Absolutely horrible. These guys sold my son his very first truck. He did it on his own and I am so happy and proud of him for working hard, saving money and getting a bank loan on his own to cover the difference. ** Look at the description in the ad I have attached for the truck. Pay close attention to line after line of total LIES.**. They took $15 thousand of my sons money and this truck didn't even make it home to our house. It broke down on the freeway, at night, in the rain, during rush hour. The engine shut off and left him stranded in the middle of the freeway. He was able to get it to the inside lane where it sat for hours on end until we could have it towed. The next day we had it towed back to Vancouver Auto Center and they had it sent out to service. A MONTH later he gets it back and drives it home. The truck wouldn't even start after that. Did I mention that Mo wanted to SPLIT the cost of the repair? He wouldn't even voluntarily honor his word. It wasn't until after some debated conversation he said he would cover it.... And the truck still doesn't even work. Mo is a manipulative type "A" personality who rolls everything back onto the customer as if ANY of this is my sons fault. They saw him coming a mile away and took advantage of him. He is a very responsible and respectful young man and it makes my blood boil that after four months, countless hours of issues and tow trucks and a ton of extra cash he is still without a dependable vehicle. Vancouver Auto Center should be ashamed. This is shameful. Please take your business elsewhere. Mo owes us $15k, plus extras. My son is borrowing a car and has a loan on a truck that he cant even use. Go back and read the ad about this "solid dependable" garbage. And to you Mo, none of this is my sons fault. When you speak to him dont cut him down and make him feel like an idiot because he had never bought a car before. This is on you. 100% on you. Shame on you. David was very nice and helpful, and the detailer did a good job with the exterior, but unfortunately, our experience with Vancouver Auto Center was mostly negative. We purchased a 2013 Ford Explorer from them, that the following day, had the "check engine" light on. I would think twice about trusting this establishment. From the beginning, they scheduled us and another group at the same time to look at the car we were interested in. At the time, we figured it was an honest mistake; however, it could have been purposely done to pressure us into a quick decision. After a test drive, my wife decided she wanted to buy it. They made the process simple and quick. After the "check engine" light turned on, we reached out to David, who comforted us and told us we could return the car and have it looked at. After dropping off the car, we received an uncomfortable phone call from Moe, where he told us they could fix it, but it would cost $1,800. But they would cover half of the cost (still almost $1,000 on top of what we just paid!). After rejecting his offer, he was dismissive of our concerns and continued to pressure us to pay for the repairs. He treated me like I was over-reacting and being unreasonable for not wanting to give them more money (ridiculous!). While this issue could be completely a coincidence, it is entirely possible that Vancouver Auto Center sold us this car knowing it had this issue, deleted the fault code, falsely advertised its condition, rushed the sale of the car, then started pushing the repair, all in an effort to get more money out of us. If I were you, I would not trust nor believe their claims and avoid buying cars from them. read more

