We are extremely happy with the end product and would go with Accent again. We shopped other larger remodelers but we were never satisfied with their very conventional designs and the others insisted that I didn't have enough space for a water closet and separate vanities. Accent gave me both and the deal was done for me. It ended up taking much longer than we anticipated to complete the work. Almost two months during which we vacated the master bedroom and moved that furniture around so the workers could have easy access to the bathroom, and we didn't want to sleep with the dust in the air. At some point in the process we changed the door for the water closet. The supplier of the door had several delays, so we were not happy about that. But several months later the bathroom is done and we love it. The workmanship is top notch, the tradesmen were great, very friendly and professional and cleaned up behind themselves. Steve & Bill were very easy to work with and the final product looks just like the drawings he did on the computer the first time we met. We would highly recommend Accent, but don't be in a hurry. If you want it to look beautiful it may take some time.

Bill Albert, the owner spent a lot of time with us asking questions, and LISTENING to our desires and dreams. He wasn't the cheapest or the most expensive, but came in within reason on price. His people were always on time, pleasant to work with, and cleaned the whole area every day before leaving. They took four weeks and one day for the whole job. Workers were at the house all but three days, so that tells me Accent is good at scheduling their trades people. Thanks again, we should have done it years sooner!

Work debris was left in an unsightly mess in the yard, Rude workers behaving inappropriately, no consultation about needs or choices of materials. if I could give less than one star I would. Poor communication skills, shoddy work, unsavory workers, sloppy and negligible clean up, cheap materials and not standing by his work or word are the hallmarks of a contractor I would avoid like the plague. We had a cash offer to close in a week and needed to address a few issues prior to closing. I reached out to Marvis on a short notice and he was able to accommodate all the fix and installation needed to sell the property. He installed for us a new furnace and also addressed multiple pipe leaks for us. His plumber actually missed a few leaks but what I really appreciate from Marvis was he took responsibility for this and sent the plumber out to address this without additional charges. He was also able to send his guys out on the weekend. What I really like about working with Marvis what there was a constant line of communication. Instead he wanted to move everything around (except the toilet, because of drain location), and create a massive bathroom that would have made the bedroom, where it was expanding into, not even big enough to put a single bed. He left not even offering to provide other options in layouts or saying he would think about other options. I felt it was all about them making as much money as possible ($40-50,000) was stated. I should just have lit a match to the $50.00 consultation fee because it was the worst money I ever spent.
