A licensed contractor ( Rooter Man , go there!! Manuel is God sent) inspected in person and repaired the system for $7,200 with certification. This company is extremely unprofessional and disappointing to say the least. We have been going back and forth with them about an issue regarding our septic pipe lines for weeks while being misinformed every time. On top of that Ely Jr has been very difficult to connect with and has therefore further delayed our project. As if this wasn't enough, now he ended up quoting us for more than triple the amount we discussed and not didn't return our calls or emails to at least explain the astronomical price change. I had a 66 year old septic system that had NO access, never had been service, pumped or had an issue in the entire 66 years. We knew that we had been fortunate and were on borrowed time. Ely Jr was recommended by a friend. Ely Jr met me at my house and spent over an hour discussing my options. He knows what he is talking about! Ely Jr's crew started excavating the following week and worked for 6 days at the house. When they were finished I had s properly functioning, empty and clean septic tank. They added a filter as well. I can't speak to Ely Jr.'s pumping service, but I can speak to his driving. I was driving home on PCH on what should have been a beautiful and relaxing afternoon. Approaching a construction zone - 25 mph speed limit, two very narrow lanes (and I drive a Honda Fit), and men working on the shoulder) - I looked up to see nothing but Ely Jr.'s grill in my rear view mirror! I was going as fast as I could because there were at least three cars in front of me. He continued hard on my tail through the construction zone. As soon as there was a passing lane, I let him pass. He sped up and rode the tail of the car in front of me (who was also going as fast as he could because there were cars in front of him). I could tell that this driver was also frustrated, because he was tapping his brakes to try to get Ely Jr. to back off. Ely Jr. continued to tailgate until we were past Pt. Mugu and the road widened to two lanes. We were lucky there wasn't an accident. Ely Jr. made the day a little bit worse for everyone who was on the road this afternoon! read more

Really unacceptable. If you are considering using them, keep looking. I ended up having to pay them a bunch of money and still hire someone else to to the inspection. Three times they promised to show up. Three times I pumped my septic tank and paid someone to wait for them at the scheduled time. Three times they didn't show and didn't even have the courtesy or organization to at lease call and let me know. Instead they showed up randomly days later unannounced and I had to scramble to get someone there to help them. Predictably, each time they said there was now too much water in my tank and we needed to schedule another time. Worse, once they did come I couldn't get answers to my questions. I keep getting one-sentence answers from their secretary. I've never heard a single word directly from someone who has seen my tank and can give me the answer I need. It's a game of twenty questions with these guys. read more

Terrible Experience They replaced our septic system We had a week of raw sewage going into a pit They then used my ladder and garden hose in the pit with the raw sewage. They did not want to replace them for me. I don't want a ladder and hose that has had raw sewage all over it They finally paid for new ladder and hose What made me the maddest is they drove over a $600 outdoor umbrella with their excavator and wanted to give me $30 to replace it. They never did pay for umbrella I have photos of it They use your tools and destroy personal property Would never recommend them!!! read more

We called Ely in a panic last week as our septic tank was backing up. We are having family stay with us for Christmas and needed the system serviced ASAP. Betty in the office explained that they didn't have a pumping appointment available until after Christmas, but she would make sure Ely stopped by to inspect our system. Although we have used Ely for many years, I called other pumping companies to see if we could get someone out sooner...no luck. They were all booked until after New Years. Ely came yesterday and, after seeing the panic on my wife's face called his office to see if they could get someone out right away. Their truck arrived a few hours later and our system was pumped.
