After getting prices from our local dealer, we found the same travel trailer for $14000 less at Wanna RV. My husband negotiated with our local dealer who eventually came down $10000. But because we HAD to even have that conversation with our local dealer, we chose to drive the 600 miles to buy from wanna RV. They treated us right. And by the way the country area around town is beautiful. We will be back to visit the area.

We got handed off to the service manager who was unpleasant to work with and handed us off to the manufacturer Lippert. We kept getting bounced back between Wanda RV service manager and Lippert because neither wanted to own and resolve the issue. A year later June 2026 and we still don't have a working tankless hot water heater. Wanna RV does not stand behind what they sell in the first year of warranty and I would not recommend them. Their service manager was abrasive and most concerned about how much money Wana was out "were out $200 and can't keep throwing parts at it " A 40 ft RV is not like a car where you can take it into a service center. Lippert knows they have many issues with the GSWH-2 tankless but are simply trying to cover them up.

Ensured multiple times how unit had been winterized, oil changed, and that unit was ready to roll. Asked twice if a pre-delivery inspection checklist was utilized. Ensured they did so, and that it was completely ready to go. Took unit straight to outdoor storage for 3 weeks and had several days of freezing temps. Weather warmed for a short time, so we used the RV. Discovered unit had not been winterized, grey tank was ~2/3 full, black tank ~1/3, no anti-freeze in pipes, oil not changed, generator exhaust pipe was hanging loose below unit, all tires low air pressure. Brought unit back expecting nothing more than an explanation of how this happened, an apology and a quick fix of these items. No apology, empathy or taking of responsibility. Reluctantly agreed to fix the items but made us leave it without a clear return date, which ruined our planned Thanksgiving trip. Upon pickup, thought we would get a better explanation and some kind of apology, maybe a wash of the RV to make us feel a bit better... but instead, more excuses, double talk, indifference and attitude. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place... we are certain, the same stuff is happening with their own Phoenix products. Quality assurance and customer service would be evident throughout the company if they were important to them! Like Share

We were kept appraised of the timeline as work went along. Although it took a little while due to supply chain issues in the RV industry here in Elkhart, it was WELL WORTH the wait. Our rig looks brand new. It's a beautiful job well done. We wouldn't hesitate to drive a distance to come back to Allegiant for any future repairs or service needs. Although it's a small shop, it's mighty. The staff is professional, courteous, and well skilled in dealing with any repair or body issues you might have with your RV. If you read the reviews on Google, they are a 5 star company in Middlebury, IN, and we can't say enough about how well we were treated and how beautiful our rig looks. We left a positive review there, too, we are so grateful for the awesome job you did. Thank you, to Tony, and the professional skilled people you have working for you. You are a true asset to the Elkhart RV industry.

Let me preface this review with the fact that everyone we dealt with was very nice. This is a…read morenewer Lazy Days location and it really seems like they are still doing business like a Mom and Pop, not the way Lazy Days Corporate would run the dealership. Don't get me wrong, I love supporting small businesses but there are things about buying at a Lazy Days that are good and we were excited to become a Lazy Days customer after visiting the Tucson store a couple months prior. Elkhart could use with extra on site corporate training at the location. The communication breakdown between departments is astounding. Our story: We were not quite ready to trade in our camper. We thought we would take a year to decide what we wanted then pull the trigger after finding a really good price. But we found exactly what we wanted and they did give us a better offer than what other dealers had offered. It was even attractive enough to trade instead of selling privately. So we put money down on one June 21. We had our bank check in hand within a few days. But our salesman left and we were handed off to someone else who couldn't even be bothered to show up for our closing. We heard "we will call you back" at least a dozen times from Sales, Finance and Service departments with no return call. Finance department was swamped with more deliveries than one person could handle and after chasing people to get a closing date, we finally got on the schedule for July 8. In contrast: Our neighbors loved the floor plan we were buying and found the same one at a dealer in Indy. They put money down on a Friday and had it home on the following Tuesday! Problems at closing: Numbers were wrong, changes needed to be made, salesman was needed, store manager was needed, paperwork girl was needed and service was needed. There wasn't one department that got it all right. Our walk through was stale. Even though we were trading in a similar unit, there were many features on this one were were not familiar with. Thank God for YouTube and a college education to figure things out on our own! Pros: Free sites at the dealership to camp on for your initial shakedown so you are there should you need help. Gabe in service was a bright spot. Very patient, knowledgeable and helpful. The hitch was installed for us and the very minor issues we found were repaired within a few hours. It's also very close to the factory so if there were major issues you'd be close enough to go to Millersburg for help. But Forest River is typically not loaded with major problems. Lazy Days also gives you a free 13 month or 260 night free membership to Thousand Trails and you can get service at any Lazy Days across the country. All in all we love our new camper and feel we got a reasonable deal in a volatile market. But Elkhart needs more corporate training. Checklists for each department to be sure closings go well would be stellar. More communication and teamwork would completely change the experience. It was incredibly stressful for us. Not fun at all. We aren't sure we will ever go back to this location.