Be careful, I know there's no warranty with used cars and buyer beware but less than a month after purchasing a Nissan Murano for $3,300, I need to put $3,400 into it for Valve Cover Gasket, Front Break Rotars and Pads, Tie Rods, etc.... You sold him a car that leaked oil, had cord showing on front tires, and bad brakes just to name a few. You made promises to fix and rectify these issues or exchange for a different vehicle. It's been over a month and you have not kept one of your promises.We have waited in good faith, but you have done nothing but stall and continue to string my son along. Please if you are looking to buy a vehicle whether Used or New, PLEASE try another location. The owner and some stuffs are so unprofessional. They will take advantage of you forcing you to buy the vehicle and just let you go. I just purchased a used SUV and just had a lot of problems, first the shaking which is transmission when accelerating, second was the AC/ pipes were leaking. They took our vehicle to the auto shop for few days, during the time, we had to rent our own back up vehicle because we didn't have any vehicles also the auto shop didn't offer us any temporary vehicle or a loaner to at at least wait for our vehicle to be done. I had spent almost $1,000 for then rental. The word they use' They promised us and will take care of us" which they don't even care, After few days, they called and stated it's all done and they fixed the problem. A week past, same problem with the vehicle, which this was very frustrating because every time I try to call them, no response or bad communication, after a few attempts to reach them, they text back and said to drop off the vehicle back to the shop, dropped the vehicle off, was trying to ask for a loaner, Louie which was the one helping us gave us a small vehicle which wasn't safe to drive, the seat belts were broken which is unsafe, gas cover was always open while driving, one signal wasn't working, gas was empty. After about a week they called and said to pick up the vehicle because it's all fixed and done. So we had to go back to get the vehicle, while driving back home from the auto shop, we noticed that they haven't even worked on it, I notice they just put Freon for a bit to pretend that it's all done. AC was still hot after few hours, had to wait till the morning to see if there's some changes but still nothing. Had to call them but they declined to help us and always state that we are now responsible for it. I texted the owner Moe telling him the problems again, but which he threatened us with his text, saying he will cancel our warranty for putting a bad review. Please, please, please, don't ever go to this" VANCOUVER AUTO CENTER" company because owner and some staffs will make you feel uncomfortable and will make you lose more money. read more

Very good experience with these gentleman. I came in for 2010 Prius. They were upfront with the little issues it might have let me scan it, the owner told me to drive it as long as I need to make sure I like it Retail was about 8700. They had it listed for 6,300 as a firm cash deal. We worked with Gabe who has great enthusiasm and knowledge as a salesman. Soon after Bill entered the picture and we found a car we liked. It was as is no warranty but they assured us that if there were any issues we could exchange it. Well after about 10 miles of driving the car would only go about 20mph. We had it towed back; We (Bill, their in house mechanic and my husband and i ) test drove it but it worked fine. Again they promised if issues arise, bring it back. We a horrible experience with this business! My husband went on a test drive, fortunately, I stayed behind. The drive line fell off the truck that he was test driving and I had to come rescue my husband and the salesman. My husband decided to put $1,000. down on the truck, Vancouver Auto center promised they would fix it and call us when it was ready. No one ever called us. Every time we called, we were given a story. We were even told that the salesman that asked for our down payment had retired. Skip ahead 2 months, we still did not have the truck and when we called to see when it would be ready, we were told that if we called one more time, they would cancel the sale. We decided this was no way to treat customers and drove the 2.5 hours down there to get our refund. The owner, Moe, refused the refund and said if we wanted our money back, we had to call our bank and dispute the transaction. I also want to add that the salesman that we had been told had retired was working at the car lot the day we went to get our refund. Since we cancelled this transaction, we have noticed that the truck we put the money down on is miraculously now on their lot again and up for sale for 1k more than they wanted from us. Idk where to start except the beginning. You can't make this up, I swear. I bought a used 2998 Subaru Forester. Within a 9 days, the manual transmission progressively got worse to where it would not move forward. Had it towed to them. They replaced the vehicle. While almost arguing for my legal right, lemon laws, under 30 days, the owner 33 yr old man, asks me if I like younger men. I laugh and said how old r u. He said 33. I'm 62. I said no. Then he said Bill, the sales manager, likes me. Whatever. I take the car and leave. It needs to be detailed but I'm never going back here. So then, the starter in the new car, 2006 Chev HHR, goes out. After him being upset that I said I feel ripped off by you men, him arguing and him calling me entitled and not letting me answer any question. He has a new starter put in, I paid $119.00 for that service. Still no detailing. Bill still wants to call me, winking at me, ugh. Owner says, we take all of that back, hitting on you. Please!! I leave. The day after my 30 day lemon laws, the engine completely fails and I. Looking at almost 6 grand to replace it with a 117K mile used engine. That is more than both junk cars they sold me. And to top it all off, I had to pay licensing and tax for both cars even tho the second car was cheaper. I paid cash for everything. both cars. The little 33 year old owner man was trying to belittle me saying do I see his lot with expensive cars? I'm gonna pray for these men. I ask you to pray for me too. The cars will be clean but you will have maintenance issues and when you do, they will be very unprofessional and unwilling to help you with anything. Especially Moe, the owner. The next day after I bought my car, it wouldn't start. I took it to their preferred shop to fix it but the issue returned. Now I'm I have to spend about $1500 to replace the faulty ESL and purchase another key. The car has been broken longer than I had a chance to ride it. I wouldn't deal with them in the future. If you do decide to, PLEASE take it to a reputable mechanic to thoroughly check it out before you make a purchase. Very shady business there. read more

