my wife if we'd prefer to "scrape it out" or take medication. Yes--he literally used the word "scrape." That's how casually he dismissed what could have been a viable pregnancy. He then told my wife to wipe herself off--like the whole thing was routine and insignificant. The coldness, the carelessness, and the outdated tools combined into one of the most horrifying experiences we've ever had. It felt like our baby's life didn't matter. We went to get a transvaginal ultra sound at a facility at st Mary's and luckily found that the fetus had a heart beat and is healthy. This is not medical care--it's malpractice waiting to happen. Avoid Dr. Villarosa at all costs. If you're already under his care, get a second opinion immediately. How many kids has this guy killed??? read more

He tied my tubes 2 years ago, was never scheduled for a follow up, no big deal, im fine, surgery went well. But, i went to him a month ago for lab work, still do not know my results. Ive called several times and have been promised a call back. Still nothing. read more

I love Dr Villarosa great Dr he always listened to what I needed when I was pregnant and not pregnant. He even even helped us to get pregnant with our daughter yes he is a little strong well but he is professional and understanding and gets what we needs to be done. He is always asking questions so he can get to the bottom of our cause. I highly recommend him, yes sometimes I did have to wait a little, because mind you he was delivering babies so I had to wait a period of time which is very understandable because he is Delivering BABIES remember you are not the only one having a child as a Dr that shows me he treats everyone equally and he love delivering babies so its kind of hard to jugle both I never minded waiting for him because I rather be patient and wait for a Dr that cares and can get clinical treated correctly unlike others Drs. Like Dr Ahmadinia. Dr Ahmadinia keap doing Vaginal biopsies which was not needed after knowing that I had a negative result for cancer he is one crazy dr I think dr Ahmadinia was just trying to make a quick buck and not care about people like Dr Veillrosa he really wants the best for you in your pregnancy and as a women with women problems because I just recently seen him again just for my women issues not babies and he attended to me like he always has since I first met him so thank you for giving us our miracle baby because with out you we wouldn't have our beautiful baby girl and he is very quick on responding to you through phone as well so I would not look at that second review ooh my delivery with Dr. Villarosa was so amazing unlike my other 2 births I wish I new him in the past because I really feel like my deliveries would of been just as wonderful as our miracle baby that he gave us I still commend him for that THANK YOU THANK YOU you are a blessing to our family sorry for the big novel but this man-dr needs recognition I would write a book about how good of a Dr he is and the girls like Michelle in front are very sweet and professional love them 2. read more

My last ob/ gyn was the actual dr who birthed me and was my dr my whole life, so having to find a new one was difficult, but this one has been amazing so far. I haven't actually met the dr yet (I'm not having a baby or anything so I'm not too concerned with not meeting him yet) and I have only been twice. The PA, who helped me both visits, was so nice and informative. I had let her know that breast cancer runs in my family pretty heavy and with previous drs they have always dismissed my concerns because I was "too young", but she let me know about all the test that I can take to know if I have the gene for it, how to check myself monthly, and exactly what to feel for. At the end of my appointment I was just thrilled that my concerns were actually answered and being taken seriously. read more

Please DO NOT go here for the sake of your well-being! Let me start off by expressing the worst part of my experience here. THE NURSE READ MY PREGNANCY TEST WRONG. At the end of September, I went in for a colposcopy, which they must take a urinary pregnancy test prior to the biopsy. The nurse read the test as negative, as she and Dr Daniel Villarosa proceeded with the biopsy. ...Afterwards while getting dressed, my boyfriend and I saw that the pregnancy test had a faint second line. He went to go alert them, but was left with a rude, "It was negative. We know what we're doing." I asked them to come double-check. They refused to bother or re-test since they were "professionals." Well...here I am now almost seven weeks PREGNANT. I also find Dr. Villarosa very unprofessional for other reasons: answering cell phone calls in the middle of explaining procedures, texting while I was talking, and just appeared disinterested in his job overall. The nurse talked in a very condescending manner, as if I had no idea what protection was. In my opinion, their rooms were dirty with outdated equipment. If you ask me, they couldn't give a damn about their patients. I am no longer a patient of theirs and feel obligated to alert the community to prevent any possible malpractice. read more

