But each time I walk in and try to get just a pop 3 4 employees are standing around they see people and scatter leaving 1 kid to help it's not busy But I should have to wait 10 min each time to get a cup to get pop than go to pay . pop cups were by checkout . now there is no differeance w covid and cup placement . It's frustrating to stand in line for a pop the way it was before we liked . also kind of bad for employees to scatter when people come i'm sure they are cross trained in how to do all I'm frustrated now I'm not spending $ beacause of this which means your business is losing cash . I've long known this theater to be a place of high regard. It has always shown me and my family respect but unfortunately times have changed along with this theate. The prices are outrageous and the management team there is of no use to anyone. They couldn't help a fly get out of a spider's web and not only that but they are very unprofessional and seem to be quite rude. I would even go far as to say racist, I've seen many of theater chains in my life but none quite as racist and disgusting as this theater in Frankfort IL. I purchased 2 tickets for my teen girls to see Inside Out 2. Shortly after the movie started, one of the girls called to say someone was sitting in their assigned seat. The girls did what they could to get their seats, but the person refused to move. They called me, and I told them to get a team member to resolve the issue. A team member was called over and discovered the family of 3 only had 2 tickets. Instead of asking the person to move from the seat, she told my girls to hold tight, and she would find them 2 other seats. They waited for the female team member to return, but she did not. My girls took turns sitting on the dirty floor until I returned to the theater to try to resolve the issue. I immediately asked to speak to a manager, who also didn't ask the person to move. He said, "Here's how this is going to go down, I'm going to offer the girls' tickets to a later show." I paid for the 4:30 show, and that seat belonged to my girl. He didn't even try to address the issue at hand. Just removed my girls as if they were in the wrong. This theater's lack of concern is seriously a problem. I could have disrupted the movie for everyone, but I did not. My children were offered seats to a 9pm show that ended at 11pm. They will not be out that later without a parent as I didn't purchase tickets for myself. I am very disappointed in Emagine and your ability to honor my tickets. After reaching out to Emagine, I was given the most lame response of let us look at our policy, and here's 2 tickets to see another movie. No wonder your team responded the way they did. Your response is not enough to compensate for the humiliation my girls endured. I live in the city and will go out my way to go to this theater. I just love this place. It's so cozy and I'm a rewards member. It's totally worth it. I love the fact they offer real butter and I believe olive oil. I wish they would do coconut oil. I would normally go to the country club hills theater but it's gotten way to bad. Last I went they were checking bags before you entered. Yeah.... no thanks! Emagine has a full bar and you can order food and have it delivered to your seat. They also have trays that fit in your cup holder so you can sit your food,drinks and popcorn instead of your lap. I wish they had more of a variety of movies. read more

I like the large lobby and lounge area . Big accomadating restrooms near entrance / exit but to far away from the auditoriums if your already seated for a movie. Seats are standard recliners like most newer theaters have . Concession popcorn tastes better than most other places. Rewards card program has two levels , loyalty and extras . First card is free and the second has a nominal one time fee . If you don't buy your ticket online the casheries are very friendly and helpful with picking a seat . read more

I'm conflicted. Everyone needs to turn a profit, but $17 for a 22oz Sam Adams and a refillable large popcorn? Tickets were $7. It was about $15.00 a piece to take my daughter to a matinee show. The theater is well run and clean. The concession lines and cashiers keep things moving. There are dream loungers that are comfortable enough to allow one to sleep through the movie. It is a good operation, but I do not like to pay $12.50 for a beer I can get across the parking lot for $8. read more

