They changed their whole store around and now when you walk in all your seasons jobs and you have to get a basket and carry it around and you get to touch the products but it's when you walk in that's all you see is these shelves facing you with no the product is the image of the shelves and they have a little tiny counter now for check out they must have consolidated their staff or something they have people walking around now but if you want to do online then you have to come in and then go right over to the calendar where you check in that's where you get here online it is very unfriendly to me I didn't seem to like it I rather go up to the counter and I have to carry a basket around when I do online or if I'm looking for something I rather ask a customer ask somebody not somebody walking around like I don't know it's just it looked unfriendly when you walked in cuz all you see is that into the shelves when you walk in the door it's like your bombarded with it he can barely see the counter back there where the person standing it's very end friendly he have to walk through a maze of shelves before you can get to the one county it just doesn't have a flow anymore sad read more

The service is really good. I recently decided to try tinctures and the bud tender who helped me was knowledgeable and helpful in recommending one. The one thing I don't care for about this store is that you can't browse the products, everything is behind the counter and the bud tender has to bring it to you. read more

It's the happiest place on earth! Well, happiest place in Chico, anyway. I write this as a relative newbie to Cannabis. There's also 2 parts to this- my experience and also commenting on the negative reviews. IF You're new- Seek Alex! He's absolutely amazing! I've been to a few other dispensaries where all they wanted to do was sling multiple products at me with no idea of what my ultimate goal was. Causing me to waste several hundreds of dollars with no real solution other than "getting stoned". Then I found Embarc. Alex who has been my bud tender a few times has been absolutely amazing and I've never once felt as it I was being judged for asking so many questions. He answered them all with a genuine smile on his face and the confidence of someone who knew their craft and product. It seems every time I go in, i have 20 more questions and Alex answers them completely and regardless of how many people are in line, he takes the time to make me feel like I'm the only person in the room. With 20 years of retail sales experience under my belt, I know how difficult that can be. Thank you Alex! I appreciate TF out of you! As for the negative reviews- Complaining about a business opening 10 minutes late? You mean... Humans aren't perfect?! *GASP* Overpriced? You mean daily deals plus a Veterans discount that makes their prices on average about 15% less than other places in chico? IMO the bad reviews are from people that obviously need to take some uh... chill medicine THEN write a review OR people with ties to other dispensaries which is a shame because there is MORE than enough business to go around! And the one complaining about scanning your ID.. Dude- they either scan them with a scanner or a swipe card on the magnetic strip. Didn't get her name (wouldn't respond when I talked to her anyways) but was the girl with a bunch of black pimple patches on and curly hair. Will not be going back to a business whose security personnel are rude and overly agrressive. If a person's actions are innocent and they are polite, there is no need for violent threatening and posturing behavior from security. Staff are good people, but security is not. I also like the new layout of product because it follows better. My only issue is the ac being on cold days and nobody is by it to cool off just me freezing cold in line. And i was highly disappointed. A worker name Brant, that was our seller made me feel so unwelcome. He was giving me no interaction made me feel like i was an inconvenience to him. Was very short with me when i had questions. Made my visit just not a memorable expiernce. Let me say im not a rookie at purchasing products from dispensarys so my visit with Brant had to be far the worse expierence. So that's why I gave it one star base on this interaction. Why do they have to take & scan your driver's license? Legally, all they need to do is verify your age by looking at your CDL. They should at least post a sign or ask before scanning your license. After that encounter, I wasn't interested in shopping. Ruined the whole vibe. Not cool. read more

I always feel rushed when I come in I've gone to Embarc about a total of 4 times and each time I go I feel very rushed my last experience on 07/27 my budtenders (Ashley) attitude changed from "welcoming hospitality" to a "hurry up" once I asked to see a couple of products and then when I asked if a certain brand was carried rather then saying they have it and which strains they just pointed at the wall full of products like I can see it I would have spent more but this budtender made me want to leave real quick not sure I'm coming back read more
