Short Version: It was perfect. Longer Version: Knowing that weddings can cost tens of thousands of dollars, we had been trying to figure out a way to get married without spending a fortune. We considered many options and the sheer number of variables was a bit overwhelming. Then we discovered Elope Niagara Little Log Wedding Chapel. Everything on the website looked great, but we wondered whether they would be LGBT friendly. Then we noticed their Same-Sex Gallery which answered that question. We booked in March for an October wedding and right from the beginning, they were very prompt and professional in responding to us. We had some special needs and they were very accommodating. We signed the contract for the Classic #3 Package and sent the very reasonable deposit. All questions were answered right away. On the day of the wedding, everything went as planned. It had seemed like a lot to get done in less than an hour, but Kathy and Kim had clearly developed a system that made the wedding special without feeling rushed. Our more than 50 photo proofs came more quickly than expected. They were so great that we couldn't choose just the 15 included in our package. They offered us the complete set at a very reasonable price, so, we got them all. My husband and I recommend Elope Niagara Little Log Wedding Chapel to any couple who wants to make it official at a very reasonable price. read more

Kathy and Kim made our wedding day SO special and easy. We were traveling to Niagara Falls from the U.S., so they offered a lot of advice to help us plan our elopement trip - including where to get our marriage license, a nearby hotel, and local places to sight-see. They also provided very helpful, detailed instructions about the drive to the venue, which made things more stress-free. We chose the Classic 2 package, which meant the ceremony was about 10 minutes long, and the photography session lasted roughly 20 minutes. Kathy navigated us through the ceremony and took such great photos! She sent us contact sheets afterwards with all of our photo options so we could choose our favorites as part of the package. They were so good that we opted to purchase extras! We're thrilled with the experience and would recommend it to anyone! read more

Elope Niagara was the best way to get married, in my humble opinion. This intimate location makes for a great place to get married - picturesque, beautiful, and free from prying eyes. The team at Elope Niagara are kind, caring, and helpful. They make this your special day from the initial contact, sending over email reminders with helpful tips, and making sure your day is as positive and loving as it should be. I can't say enough how much I recommend Elope Niagara. They are the tried and true way to get married in Niagara. I don't have a negative thing to say about them! We had our little ceremony and got some pictures taken after and they were all so beautiful (and came way faster than expected!). If you want to get eloped, this is the best business in the area. We were just married here 11/10/2016. It was such a wonderful experience. We wanted something small and intimate, but still beautiful and memorable. Elope Niagara was the perfect choice. I interacted with Kim for majority of our experience and she was very kind, very responsive, and extremely helpful. The benefit of getting married here is that the ladies make it as easy as it can get. For our package, the venue, minister, music, wedding cupcakes, bouquet, photos, and limo were included. The wedding bouquet was delivered right to our hotel room door. The limo driver, Dave, was courteous and took us on a beautiful scenic drive to and from the chapel. Reverend Deb (our officiant) was friendly, funny, and eloquent. She put us right at ease. The property that the chapel sits on is magnificent. There are dozens of trees, there is a small lake, and there is a wonderful walkway. The ladies of Elope Niagara have created several prop areas so you literally have an entire photo shoot after you're married. They customize the photos to what works for you and your look. The photos that we got back well exceeded our expectations. From the time of booking our wedding all the way through execution, Elope Niagara was just the kind of experience anyone would want on their wedding day. It doesn't matter who you are, what you look like, how you want to customize your wedding, or how fancy/casual you want it to be, Elope Niagara can make a wedding experience tailored just for you. read more

What a wonderful experience we recently had here. It is such a delightfully quaint setting. The chapel was cozy and so romantic with the candlelit add-on and the property beautiful and peaceful. Kim and Kathy were a pleasure to work with from the first phone call up to the big day! They both make you feel so very welcome. The ceremony was touching and heartfelt. The mini photo session was fun and did not feel rushed at all. The photos were ready sooner than expected and they were so wonderful. We took advantage of their preferred vendors list from accommodations, flowers, hair and makeup, transportation and dinner afterwards and we were so happy we did as it truly made for a stress-free day. My husband (I love saying that lol) and I were married on January 6th, 2017 at Elope Niagara. Our experience was amazing! Talk about low stress to organize, it was exactly what we were looking for. From the moment we called to inquire and booked our minds were put at ease. The day of the wedding was the coldest day of the year and the chapel was warm and toasty and romantic with all the candles lit up. The service did not feel rushed but it was not long and drawn out either and the words spoken were genuine words of being together and love. We were sold on the view of the property and desperately wanted outside pictures even with the temperature being so low. Kathy took pictures while Kim followed me around with my warm winter jacket assisting me to put it on to warm up and take it off to snap pictures. They truly went above and beyond to give us exactly what we wanted. We received our pictures in a timely manner and they were amazing they snapped pictures and caught moments I didn't realize they had which made it even more special. That made me feel that they were in the moment with us taking notice. read more