Office clean, dr not soo good. Billing terrible. They were not supposed to charge for prenatal visits as this was stated in my insurance. Well these ppl charged me for prenatal visits and they quoted the visits as special visits so i had to pay. I left this office and changed dr's last week and i finally after 3 months i received a call today from billing telling me they figured out my reimbursement. Out of $120 i paid, they are refunding me $30. So where is the other $90? I was told some BS the rest of the $ was for being a new patience and send my ppwork i have no idea where. I never signed anything that said this. Legally this is wrong. How are these prenatal visits charged? No clue!!!!Overall terrible experience and u dont want that specially when you are new to the city and pregnant and trying to find a good dr here.... read more

After seeing the quacks at the beautiful Victorville ER, it was a relief to see and speak with a doctor that actually listened to me and cared. The office was nice and clean, the staff friendly, and the doctor was very helpful to our questions and very informative. I always have the best experience every appt. the staff is super friendly, the dr seems to always be on time longest wait I've ever had was maybe 30 mins and that's including me signing in and in the room. He is very knowledgeable and answers all questions in your appt. I've worked in many dr offices and they are very strict on only discussing 3 things at each appt and it will last 15 mins, not with villarosa he likes to answer all your questions! I was afraid going to my appointment because of these reviews, because I was referred to him by my primary doctor. My appointment was the first of the morning. ALL the girls/staff that helped me were very polite: from the front window/check-in, to my vitals being taken and questions about medical history and medications, even the lady who came into the room to give the doctor the results from my primary doctor by fax. ALL the girls made me feel welcome with their hellos and smiles. Now to the doctor: Dr. Villarosa was AMAZING! He quickly came into the room after the nurse and I did. He shook my hand because it was my first time meeting him. My husband accompanied me to my appointment, because again I was afraid plus anxious about why I was there. Dr. Villarosa was very polite and comforting to both me and my husband. He was very thorough in asking me about my past health in regards to why I was there. VERY informative about what can be done in my situation. Gave me options and did not push me one way or another, everything was up to me. He did not rush through my appointment, he actually LISTENED TO ME, which is very important to me. Before wrapping up, he asked us if we had any questions about any of the procedures discussed, but I didn't have any because he was very thoughtful and thorough. At the front desk again I was treated kindly and wished a good day. On our way to the car, my husband told me that he was a very good doctor. I agreed, I said he was very nice and informative. My husband said that wasn't what he meant, he noticed his medical degrees on the wall and the medical school Dr. Villarosa attended. I will say the doctor is VERY WELL QUALIFIED. I am looking forward to my next appointment, because I know that I am in good hands. read more

