The first company that came out charged me $99 for an inspection and estimate and claimed that I needed to replace all my vents (switching from single-wall to double-wall). Pablo, however, explained that this was unnecessary -- he could redo sections and install a new cap on the roof for about a quarter of the other company's estimate. During my research, I also considered installing a tankless water heater to avoid dealing with vents altogether and obtained estimates for that option. Pablo offered to install a high-quality tankless at a reasonable price, while other companies suggested lower-quality units at equal or higher prices. I decided to accept Pablo's bid and am glad I did, because he provided excellent work. I really appreciate his reasonable pricing and straightforward approach. He also responded to my request quickly and went out the same day to inspect the issue and completed the work the following morning.