We are Niagara Falls Ontario Canada's only waterfront little log chapel located on a private log home setting on a pretty little creek that runs of off the famous Niagara River! Our log chapel is perfect for 2-10 people and our wedding packages include professional photography, and an officiant to perform a non-denominational romantic ceremony. Our serene country setting is away from the hustle and bustle of the city of Niagara Falls and only a 15 minute drive into the countryside . Couples love our intimate elopement and destination wedding style packages with many add-ons available including Limo. We also offer a drive-through wedding service. Quick and easy "paperwork only" style legal weddings suit the needs of those looking for a quick civil ceremony and perfect for those having Caribbean weddings and needing to do the legalities in Canada.

Our little log chapel was created out of customer demand! We are both professional photographers who have photographed literally 1000's of elopement style weddings over the last 25 years. The common thread for each couple was that they wanted something intimate and private, not located in a public area. So we built a gorgeous little log chapel located on a private log home waterfront setting!

They did a phenomenal job!…read more The long review: From the very beginning, they made the whole process very easy for us - not only the DJ and music selection elements, but the entire wedding. We had an initial walk-through with Shane (owner/manager), Steve (MC) and Ross (DJ), who asked us a few questions so they could better understand us and make recommendations for our wedding - e.g. what kind of music we like, how did I my wife and I meet, how would we describe each other, etc... This walkthrough was very helpful as we had no idea what we were doing and gave us a good idea of what to expect and what we needed to prepare in the coming months. To add another layer of difficulty, we were trying to coordinate a wedding in Niagara on the Lake, ON, while living in Boston, Massachusetts. They checked-in with us from time to time with more elements to consider and to discuss the details of the timeline for our wedding. As we got closer to the event date, we had a few Skype sessions with Steve, our MC. We provided him with some very ambiguous and open-ended information about our bridesmaids, groomsmen and parents that he was able to, somehow, turn into beautiful introductions for each person before they gave their speeches. Steve not only went above and beyond prior to the event to make us feel comfortable with how things were going to go, but during the event as well - introducing his great sense of humor throughout without overpowering the event. Steve was so beloved, in fact, that at the end of the event much of the wedding party asked to have them join them for drinks while they continued the celebrations that night. Ross was the DJ during the event. As a half "American", half Ukrainian wedding, we threw a very complicated set at him. We gave him songs that were in another language with varying styles that he needed to balance with a mix of traditional jazz and 90s pop music. He was able to pull this off without a hitch and read the crowd very well. Ross was great about taking requests from the guests. We had a diverse group of people - with equally diverse tastes - whose requests he was able to satisfy and blend into the overall style/feel we wanted for the evening. We also had Sound of Harmony provide blue uplights - which we highly recommend as well. It added a nice feel around the room where we felt something would have been missing otherwise. It's a small addition, but makes a big impact. We couldn't have asked for a better team to DJ our event. Working with them was by far the easiest part of wedding planning. The day of the wedding we still had a lot of things to keep in mind and take care of but the DJ and the MC were not one of them. We are truly thankful for all their hard work! They absolutely nailed it!

This large open space has various pieces of historical info about the Darwin Martin House, but it also provides a venue for a cocktail party (up to 150), a formal sit down dinner (up to 100) or a lecture space. I like this space because it is long, open and has unobstructed views throughout. You can really see what is happening from anywhere in the space. You will overlook the Darwin Martin House from this (mostly windows) space. Its an unobstructed view. Gorgeous day or night. The restrooms are modern and functional. There is a space for coatracks, or you can have a coat check. I'm not sure if there is a choice of caterers, but the food I have had at a few events has been good. The service professional and unobtrusive. Its available 7 days a week for rentals. While they don't do weddings or wedding receptions here, they are open for anything else, including the rehearsal dinner. It unique and beautiful. You can decorate to make it "your own" too. Where do I even start? I can't recommend Elope Niagara enough! Kim and Kathy were such a pleasure to work with and the tips/tricks and best practices they provided were incredibly valuable. As a United States citizen with a divorce that is considered foreign to the Canadian government there were a lot of obstacles to work through in order to obtain a marriage license but Kim and Kathy provided us with all the information up front that we would need to correctly and quickly navigate this unfamiliar process. Make note - the representatives that work at Service Ontario (who process the foreign divorce paperwork) were also very helpful to work with and can help escalate urgency where needed. Kim and Kathy even helped us to bypass some of the busier City Halls for the actual marriage license appointment and sent us to Debby (who was also lovely and helpful) in Thorold. The ceremony was just perfect for us and our 3 kids in the little log chapel with the candle option. The photo session afterwards was amazing and we purchased them all at a really great price after seeing all the proofs online (which only took 1 day). The small details on the property were the absolute best - little signs along the driveway, the kiosk, the tractor, the cookies and much more. I can't say enough about this place and their owner/operators. We felt so safe and welcomed as a same sex couple and were even given the option to purchase a wooden ornament with TWO BRIDES for charity after the photos. If you are looking to elope or say your I DO's with just a few in the crowd then this is the place. Thank you again Kim and Kathy. read more

