On my Birthday 9 months ago (January 28th) I came in and bought a 2007 Audi A6. I fell in love with the car. It's my fault however for not heeding any warning signs or getting it inspected. To be fair, I really liked these guys. But every time I drove away the engine light came on. They kept "fixing" it. I think that was a mechanic issue though because they were having a difficult time keeping a good one. In April, the engine light was finally fixed and I went and got some tags. (I had spent 4 months with the wrong license plates(that they gave me) on and no tags previous to that) They had been driving this car prior to selling it. So there were more miles than the picture. I didn't mind, but it was also super dirty and not ready for me to drive off in. They wouldn't replace the dead battery either after telling me it was fine (it wasn't fine). I got over this stuff and left with a beautiful car, and then put a battery in it. I finally got around to having an Audi specialist take a deeper look. He told me that I should have never bought the car, that there are 5 oil leaks in different places that have been leaking for a long time, that I had a leak in my water hose and that that coolant leak had deteriorated some hose in there for a long time too. I'm only 19. I didn't know all of the ins and outs and life lessons involved with buying a car. I should have listened to help, but they seemed so genuine. With how deep they got into my cars engine and what not, unfortunately I think they knew about the other issues. It makes me sad cause I was planning on coming back. But now I just feel screwed and there isn't much I can do 9 months after the fact, besides either fix this car for over 5000 that I've yet to even pay off, or try to get a different car. The whole thing is so difficult to grasp, I thought it just needed some tlc. I'm stupid for coming here, for buying the car, for not having it inspected. The list goes on. The sales person had me put gas in and promised me $20 (Jeff Black, nor the owner even care about making that right). Then the car. Or my $$$$ lawn ornament since the day I picked up my plates. I should have know better, the day I sat down to talk to the salesman the owner was outside screaming at an irate woman who called the police on him. We bought a used Audi. The wheel bearing was bad and they agreed to replace it. They did a half ass job and didn't bother to put the wheel back on all the way so 2 miles down I5 we came screeching to a hault. If the wheel would have come off completely we could have been killed. This dealership is an absolute scam, they put cars up on the website with false information to get you into their shop, and give you a horrible deal. I get it we go to these places for a reason, because we have bad credit, but that does NOT give anyone the right to treat us like this. They sold us a bad car knowingly, they lied about the work being done on it, they don't take responsibility for any of it, the salesman is mysteriously not working there anymore (it's only been 4 days since we bought the car) and can't even drive it because it has over $13,000 worth of repairs. Long story short save your money. Wait until your credit gets better. Trust the reviews (I cannot urge that enough...this place has a 1.5 star review for a reason but remember WE WERE DESPERATE. It's not worth it. You will lose everything you have saved up for to this dealership and they will make your credit score go so deep in the hole without even batting an eyelash. If you want to save yourself the anxiety attacks, money, and avoid going to small claims court then stay far away from Hot Wheels Dealership. They prey on people like us. This has to stop. I am taking this to small claims court and I urge any of you that have had an experience like this from them to step up and do something about it too. They can't keep getting away with this behavior, we matter too bad credit and all. Also do not let them tell you otherwise. Absolutely terrible. Do not trust these guys. I purchased a car from Hot Wheels, paid in full, in August of 2016. When I brought my paperwork to my state (I do not live in Washington) to register my car, the dealership had NEVER SIGNED THE CAR OFF TO ME. The people at the DMV looked at me like I had stolen the car and the paperwork. The issue was resolved with Hot Wheels after a week. Now? It's the first month of 2017 and the car has been making metal grinding noises in the engine. I brought it to a Volkswagen Dealership (the car is a VW) and what do you know? The transmission is blown, leaking transmission fluid everywhere and the car needs to be junked. Now I'm out $6k for a piece of crap car that I drove for what? Not even 5 months? Worst decision I ever made in my 48 years was doing business with this car lot. My daughter wanted an xterra. They had one. Spoke nothing but great about it. Said it was a trade in. Said they inspect all trades thoroughly. All BULLSHIT !! We purchased as lot was closing. As we drove home from lot, the check engine light went on. Called them the next morning. He said we bought it "as is" but to bring it back and they would take a look. They said it 12 as fixed. We picked it up. Within an hour...Boom...light back on. Took it to DEQ...would not pass. Took it back to