I cannot sell it nor legally drive it in the state of Oregon until this has been resolved. Do not buy from this guy, he is dishonest and prideful and there is absolutely no customer service after the sale. Brandon stated to me that 99% of the cars that he sales do not come with title-in-hand, so is it worth the hassle of not knowing ? -Updated info says that there will be a sixty day delay in receiving my title and I cannot sell it or legally drive it in Oregon (A licensed dealer cannot legally sell a car without the title in hand, as it's often a violation of state law and consumer protection, but it happens due to processing delays (like bank payoffs or out-of-state transfers). While some states allow temporary sales with proper documentation (like a Power of Attorney or surety bond), selling without a title risks significant penalties for the dealer (fines, license loss) and leaves the buyer unable to register the car, leading to potential fraud claims and legal action against the dealer.) I am following this up by filing a complaint with the Oregon state DMV fraud division and The Oregon State Attorneys consumer fraud desk.