A Hassle-Free Wedding Planning Experience! Planning a wedding can be a daunting task, but our experience with Elope Niagara was seamless. Their wedding packages were conveniently listed online, detailing the perks and prices. We chose the "Express A" package with the drive through kiosk. We inquired via email and received a prompt response with all the answers we needed. After a quick phone call to secure the date, Kim provided us with all the necessary information and what to expect on our big day! On the day of the wedding, Kathy sent us picture references which made it easier to navigate through the area. We arrived early and found the parking with ease. As the wedding time approached, we drove along the designated path and met with Kim and the stunning venue. We opted for the picture bundle and took some amazing shots with the surrounding trees and décor. Kim's photography skills were quite impressive and captured our special moments nicely. PERFECT!!! I cannot begin to even say enough good things about Elope Niagara. They were there every step of the way for our wedding. Staff is incredibly knowledgable and can answer any questions you have fairly quickly. We had a halloween wedding and it was AMAZING, comes complete with Jack Skellington!! Rev Deb specialized our vows to fit our spooky day and the Ghoully-weds couldn't have been happier. Kim is an AMAZING photographer. Knew exactly how to pose us to get the perfect shots. Turn around time to get the pictures back is phenomenal! We were told 10 days before we would get the contact sheets and it was 10 days and we got all the pictures edited and everything. Highly recommend to anyone looking to have a small, romantic and intimate wedding. Location is beautiful and breath taking. Different packages offered which make it suitable for any budget. They also provide a recommended vendor listing for any of those little details you may still need/want but don't know where to go. I HIGHLY recommend Elope Niagara!!! read more

Elope Niagara is the ideal place to have a small, intimate wedding. The chapel was as beautiful as we had hoped and was absolutely perfect for our cozy winter wedding. This was easily the simplest part of our wedding to arrange. With only a couple phone calls and few emails, everything was set and we didn't have to worry about anything until we arrived on our wedding date. We loved the all-inclusive nature of the wedding package, with the location, officiate and photographer all built in. For a couple that doesn't usually like posing for pictures, I must say that the pictures turned out stunning. Kathy and Kim were able to capture us quickly and naturally and it definitely shows in the photos. We had originally picked a package that included only 15 photos, and ended up purchasing all of the extra photos because they were all so amazing. Thank you so much Kathy and Kim. We had our intimate wedding/elopement at this little log chapel and it was everything we wanted and more!! The owners Kathy & Kim are so friendly, helpful and professional. They always answered any of my questions via email or phone promptly and were very accommodating. We really wanted to be able to capture the moment, since that is how we were going to share our wedding day with family and friends. The pics were fabulous! We have received so many compliments on them :) The chapel also has an option of getting the ceremony videotaped which we decided to do. (Another way to share our special moment with loved ones). We are very impressed with how well the video turned out!! My Mother and her fiance love our pics and video so much, that they have decided to elope here also. My husband and I had our wedding at Elope Niagara and it was just so perfect. We wanted to Elope to Niagara and couldn't really find something modern, and non traditional, then I stumbled upon Elope Niagara's website and fell in love. We started to plan a big wedding at home but it just became too stressful and expensive that we gave up and secretly got married in Niagara. Kathy & Kim were beyond helpful and attentive to our details. I honestly couldn't have asked for anything better. The chapel was cuter and more quaint than I pictured. It even smells like a real log cabin! The day was stress-free and enjoyable. A couple of my girlfriends did the big wedding and it was a nightmare for them, even the day of they were stressed right out. Thank you for a wonderful relaxed service in a beautiful location! Kim and Kathy were great hosts and celebrants, and the photographs they produced were excellent. Coming from the UK, we had some extra paperwork to organise. We used their recommended lawyer and despite time being very short, everything was completed in time with no drama. Our original plan was to get married on the Hornblower, but then we saw some videos. This was a much more romantic option... and we still got to go on the boat later in the day! We booked the drive-through ceremony, with provided witnesses, at this lovely, picturesque little chapel. Kim and Jennifer were both lovely to deal with, more thorough than can be imagined, and made our day everything we wanted, and nothing we didn't want. Kim matched our vibe and lighthearted mood perfectly, and even the paid witnesses were friendly and outgoing.
