Contrated for plans to rebuild a portion of our home. Very expensive, unresponsive, not worth the prices charged.

They came check the bathroom apparently the water with the floor and the shower and everything had to be taken out center guys. Here they tore everything out. Did a lousy job left holes in my floor they got paid by my insurance company. I never saw a bill. They strong-armed me in signing that the work they had done was done to my satisfaction by telling me if I didn't sign my job would stop there being a senior citizen and handicapped I needed to have my bathroom repaired. After over a week and hearing nothing more, I complain to the insurance company and I told them they lowball the client to satisfy the insurance company and then do shotty work so they continue to get referrals from insurance companies. I was told to get my own contractor which I was allowed to do and I did waiting for approval on the estimate. I would never recommend them or use them again. They also wanted me to have my insurance company pay them directly. I refused I own my house outright. I don't need them to decide what gets paid and what does it. Do yourself a favor steer clear of them.

Two years and 3 project managers later we are still being ignored, stonewalled and lied to at every turn when they can be bothered to communicate with us at all. Deadlines and empty promises come and go with the one constant being professional malfeasance and refusal to respond to emails, texts and phone calls. Our first PM claimed they would do the plans to submit to the building inspector so we could start the repairs (and put $700 in their pocket the company never saw) and failed to produce them and delayed the project two months of implausible excuses. We paid (again) to have an independent architect do them so we could submit them and at the meeting with the builders and subs it became clear they had only looked at the plans to put their name on it and try to claim it as their own work and found out our thieving chemically addled PM filed the for the incorrect permits with the town and put our inspections out for months. Our (excellent) local builder cleared his entire Sept,October and December (of 2023!) to finish our project and via Insurscum's abject mismanagement of the entire process we are where we are, not in our house and no realistic plan to be back in soon. 2024 has been financially and personally devastating and taken a year out of our lives paying exorbitant rent on top of our Mortgage, (our housing expenses from the Insurance Co ran out a year ago.) All of this the management and officers of Insurcomm have made clear they are not interested in hearing about. Their resolution to people's concerns and complaints is to first make them pay for a 3rd party mediatior and then failing that to aggressively sue and refuse to release the personal property which they store at your charge. This they do to their customers that are 100% in crisis in varying levels using lies, panic peddling and sleazy used car salesman techniques (apologies to used car salesmen.) I feel the only thing we can do for now is to warn people to stay clear of Insurcomm. If anyone at Insurcomm would like to explain or dispute these objective facts we have been scrupulously documenting they can reach out they supposedly have our number, but I ain't going to wait up. My next posts will include the full names, photos and mugshots of all of the shady people we have dealt with here so others can spare themselves from any of the disrespectful and rude treatment we are still experiencing.

They removed all of the water quickly. Project manager Carolle was assigned to us since we required a full demolition of floors and some walls. She assessed that damage and knew exactly what needed to be done. She went over and above to insure that it was completed quickly and efficiently. She communicated with us throughout the process. If we had questions, she called us back within 30 minutes if could not take our call immediately. We could not have been more pleased with Carolle and the team. We are grateful that Allstate sent them out for us.

Paul Davis was hired by my insurance company to do work on my home involving a kitchen leak that caused damage to my floors through the ceiling below. Jordan came in, took moisture readings, and provided a quality consultation. He took a lot of photos and measurements. The expectation set was that they would take 3-4 days to remove damaged materials and dry it out. By that 3rd/4th day, they would assess the full damage and begin working with insurance. They were supposed to refinish my flooring, replace the damaged cabinet, replace sheetrock, and paint. I was told they would pack up the rest of my stuff and store it while this was happening. This was ballpark - a 2 month project. The remediation part went OK at the end of December. It took longer than expected, it seems due to poor communication. They didn't schedule someone to disconnect the gas from the stove or a granite specialist to remove the countertops the first day. They found someone to disconnect the stove day 2 but not the counters so they did them themselves and broke a backsplash. They were there longer than expected because the coordinator didn't know to schedule them for certain days. At the end, they took a lot of photos and measurements. They removed and threw out the cabinet (it wasn't salvageable), though they stipulated that they *should* have saved the cabinet doors and facing to make replacement easier. I asked them to save the hardware and they said they did but lost it. Jordan took one of my cabinet doors and told me they would match it as close as possible. They were supposed to replace the damaged insulation but didn't until my house started to get very cold and the insurance company learned work they paid for wasn't done. They sent someone to quickly add it. After a month (possibly more) I learned that they submitted replacing all of my counters to insurance, which was rejected because only one was damaged. They told me they could only work with me on correcting the floors and sheetrock because they don't do restoration for cabinets. I complained to the insurance company who hired them. The adjuster made a call and I was told that Paul Davis was going to take care of me. They sent a project manager who came to be the third person to take a lot of photos and measurements. After 3-4 weeks (about 2 months after they gutted my kitchen), I got a quotation that didn't detail all of the necessary repair work. I asked questions and had to follow up a few times to get a response. They had difficulty giving me a timeframe and ultimately was told another 6-8 weeks would pass before they began work. They claimed some of it was because they didn't know about some aspects early on, but they did as they sent 2 other people here to assess it previously. They also told me that my insurance rejected packaging and moving my belongings. The insurance company said it wasn't even submitted to them because they would've approved it. In fact, they DID approve it later on. Someone from restoration called to ask me why I hadn't signed the contract yet and I detailed my challenges with what had happened thus far, and having to be displaced an additional 2 months. She said something to the extent of us not being a match. It honestly felt like they didn't want me as a customer the moment they learned it was a smaller project. I'm now acting as my own contractor and the floors were done a week later; all other work is scheduled to be done soon. Also, they lost my hardware. Edit to add: I see the owner's response. I did discuss all of these challenges on the phone directly, no support was offered. I have moved on.

The project…read moremanager then claimed that there was probably more mold throughout the whole house and suggested gutting the WHOLE ENTIRE apartment where this mold was located. He also claimed there was most likely trace levels of asbestos because of the horse hair/vermiculite walls in a late 1800s house...DUH!! And for that reason it would then become an incredibly expensive asbestos removal gig...are you serious?? They were going to charge thousands just to test the mold, and Im 100% sure they wanted to get the asbestos test done ASAP to lock us into doing all the unnecessary work they wanted to charge us for. The project manager talked about all of this highly sensitive information in front of tenants, and was horribly unprofessional...It seemed like he was doing it on purpose. They try to scare the homeowner into committing to a contract with incredibly predatory terms...so they can take advantage of you!! Safe to say I cut ties with this company and any predatory mold/asbestos testing company they work hand in hand with. I suggest speaking to your local municipality about their rules and regulations regarding mold don't listen to the mold remediation company especially not SERVPRO. I also suggest avoiding this company and save yourself regret and possibly hundreds of thousands of dollars depending on how much they want to get you for.