them, they sent to another shop because they could not fix it. Payment came due WHILE THEY HAD RHE TRUCK...and they teied ro charge me a $20 PER DAY late fee....even though they had rhe vehicle more than I did since purchasing it. After throwing a fit, they waived the fee as a "Courtesy". You have to be kidding me. Didn't stop there. A week later engine was smoking. Took to mechanic and was told it had manifold gasket leak, power steering leak and when rhe ne ganic for under the car, he said we were dammed lucky ut had not caught on fire, his hands...and the scratch plate underneath were COVERED In oil. There was NO WAY they could have examined this prior to selling. I had the vehicle for 1 and a half years and put in over 2000 I to it, including a newly rebuilt engine. Then I decided to go trade in the vehicle. Rhats when all my fears were confirmed. I went to SIX dealers and found cars, started trading in process. I had a pay off of just over $1200. All six agreed that they could take trade in....UNTIL THEY FOUND OUT IT QAS HOTWHEELS. I was literally told. By FOUR of the six dealers, that they will NOT take ANY vehicle from hotwheels, nor will they do any business with hotwheels and one lot told me they were not interested in doing business with me if I choose that kind of person to do business with. Horrible, Horrible, Horrible. Luckily, found an amazing lot, that knew of their charades and actually sold us a car, then turned around and gave us all the profit he made on the car, and told me to pay off the exterra and get out from under the leach of a lot. OMG, run away, do not walk away from this place. I found a truck on the internet I was interested in. I called 3 or 4 times to discussed different aspects of a truck they had for sale. Its condition, origins, things it needed to have done, etc. The carfax did not list any issues and it had only 2 owners none of which were fleets or rental companies. Good start. The dealership assured me over and over again the truck and all of its functions were in good working order. I said I was going to have to spend over $100 to get to them by train and it would take me about three hours. I asked them to be completely transparent as I did not want to waste their time or mine. They repeatedly assured me everything was in good working order. There was a ton of stuff wrong with this POS. Maybe it was completely fine three days ago and two days ago and even this morning. Maybe there was a zombie apocalypse in Vancouver that failed to make the news and the zombies damaged the truck between my leaving Tacoma on Amtrak and arriving at the dealership thee hours later. It could happen, right?! Here is what they "forgot" to mention: 1. The truck was permanently stuck in 4WD. They were in the process of "fixing" it. Yeah, yeah... fixing it. That's the ticket! 2. The door locks did not work correctly automatically and at least the drivers side door lock worked very poorly even with a fair amount of force applied. 3. The power mirrors did not work at all. 4. There were three error codes showing up on the dash. One for coolant, one for the transmission and one for something else that I unfortunately do not remember. 5. The truck made 45 to 90 degree right turns on its own. Code for it pulled HARD to the right. It was incapable of holding a straight line. 6. The transmission surged/jerked when pushed hard. 7. There was a dime size chip with an 18 inch long crack in the windshield left side eye level. 8. The entire paint job on the passengers side front fender has a rash of bb sized bubbles that covered the entire topside of the fender. They said it was a clear coat issue. It was under the paint, not the clear coat. 9. It had a heavy and distinct smell of burning motor oil as we drove down the road. He assured me it had been a quart down and that he spilled some when topping it off... hummm, who was a quart low? We get back and I told the sales guy there was no way I was buying the truck. A little guy, I assume his boss, asks what's wrong? I go down the list in an honest and straight forward manner. He snarls at me and says, and I quote, have a nice walk back to Tacoma. Now that is excellent customer service! There was more, but you get the point. You would have to be a certified moron to buy from these guys. If you are a certified moron, Call. This guy will finance you a lemon, with a smile and a weak handshake. The only time in my life I can say I got literally screwed. Got the orange colored HHR halffway home and all the dashlight idiot dingers went off like it wasthe 4th of july. Car had no oil 4 quarts low, it only holds 4.7qrt....over a gallon low on coolant. The trans is sealed and cant afford to have it looked at yet. But it keeps.locking in gear and killing the engine at stop lights and slow turns. Worst place i have ever dealt with. PLEASE believe all the reviews on here!!! I let myself get talked into buying a truck that has a "perfect" car fax that the airbag light came on during test drive, it pulled hard right and i was told that "thats because of the bad roads in Vancouver"... didnt notice but had two different set of nearly bald tires on it. I spoke with the salesman on the phone, and told him my situation and the details of what i needed for my payment to be etc. I get