The staff is friendly and puts you at ease. And Dr. Villarosa is phenomenal. He is very personable, likes to educate, and answers any and all questions. He is knowledgeable and I trust him. Dr. Villarosa is very incompetent in my opinion. I delivered my first baby with him in 2016. He seemed to care enough in the beginning of that pregnancy and always asked if there were any questions he could answer. Toward the middle and especially near the end seemed to rush through each appt and he continuously urged me to be induced because my baby was going to be "huge" and I was going to have trouble delivering her. He wanted to induce me two weeks prior to my due date! But I stuck to my guns and my daughter was born one day after my due date at 7lb 6oz and I only had to push three times to get her out! I never saw him during my labor but I trusted the nurses and felt like I was in good hands. Once he showed up (several minutes after I had been telling the nurses I desperately needed to push) he of course gloved and gowned and then took his sweet time talking to the nurses and telling me not to push yet because he wasn't ready! It wasn't until one of the nurses told him the head was coming out that he even stepped in front of me and got into position. I'm now pregnant with my second child and though I tried to switch OB'S to begin with my insurance wouldn't cover the one I wanted so I went back to Dr. Villarosa telling myself I would just have to stick to my guns again. I had my first appt last week and left in tears. To begin with my appt was at 1045 and I wasn't seen until 1230. He had an "emergency" at the hospital (OK understandable and the office did a good job of updating myself and the other patients as to when he would be back) but when came into my room he was clearly in a hurry to get my appt over with. I understand that he was behind and not able to spend as much time with each patient as he usually would but it seemed that after I told him I delivered my last baby with him he just figured I knew the score and didn't really need to be there. He barely looked at the baby on the ultrasound. I know from my previous experience that as soon as he does an ultrasound he'll tell me my baby is measuring larger than it really is. The ultrasound techs would ALWAYS give me a smaller measurement and take more measurements than he did. So at 10 weeks and 5 days he proceeds to tell me my baby is measuring very large, changes my due date to 8 days earlier than it really is, and that I need to consider being induced a week or two early. So at this point he literally wants to induce me before my baby is even full term!! When I argued with him about my due date, because I know the exact date of my last menstrual period and exact date of conception due to daily ovulation testing, he told me well we're not going by that because that's not what you're baby is measuring at. I don't care if my baby is measuring 10lbs at 37 or 38 weeks... That does not mean they are fully developed!!! Babies are now only considered full term at 39 weeks and babies born at 37-38 weeks are more likely to suffer health problems and this is when he wants to induce me! Proceeding with the ultrasound he finds the heartbeat and shows it to me shortly so I can see it beating but does not check the rate and switches off the machine. When I tell him I wanted to hear the heartbeat and asked him to check for twins as they run in both sides of my family and my husband's he said oh we'll just do that next time. He proceeded to tell me to lock my cats in a different room for the duration of my pregnancy and drink lots of water and left. I couldn't belive how rude and unprofessional he was this time around. I will now be going with a midwife who will listen to my concerns and aid me in sticking to MY birth plan and not that of someone who wants me to deliver my baby on their schedule. read more