Emagine is almost perfect. Theater experience, perfect. Customer service, perfect. Movie ticket price, perfect. Popcorn to butter ratio, perfect. Candy options, perfect. Drink options, perfect. But prepared foods quality, severely lacking. This is my favorite theater in the area, even beating out Hollywood Palms (but HP does offer much better food quality). First of all, the ticket prices! Considering I've been to theaters in the area that charge a whole lot more and offer a whole lot less... these tickets are a steal. Occasionally my hubby and I will catch an earlier movie and get away with only a $12 dent to our bank account (that's two tickets together!). We purchase our tickets on Fandango so we almost always have a discount available, but even without a discount the regular ticket price is cheaper than what I've seen at theaters at this caliber. And ticket prices are the same for two people regardless of if you choose a regular seat (regular seats are all reclining) or a two person sofa (all of which are at the very front to the theater). And there's ample space between each row! The theaters themselves are amazing! The screens are huge and in perfect shape, even in the smaller theaters. All of the single seater chairs recline and the two person sofas offer a large ottoman that basically turns those into a bed. The trays they offer are a great alternative to the typical stationary table that most recliner chair theaters have so you can choose whether or not you have one. Pretty much everything about this theater is luxurious, but affordable. Except for the prepared foods like the pizza, quesadillas, pretzel bites, and the list goes on. I've even numerous items off of the menu now and I can say with certain, nothing they offer prepared (with the exception of the popcorn) is good. Seems harsh, but everything I've ordered I haven't finished because it's just not good. The pretzel bites are way too chewy and somehow lack flavor even if you request pretzel salt or an actual flavor like garlic Parmesan. The pepperoni pizzas are bland, but also have too much sauce at the same time. I've come to the conclusion that I can just enjoy their deliciously, buttered popcorn and Reese's Pieces. Food qualms aside, I absolutely love this theater. The amenities are great and it really ups the ante when it comes to what a movie theater experience should be. I mean you're paying the same price it would cost you to own the movie to just see it once... the experience should be amazing. read more

Nice theatre. Emagine is my mom's new favorite movie theatre. We'd made plans to go see Skyscraper starring The Rock. We got the the theatre right before the movie after buying our tickets online. We went to the counter and the young lady retrieved our tickets by simply scanning my mom's credit card. We didn't need to pull up an email or open an app which was awesome. We bought popcorn and soda at the concession stand with ease. The popcorn was tasty. Much better than the popcorn served at both AMC and Marcus. My only complaint was that they had little salt packets instead of having actual popcorn salt. The Coke also tasted weird so I ended up pouring it out and getting orange Fanta instead. I'm guessing the syrup needed to be changed in the Coke dispenser. You get the popcorn at the main counter but you get your cup at separate counter on the way to the theatre and pay there. That was a bit weird having been a first timer. I can't imagine that's a great setup on days that the theatre is packed. The theatre we were in (#10) was huge with a large number of seats. The seats are slightly larger then the ones at AMC and Marcus and arguably more comfortable. The theatre's set up is much like the old school theatre's. There is an entire row of seats side by side versus having a fraction of the seats in the row like at some other theatre chains. The surround sound was amazing. It was so good that at one point I literally turned around because I thought someone was behind me talking to me. The movie also started after only 15 minutes of previews and minimal commercials which was nice. At AMC and Marcus the commercials and previews have started taking upwards of 30 minutes! I used both the single stall family bathroom near the theatre I was sitting in and the larger bathroom meant for most guests. The single stall reeked of urine. It was definitely in need of a good cleaning. The large bathroom near the exit was much cleaner and had no off putting smell. Overall, I'm pleased with my first experience at Emagine. I can see why my mom prefers the location over both Marcus and AMC. The theatre is beautiful and spacious with ample seating in the lobby. I saw a few arcade games near the entrance and a private screening room you can rent out for private parties. My mom looked into it and said it costs about $400 plus $20 per person. She said they served food and she thought it seated about 20 people max. read more

Just went today. The place smells awful like an old dumpster. At first I thought it was just me,but then I saw a group of people walking with their sleeves over their noses I know the place used to be a grocery store but it smells like they still have the produce rotting in the back. The concession stand is stupid too. Go to 1 counter for your popcorn and food, another counter for candy, the cup for your drink, and to pay, and finally a third location to actually pour your drink. Who thought this was a good idea? Took way too long because I had to wait for a group of girls to giggle over the candy and make life decisions on what size drink to order. Waste of time! Also,the bathrooms are way too far from the theaters. It's ridic to have to walk so far if you need to go in the middle of the movie. read more

