Worst car-buying experience I've ever had. Was told to come back to pick up the Title to the car…read more Came back when told to do so, and no Title. Drove back to Beaverton, OR. Finally got the Title in the mail. When I went to the DMV, the Title was not signed by them, so I had to go back to Vancouver from Beaverton to get them to sign the Title. When I said I wasn't happy about the inconvenience, I was I was full of bulls** and to leave. So, I would say my experience has shown they are incompetent and rude. I would not buy from there again. I have been really inconvenienced and treated poorly. Never once did I receive an apology.

In addition to that, the address belongs to a different company altogether now, but there used to be a used car lot at this address. Yelp needs to fix this so people can get accurate information. So far my experience with J & M has been very good and they are not on Caples Rd. They are on Hwy 99E

I cannot say enough about Paul and Sherry. Aside from the fact that they had the exact car I…read morewanted, the process of buying through them couldn't have left me feeling better. They're an independent, family owned and run place, so you deal with Paul and/or Sherry directly. Want to buy a car at 9pm from a high pressure salesman? Try a big dealership. Want to buy a car from people who will look you in the eye later? Check them out here. I especially liked the no haggle approach, and the quality of cars they had on the lot. They're not over priced, not under priced, just fair priced. There are special touches such as going off the lot with brand new tires from Les Schwab (and not the bottom rung either) that Paul put on before he felt comfortable selling the vehicle. The vehicles were clean, the lot was well cared for, and I got what I wanted, not handed off to the "finance manager" for the door polish plan. They do have a company they offer warranties through, but there was zero pressure to the offer. The next time I or my wife are looking for a quality used car, they'll be our first call. Honestly, I'll even wait if they don't have what I want in stock. Genuinely good human beings, and an excellent experience.

For a used car dealership they were very honest about the vehicles they have the car faxes that show how many owners and the maintenance records. As with any used car you may have problems not seen or known. The minivan I bought just had a new transmission put in and it has a 60 warranty on the transmission. They were very upfront and honest explaining that it would need new shocks soon. They let me know exactly what I was getting into and I am very happy with my 2009 Kia Sedona purchase I made today. A big thank you to Vancouver Auto center for helping me find a reliable Family car. I appreciate all your help and patience with all my questions. You guys rock.

Absolutely horrible. These guys sold my son his very first…read moretruck. He did it on his own and I am so happy and proud of him for working hard, saving money and getting a bank loan on his own to cover the difference. ** Look at the description in the ad I have attached for the truck. Pay close attention to line after line of total LIES.**. They took $15 thousand of my sons money and this truck didn't even make it home to our house. It broke down on the freeway, at night, in the rain, during rush hour. The engine shut off and left him stranded in the middle of the freeway. He was able to get it to the inside lane where it sat for hours on end until we could have it towed. The next day we had it towed back to Vancouver Auto Center and they had it sent out to service. A MONTH later he gets it back and drives it home. The truck wouldn't even start after that. Did I mention that Mo wanted to SPLIT the cost of the repair? He wouldn't even voluntarily honor his word. It wasn't until after some debated conversation he said he would cover it.... And the truck still doesn't even work. Mo is a manipulative type "A" personality who rolls everything back onto the customer as if ANY of this is my sons fault. They saw him coming a mile away and took advantage of him. He is a very responsible and respectful young man and it makes my blood boil that after four months, countless hours of issues and tow trucks and a ton of extra cash he is still without a dependable vehicle. Vancouver Auto Center should be ashamed. This is shameful. Please take your business elsewhere. Mo owes us $15k, plus extras. My son is borrowing a car and has a loan on a truck that he cant even use. Go back and read the ad about this "solid dependable" garbage. And to you Mo, none of this is my sons fault. When you speak to him dont cut him down and make him feel like an idiot because he had never bought a car before. This is on you. 100% on you. Shame on you. I'd give you zero stars if Google would allow it but you get one. Thats all you get.

This one definitely does. "Above and beyond" hardly scratches the surface of what Elysian and Vlad did to ensure that I was completely happy with my purchase. We had to deal with minor mechanical issues (it's a 12 year old car after all, maintenance history does not mean it's brand new). Elysium was honest and fair about that. When the title was found not to have been delivered by the former owner, Vlad pumped the brakes on getting paid by my banker until he was confident that the title would be in hand in very short order. Throughout these challenges he was completely transparent about what the issue was, what he was doing to resolve it, and what to expect next. A real gem of a car dealer, this one. I'll be making as many referrals as I can.

Most of the damage to the vehicle I purchased happened at Carmax while it was being processed…read more I had an SUV shipped from a Carmax in Colorado to this facility. It had a few very minor scratches that were documented. I inspected the car first thing and it looked good and I asked to take it out for a drive and we began some paperwork to make it happen. The salesperson pulled the SUV into a receiving area for my test drive. While getting in, I noticed multiple vertical deep scratches on the driver's side door I hadn't noticed when I did my preliminary walkaround inspection just 20 minutes earlier. They were actually more serious than any of the minor documented scratches disclosed when the vehicle was shipped so I didn't understand how they could have been missed. I mentioned it to the sales rep upon return and was promptly dismissed. He didn't seem concerned at all and urgently ran off to return the car to the secure lot. Maybe they became more noticeable from the different lighting and direct sunlight. He mentioned later that he had trouble putting the lockbox back on the window because it kept rolling back down while he was trying to resecure it in the full up position. The plastic wind guard trim didn't help, Im sure. Apparently the car was detecting the lockbox as an obstruction as if there was a finger in the way triggering it to fully retract as a safety feature automatically, taking the lockbox down with it. I didn't think much about his comment at first, but put it all together after the fact. When the window was rolled down, the heavy lockbox Carmax struggled to hang on the window glass scratched the door...multiple times as they were fussing with it. The scratches are vertically aligned and exactly below where the lockbox was. Most scratches are horizontal, so these were odd looking. They weren't disclosed in the car listing because the car was most likely damaged in the care of Carmax after I paid to have it shipped. Since I am already into the car for shipping costs, no matter what I do, even if I return it, I'm out at least the $800 I sunk in shipping. So even walking away would be really expensive. The 2023 SUV only had 5K miles on it. Now I own it, and it looks like hell. I'm actually ill over this for not being more assertive. They ruined a really great SUV and stuck me with their sloppy damage and negligence. It looks like it was aggressively keyed. What I ordered and shipped, wasn't what I got. Now I get to drive it around, potentially for years, looking like someone who gets their car keyed. BUYER BEWARE. Don't give Carmax ANY money in advance. Don't have a car shipped. Just wait for the right one to pop up locally. Before you drive away, do a final inspection and match up any damage with what was originally disclosed.