BY TECHNICALITY I HAVE TO RATE THIS DOCTOR A 1..... I would like to start by saying after doing more research on Dr. Villarosa its a shame a review board hasn't revoked his license to practice. All the complaints against this doctor are CO.NSISTENT. Its my goal to expose the truth about Dr. Villarosa. I will be reaching out to different news outlets/social media bloggers/executives with political influences to start Publicizing the FACTS that get swept under the rug. May 24, 2017 The first impression: Dr Villarosa walks in the room, at the time, the mother of my child was having intense contractions. He says verbatim " How are you Miserable " as he laughs and proceeds to look over the shoulder of the nurse. I didn't like his comment but i didn't write him off. I just figured him to be a non compassionate person or desensitized. He checks her cervex not once when he recognized she was experiencing extreme pain did make a statement. By this point I developed the idea that Dr. Villarosa might enjoy watching the process of suffering. He treats his patients like plastic products on a conveyer built. While she was contracting and the babies heart rate was high he suggested to send her home. Hell NO. Wasn't having that. Never once did I get a real opportunity as the FATHER to discuss the plan of action with the doctor. Truthfully I felt he was trying his hardest to avoid me. Second Impression; Dr. Villarosa charges into the delivery room talking about lawsuits and the possibility of my child dying while looking me dead in my eyes. (this had no relevance to anything, I asked to speak with a Dr because none of the nurses provided consistent answers/ all information given by one nurse was contradicted by the next) I immediately asked him to correct the tone and the way he was talking to me. This interaction was escalated by Dr Villarosa when he came in the room. Then I asked Dr. Villarosa are you intentionally trying to piss me off. Thats when he stormed out and said call security and have him thrown outta here. I walked out to ask Dr. Villarosa his reasoning for throwing me out the delivery. His answer was he couldn't talk to me. I NEVER THREATENED OR PHYSICALLY TOUCHED THIS MAN. I simply asked are you Trying to intentionally piss me off/ are you trying to agitate me. This man displayed the worst behavior I have seen in a 60 yr old. So i was thrown out the delivery by security for asking Dr. Villarosa was he intentionally trying to piss me off. I'm OIF/OEF veteran. My girlfriend thought she would never carry a child full term and she did and this doctor took away my opportunity to witness a miracle i help create. Even after he robbed me of that opportunity I only asked to retrieve my bags out the room and kiss the love of my life on her lips and calmly walk out Victor Valley Hospital knowing this man took a way a powerful experience. I will never get that moment back. I know there are many more who have been wronged by Dr Villarosa. I'm building a case against this doctor. I'm only giving Dr. Villarosa 1 star because 0 stars is not an option. From beginning to end, I had the worst medical appt of my life. Please read to the end of this review. **First, the office opened about 15 minutes after my appointment was scheduled- I almost left, thinking maybe I had written down the wrong day or time. **Then, they did not accept any debit or credit cards, and told me I had to leave and drive down the street to get cash from a bank. That seemed a little strange, but the office staff was friendly enough so I let it slide. **Fast forward to when I met Dr. Villarosa.... He was unprofessional, incompetent, rude, and very fidgety (to the point that I wouldn't be surprised if he was under the influence of some kind of substance). **I told him that I am pregnant with twins (which I knew from the fertility clinic I was previously being seen at)- he kept questioning, how do you know it's twins? How do you know your due date? And- how much did you pay for IVF? (that last question obviously none of his business) **I had previous medical records faxed over from the fertility clinic, including the results from a VERY common 1st trimester screening- called an NIP test (checks for likelihood of trisomy 18 and 21).... When he was looking over my records, HE asked ME what the NIP test was. He had no clue what it meant when I explained it. **He did not know how to operate the ultrasound machine, which looked like it was from a century ago, couldn't find one of the babies, and was not interested in listening to the heartbeats- even though I was already 12 weeks along and it would have been completely possible. When I questioned him more than once about this, he said, "Ok fine, if you really want to hear them, I can see if my ultrasound tech came into work today..."..... The ultrasound tech was in fact there, and she was kind and found both babies without issue. I don't see why she wasn't in the room in the first place. Still, though- baby lengths were not measured. Their heartbeats were not measured. **When he finally (after about 20 min after the ultrasound had finished) said I could get up from the table, he lifted me up so fast and slammed the bottom end of the table down at the same time, that I almost fell off the table. He didn't notice because he was already turned around. When I told him that I almost fell, he just laughed and said, "oh, don't do that- twins are a high risk pregnancy!" **During the appt, he answered a phone call from his friend (in the middle of when I was answering a question) and ignored me for about 5 minutes while he spoke to him on speaker phone about an upcoming trip to San Diego. **He asked me, "Anything else?" about 25 times during the appt, and I wish I could say I was exaggerating. Each time, I told him that I didn't have any further questions... but he just kept asking. The fast way that he spoke and the fact that he kept repeating himself unnecessarily made me think that he could have been on drugs. **He spent about 90% of the appointment telling me about toxoplasmosis, which I understand to be a serious infection you can contract by handling used cat litter while pregnant. I told him I had not been the one changing the cat litter, but he insisted that was not enough- he told me that if I did not get rid of my cats completely, my babies would likely die. **His ONLY advice for me was to get rid of my cats and drink 8 glasses of water a day. If I did this, he guaranteed me to have a healthy pregnancy with healthy babies. **Finally--- there was NO lab work done, NO measurements, NO follow up call from a perinatologist (whom I was told would call me within a day or two, because they specialize in pregnancies with multiples.. I was supposed to see both OBs throughout the pregnancy).... Needless to say, I never went back to that office. I wanted to tell all the women in the waiting room to get a new OB asap..... there is no way I would trust that man to care for an adult, children, or babies, especially in the case of an emergency. PLEASE do yourself a favor and don't put yourself in danger by seeing this "OB". read more

I had only been once and when I walked in for my second over a month later the nurse at the front desk recognized me and knew my name without even asking. I feel comfortable there. I think they're one of the best OB/GYN practices in all of San Bernardino County. read more

The office staff is very pleasant and helpful. Dr Vilarosa is wonderful. He takes his time to answer all your questions and does not make you feel rushed. He made me feel at ease with concerns I had. I left the office feeling more knowledgeable about my worries and gave me piece of mind about my concerns.