I wish there was the option to give a negative star rating. My son and daughter in law were taken advantage of by this dealership. Being a young naive couple and desperate for a car before their second child was born they took thier tax return to this lot. They left with a car that had multiple major issues. They were not even able to drive it back to the coast where they live. They found out it has a blown head gasket, valve cover gasket leak, oil pan leak, water pump issues and the pano roof is broke. The lot has refused to work with them and even threatened them. When they were signing the paperwork the sales person kept telling them that they needed to hurry up because they were getting ready to close so not giving them time to read or ask any questions. When they said they wanted a family member to advise them they were told that they needed to hurry and tge proce would not be honored if they left. Now they have a car that is broke and they used all their money to buy. My son has MS so is on a fixed income and his wife is a high risk pregnancy so is not able to work right now. Do not buy a car here. They are awful!! read more

I went here looking for a reliable used car Moe and Chris helped me and as I was looking they let me know of any problems the cars had. Such as a broken ac or needed a hose fixed. For a used car dealership they were very honest about the vehicles they have the car faxes that show how many owners and the maintenance records. As with any used car you may have problems not seen or known. The minivan I bought just had a new transmission put in and it has a 60 warranty on the transmission. They were very upfront and honest explaining that it would need new shocks soon. They let me know exactly what I was getting into and I am very happy with my 2009 Kia Sedona purchase I made today. They made a big show out of how they were losing $400 on this car. Now I know why: they were in it for too much, and it had a blow head gasket and they knew it. The day after I bought this 2006 Scion tC the heater wasn't blowing heat anymore like it did the night before. I discovered there was a coolant leak, but couldn't find it at first. The radiator, and hoses were okay, and because it was an easy fix, I replaced the thermostat. When topped off and burped, the heater works fine for a few hours, so I know the water pump and heater core work. After much research and troubleshooting I determined the leak was at the back of the engine, soaking the big foam pad that is the intake manifold insulator, so it must be a blown head gasket. I haven't tested the coolant for contamination but the oil is not getting coolant in it because it's not milky. After speaking to several people, it was suggested I try a chemical head gasket repair, so I tried the BarS brand product and also replaced the radiator cap since it was not holding pressure. It did not stop the coolant leak, however. I was driving the car, and refilling the spent coolant every day, then last week I changed the coolant completely and the oil and oil filter. The next night, I tried to start the car and it was running poorly, stumbling and shaking badly. I got it home and tested the engine code to find a misfire on cylinder 1. I pulled the ignition coil and spark plug to find both covered in oil. So now the car sits parked in my driveway with a bad head gasket, possibly also a bad valve cover gasket. I can't drive the car, and am trying to decided if I can tear it apart with some help and do these repairs at home, or if I need to shop for a new engine. I definitely can't afford to pay a mechanic to do it all for me. Or I may chalk it up to lesson learned: Don't Buy From Vancouver Auto Center. read more

We were upset with the hassle of getting the title and all the paperwork switched over (lost title) but felt that was the flip to buying at wholesale price. However BEWARE, make sure you get everything checked on the car before you buy!!!! We are only 2 months in and the car is totaled due to engine trouble. Bought my wife a Mercedes ML, this is the second purchase from Vancouver auto center. I know for a fact I asked too many questions because I wanted to make sure the car is in great condition before purchasing it. The gentleman that helped me out showed me the carfax which reassured me that the vehicle was not in any kind of reck and showed me all the maintenance records as well the work that they put into it. Highly recommend them.
