I have to pay homage to the best place the Quantico/Stafford area has to offer in my humble opinion.. PERIOD! LOL!! I was pleasantly surprised to find out that this establishment is minority owned given its geographical location. Things are changing, slowly but surely :) Embassy Cigar Lounge has a lot to love! It's deceivingly big once you enter. It's a full service cigar lounge with an impressive selection of stogies and it has a separate restaurant with a large bar and dance floor. Now this area is definitely a military (Marines) kinda town, so who doesn't love hanging out with folks that secure our daily freedom.. I know I do! Thanks guys for your service!!! The filtration system is top notch and the food is pretty damn good! They offer the full menu in the cigar lounge also, so you can dine, puff and watch your favorite game, all at the same damn time!! FINALLY stopped in at this place, I've driven by many times and now that I live up here I decided I should stop in. My only regret is that I didn't stop by before now. I'm not a cigar aficionado by any stretch of the imagination, in fact my first visit here was my first visit to an actual cigar lounge. I was given a warm welcome and even shown the ropes by one of the gentleman there who offered a ton of suggestions on a smoke for the evening. No one made fun of me for not knowing the etiquette of a lounge (leave your cigar to die in peace in the big ashtray on the table don't sniff it out) and I wasn't direct to the most expensive cigar either. You can come in and have a $10 cigar or a $30 cigar. Grab a drink, dinner, a coke, a water or bring your own cigar, enjoy some company or just sit on one of the couches and chill on your phone. If you enjoy cigars or are just starting to enjoy them stop in here. You won't regret it. I haven't tried the food yet from the adjoining restaurant but it looks good as well. read more

Best place I have found to have a drink, and a smoke, south of DC. Don't expect super-swanky decor or ambiance, just cigar smokers (mostly military) and good people. If Skylar or Vanessa are on, service in the lounge will be reasonalby fast and accurate. These girls remember your name, and your order, and are quick with a smile and go out of their way to make your experience enjoyable. Only a few hundred yards from my office, this is the perfect place to stop after work, have a bite to eat, a bit of bourbon, and a good stick. Alone, or with friends, you'll be hard pressed to find what the Embassy Lounge has to offer without going to Fredericksburg or DC. read more

Great place to hangout with friends and reminisce. The staff are happy to talk to you and help you pick out a cigar but are also excellent at letting you feel at home and just relax on their nice leather couches. They have a restaurant and bar next door which if you're staying at the Courtyard Marriott it makes it very convenient to drink and then walk to the hotel. What could be a great place to relax and enjoy a cigar ....isn't. Decent selection of cigars. Nice lounge. 1st time I came here, walked in....bought a cigar...started smoking. Decided I wanted a drink. waited. waited. crickets. No waitress. Went to the area by cash register close to the humadors. Stood there for literally 15 min while a table with some military types were having a conversation with each other and drinking. I eventually asked them where I could get a drink and they told me to walk over to the bar. Strike one. Now I'm here on 2nd visit, bought a cigar... asked for a punch...the punch is so dull it ruined the cigar. Guy working there tells me that the boss knows but oh well...guess their too cheap to get a new $5 punch...ended up cutting it. Go over to the bar...ask what beers they have...bartender tells me...I order...then as he hands me a drink...says oh ya...we have these beers too (the one I would have ordered). This place is what every other cigar lounge wants to be when it grows up! The interior is lined with nice colors and dark woods so it has a very nice aesthetic. It is well-ventilated so you can enjoy your stick and not be concerned with competing scents. Everyone is welcoming and content to both involve you in their conversation or let you relax on your own. The furniture is plush leather and incredibly comfortable. They have tables where you can work and order dinner from The Globe & Laurel next door. The Globe & Laurel will send a waitress to take food orders or libations from their full bar. There isn't a place like this close to me so I make sure to visit when I can. They are VERY military and LEO friendly as most of the clientele and owners are prior military, however, civilians will feel just as welcome. If you're in the mood for a good steak, burger, bourbon, beer, and/or cigar, I highly recommend stopping in. read more

They added TV's, eliminated the annoying cut fees and doubled the cigar selection. Their pricing on was competitive and I bought several boxes. Met friendly people who made me feel welcome. We literally wandered into this place - what a gem! Super clean, comfortable, well ventilated, and very friendly staff. There is a nice selection of cigars, but if you want to bring your own cigar, go for it. Just know that there is a $5 fee (like a cork fee for bringing your own wine to a restaurant).