assured 1000 times we got you financed easy!!! I make the trip to Vancouver and am told i need more down (which i told him didnt have) and that his finance guy is trying his hardest to get me financed. Finally it would seem we come to an agreement and i take the truck home. After about a week of having the truck the salesman calls me and says we couldn't get you financed on the terms you needed, so if you want to keep the truck you'll have to find your own financing. On top of all that he says "well you signed the backup contract that says we can finance you here and it will be like 30% interest." PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!COMPLETE SCAM ARTISTS!!! And i agree with other reviewers, the salesman did seem like he was tweaking on something, jumpy, talking a mile a minute, and quick to get angry if you dont just automatically agree with his bulls*it. I new what I wanted and really didn't want to hear the bs that will often come from dealerships (note: I sold cars for a couple of years and completely understand the way it works). But they did! I was super excited. On the test drive the check engine light was on and they said they would have it inspected. The manager craig said that after looking at it that it was a low battery and they had just replaced it so it would go away soon. They set me up on a loan to pay my down payment i just had to pay it by the end of the month I was told. And they would put good tires on it since it was almost bald. Later they called and tried to repo the car, the tires they had put on were not much better and they obviously never looked at the check engine code. Now I'm having to pay out the ass to fix the EGR problem that was wrong with it. There was also a lady protesting outside not to buy cars from here which I should've taken as a sign but I cannot emphasize enough do not buy cars from here. Jeff and one other man (I could not remember his name) Seems as if they are on drugs. Both were very rude and we're not at all helpful. After a short conversation with them I immediately left. When telling a friend about my experience here, she told me she bought a car from them and it broke down as soon as they drove it off the lot. They said she signed a contract and wouldn't fix anything but they sold her a car that was broken down in the first place. Apparently a majority of their cars do not run well and have problems but they sell them anyway. These people are crooks. Please do not purchase vehicles from them. read more

I bought a used car from Hot Wheels, and while the car is actually pretty great, the service that I got a hot wheels after the sale was made was negligent, unprofessional, and probably criminal. Sticking straight to the facts, I bought a car with a known wheel bearing issue. They offered to fix the wheel bearing. Two weeks later, after much pestering, I got my car back. The wheel wasn't put back on properly, and nearly fell off on the freeway. That caused further damage, that HotWheels agreed to fix, but three weeks after that event, they refused, put the spare on (incorrectly again), and threatened to call the sheriff if I didn't pick my car up immediately. They kept my car for more than a month and returned it to me in worse shape than when I bought it. My mechanic who fixed the issue in two days said that I was lucky to be alive given the state of the car they gave me. On top of it all, they held the title to my car, claiming it was lost, which was untrue and with some help from the DMV, the title was returned to me. I can't explain how unprofessional and negligent their behavior was through this whole process , or how unpleasant the experience was.... I am not an experienced car buyer, but I know enough to understand that this was an abnormally bad experience. There are lots of decent dealers out there, I would do your research and definitely skip the misery of dealing with these people. read more

Went in for a used truck. Should have been tipped off by the terrible cleaning job they did. However, Richard assured us that their mechanics were better than their cleaners and the car was in working order. He seemed like an honest guy, very personable and not pushy. We trusted him. We should not have. They became very pushy when it came time to get their money. Despite a deposit, they insisted on driving to Portland to pick up the check instead of waiting until we could drive it to them the NEXT day. Figured out why - check engine light came on on the way to DEQ. We contacted Richard and he seemed willing to work with us and help. Got the codes checked and saw they had been previously cleared. Red Flag!! Possibly a gas cap issue so we bought a new one. It was NOT the gas cap. Engine light is back on. Richard stopped responding and the manager, Pete, is completely uninterested in helping. I understand the risk of buying a used car. However, we were sold a car that they told us had been thoroughly checked over and was in good working order. My question? Who cleared the codes? Highly suspicious seeing as they were in such a hurry to get their money and couldn't wait even one business day. Turns out they're another sleezy dealer erasing codes and selling cars as if they had actually been tuned up. Be very careful purchasing a car from them. read more
