You'll get little time with an actual PT, and the aides/assistants aren't always the best--don't always know proper form, etc. With the PT trying to farm out much of the work to these helpers and trying to just be a coordinator/director, you won't get the care you really need...unless you are an athlete under age 35. The PTs seem to focus their time on athletic rehab for true athletes under 35 (and probably really under 30). I came here to begin rehab after a total knee replacement. And I am over 25. Big mistake. Basically wasted almost four of my PT visits from insurance before I had had enough and made a change.

My lower back, hips and core have been weak due to the multiple pregnancies as well as prior injuries so my pelvic floor doesn't have much support. Kerri has taught me all the important exercises that target tiny support muscles I've neglected for years and I feel myself finally getting stronger. I wasn't sure I'd be able to do much with the pain and aches that was often debilitating and kept seeming to pop up on different locations but Kerri is definitely a pro and I'm excited about the progress we've been making! I've been to many PTs before for different ongoing injuries and Kerri is by far my favorite. The office is also clean, spacious and I like that treatment areas are more private than in some other offices. I loved the staff and although no one likes PT, they made it tolerable, and I made outstanding progress. Well, things have changed, and I would avoid going here if possible. ATI has tragically gone downhill, and I don't trust the caliber of their therapists. It appears management is not interested in making any positive changes. My PT therapist was sharp, critical, and ignored my pain and feedback. I just returned from my orthopedic doctor, and he was appalled I was pushed to exercise on an injury and said had I continued it, it would have made the situation worse. I used to go to Totem Lake Physical Therapy, and they were great but are no longer in my insurance network, so I called ATI and asked to speak to management. I was a bit emotional since I've been in a lot of pain and I was hoping to just switch therapists, but no one ever called me back despite explaining the reason for my call. I can't imagine any medical professional not returning a client's call - especially a long-time client who is in tears; that's terrible. I will never go there again. Try Totem Lake Physical Therapy. I'm going to go there and pay out of pocket because it's worth it.

So I cringed when my doc sent me to PT after a recent car accident. But he recommended LWPT and the experience here couldn't be better! Everyone here is super nice. They all know my name and greet me warmly when I arrive. The office is clean, professional and comfortable. My therapist, Sam, has a calm, competent air about her that makes you feel as though you're in good hands. Hopefully I won't need PT again after this. But if I do, I know where I'm going.
