It's a tiny spot located on the outskirts of town (at least, that's how it felt for us as we were walking around, though I'm sure that's not true...) The three people that we encountered on our two visits were warm and welcoming, and brewed up some dang fine coffee!
We stayed in on our first visit. We needed to waste a bit of time before meeting up for our Rabbie's day tour, and we wanted somewhere warm and comfortable to sit for a bit. They have a couch and a couple comfy chairs, as well as a couple of tables for one to lounge at. We settled in on the couch to enjoy our coffee.
On our first visit, I got a cortado, knowing that the caffeine would help, and the small serving size wouldn't wreak havoc with my bladder (Rabbie's vans don't have bathrooms on board!) My husband ordered a latte, of course.
Both drinks were expertly made and full of flavor. We were offered a bit of butter tablet, but we both declined this round.
We got our drinks to go on our second visit (our last day in town). I went with a regular hot chocolate, and my husband got another latte. This time I did take the offered butter tablet, and I'm so glad I did. It somehow cut the sweetness of the cocoa...or maybe the cocoa cut the sweetness of the tablet. I don't know what it was, but they worked surprisingly well together!
We'd definitely make it a point to stop in for warm caffeinated drinks if we're lucky enough to visit Inverness in the future.
