We stayed at the adjoining hotel La Siuranella for 2 nights on a rock climbing trip through northern Spain.
First off, breakfast (included with a stay there): classic Catalunya spread of dried and smoked meats, cheeses, yogurt, fresh juice, and coffee and tea. Plus they brought out a some potato and eggs as well. All very good.
Dinner: absolutely wonderful. We were the only people there that night so we basically had a waiter and a chef there just for us. Crazy. Local wine was great. We picked the Chef's choice 5 course meal, which was whatever he/she wanted to serve up. Every single item that came out over the next 2 hours was awesome! It culminated with a handmade desert, made right at our table. A wonderful experience that I would recommend to anyone going to the area. read more