Today I went to the Emage Frankfort theater in Frankfort. It's the holiday so I understand that they are very busy and probably overwhelmed with customers. What I do NOT appreciate is waiting in line to get my popcorn then when I get to the front of the line to order my popcorn they are out of cheese. It was such an inconvenience and THEY SHOULD HAVE MADE AN ANNOUNCEMENT so customers would know. But instead of standing in line for 20 minutes I could have been in my seat. When I asked for the manager she did not offer anything but "I'm sorry " which was not good enough. I wanted my usual cheese and regular popcorn but no cheese was ready although they KNEW they would have an influx of people. She should have offered me a free drink ir something. Before I start this is a review of only the bathroom, but let me just say: WOW! Was I impressed! Let me create the scene. I pick up my girl for a 10:25 PM movie. I ate dinner before and drank a decent amount of apple juice. Get to the movie and have a sprite and water. The movie is 2 and half hours long, plus mid credits and end credits. By the time it ends it's one in the morning and my bladder is ready to explode. Im tired and don't have much patience. Im preparing to wait in line for the bathroom but no! When I walk in there's plenty of sink, urinals, and stalls. Biggest bathroom I've seen. Truly a masterpiece. The only reason it's getting four is because there was some sticky substance on the ground and that was gross. Other than that it was huge and clean, ideal bathroom. read more

However, you mentioned that all of your disclaimers are listed on the website, but the average person looks on the website for a list of the movies along with the showtimes and the trailers, not looking for the Take Aways from the regular Tuesday program. After all, it was Christmas Eve which I thought was a time for giving rather than taking away. Who Does That? SCROOGE! My question to you is Why? Why would you take away PERKS just because it falls on or near a holiday? My husband and I haven't been to a theater in years and we were pleasantly surprised with our experience here. We went a little bit early and had a drink at the bar, the staff was so friendly and nice we really enjoyed just hanging out before the movie. Movie experience was nice, chairs are comfy, temp control was spot on, sound and picture were really good and everything was very clean. If I could leave this place negative stars I certainly would. This is the absolute worst theater I have ever been to. 4 separate lines: one for ticket, one for food, one to pay for food and get a cup for your drink, and then one to get your drink. This is the most backwards, time consuming system I have ever seen. It seems whoever founded this place thought that telling individuals that they would stand in 4 lines rather than having a one stop shop would be a good marketing plan??? Beyond that sound quality is not great and movies often end up off the screen and aren't properly aligned. THE ABSOLUTE WORST POPCORN I HAVE EVER HAD. JUST DISGUSTING. My boyfriend and I last went to see Megan and we're seated by an older woman and her adult daughter to our left and a group of adults to our right. For 20 minutes each one talked nonstop as the movie played - as though they were sitting at home and were not disturbing the others who also paid for the movie. After 20 minutes, we got up and left. A few weeks ago I took my girlfriend to see The Last Duel. Over the course of the movie I placed two orders to the kitchen. On both orders, they forgot to give us salsa (especially frustrating for the second order as I told the employee that they forgot it the first time). Even more frustrating is that my girlfriend ordered a quesadilla with no jalapenos. Low and behold, we received our food and her quesadilla and it had jalapenos. Kitchen staff seems very unprofessional and incompetent if they can't even make sure to put salsa on the tray when the entree is supposed to come with salsa, much less are unable to remember to make alterations to their recipes. read more

Love this theater. Bar when you enter (you can bring drinks as well as food served to you in the theater) and beautiful interior. There's a fireplace for those to sit and a piano that plays by itself. The recliner seats in the theater are extremely comfortable and you can adjust the settings. No need to arrive there early to get a seat. You can reserve seats ahead of time. My favorite theater in the suburbs. read more

