I found this yoga studio thru my Classpass membership. It is a bit pricier per class compared to yoga classes at other gyms but I think the quality makes it worthwhile.
I have taken 3 classes here so far.
2 Power yoga classes:
Wow, my first class kicked my butt. I was sore for a couple days after this class and I was sweating hard during all the chaturangas. This was a solid, intermediate level yogi workout.
My second class was very personalized since there was only me and one other participant. It was less difficult cardio-wise, but it was definitely hard on my smaller muscles as it was focused on improving balance!
Yin/yang yoga - this is a restorative style evening yoga meant to reconnect your mind-body and it was such a nice way for me to end a stressful workweek. Definitely felt mentally re-aligned afterwards and slept well that night.
Studio is small and cozy. There is an ac unit that blasts cold air continuously. Wood floor is generally clean. They have mats, blocks, bolsters, and straps for use.
My only issue is that this location is far from my house. I'll try to make more classes but distance is my issue. read more