Would love to be able to give them 5 stars, but the restrooms is what brings it down. Two out of the past three times, they've been quite bad, with dirty seats, toilet paper everywhere, soap leaking onto the counters, water not turning on, etc. The theatre itself is really nice. The lines can get long for food but they move quickly. I think the prices on beer and wine are pretty reasonable. Also had an issue with the nachos this last visit. The picture was completely different than what we received, although it was still pretty tasty. Seats are SO comfy, and lots of room to stretch out without people banging into your legs as they walk buy. Buying online seats is convenient but I can't seem to link my rewards account. My family have been avid Emagine theater patrons since it opened in Frankfort, IL. Normally we love it. Prices, food, slushies, and a friendly staff. However, in September 2020 we first met the manager Michael (the blond guy who likes to wear pink shirts. This description only given because another manager, Catrina, told me to after refusing to give Michael's last name or employee number). We attended a movie during Covid and he didn't believe my wife was wearing a mask because it was made from toulle and was flesh colored. After she showed him the mask on her face we were allowed in. Since then we have been to the movies 4 times wearing the same masks. Michael has been there every time looking at us cross eyed, but never again confronting us about the masks. Today, the fifth time we have attended emagine since September 2020, Michael made the personal choice to deem our masks unworthy of emagine's standards (which I am sure the corporate policy does not designate fabric). We had two children with us, so I did not argue the point and asked for some masks to be provided to us. Michael brought masks to us with his dirty, ungloved, Covid hands and gave them to my wife and me. Then, with the same dirty, ungloved, Covid hands, Michael stepped forward and touched my 6 year old daughter's face while trying to put a mask on her. She immediately freaked out and started crying as a strange man tried to touch her and she has sensory issues. He then proceeded to hide in the back room as we became angered and demanded to speak with his boss. Another manager, Catrina, came out to talk to us. We found out, Michael is a liar, also. He told Catrina that he had spoken with us about the masks we wore, previously. However, as stated earlier, he only addressed my wife, back in September, because he didn't think she was wearing one. This place would have normally been a 5 star, but I can't give it more than a 1 star as long as Michael works here. He's unprofessional, doesn't know how to approach children and their parents, and implements his personal beliefs at a place of business that had its own rules. read more

We have been here six times as it such a pleasure now to go to the show! I am thrilled that a theater opened here in Frankfort. And such a theater it is. It is new and clean and spacious. There is a fireplace in the lobby, chairs and a player piano for a welcoming glam first impression. The washrooms are huge, plenty of stalls and so far, super clean. There are all kinds of staff working here and they are all very pleasant and accommodating. The training must be excellent to get everyone so polite. The numbers on your seat light up so you can see them in the dark. The soft, leather reclining seats are wider than those in AMC or Marcus. There is plenty of leg room and it is easy to buy your tickets at home and reserve the seat you want. Keep up the great work Emagine, welcome to Frankfort! read more

I have been to this theater several times and thoroughly enjoy myself every single time. The movie prices are fair and they have several food, snack, and drink choices... They also have cuddle chairs for 12 bucks which is a nice way to snuggle while watching a movie. Clean theater and you can order the tickets via website or kiosk right when you walk in.. Gorgeous theatre that's part retro, part modern in the best way. Luxurious, comfortable seating that's reserved only (yay!), tons of food and drink (alcoholic and non) options and even a small, private "screening room" that's available for special events. They even have real butter or olive oil available for your popcorn! Really tight but friendly COVID enforcement and a staff that goes above and beyond. Emagine Frankfort. We love going there, but the ladies bathroom is always horrific, there is always water all over the floor, no toilet paper, nothing to dry your hands off with. The garbage cans are always full; it's terrible in there, that is really my only complaint, the food is excellent, the service is excellent, but after you eat and you're leaving, you should be able to go to the bathroom with confidence and know that it is sanitized for your safety, and of all the time I've been going to this theater, the bathrooms have never been up to part. The ladies bathroom is terrible. I can speak for the men's bathroom Also, because my husband states, it's fine. It's always the women's restroom. It makes me not want to get anything to eat or drink, just so I don't have to go when I leave..just terrible. read more

I enjoy their cheese pizza their Coke machine is a little syrupy however they have great selections on Gatorade or power aid and water of course. This was only my 2nd visit to Emagine. Marcus is closer to me. I realized, it's worth the trip. The seats are comfortable, it's less crowded, and less expensive. The MAJOR issue I have is that there is only one full public restroom area and one single user restroom. The full public restroom is located at the entrance which means if you are at the last theater on either side, you have a long way to go to get to the restroom. read more
