He has some slights of hand that somehow my kids aren't realizing they are getting those awful horrifying shots, and after some extensive dental work, my small children still jump and cheer and are super excited when they get to do to the dentist. The office waiting room is like a wonderland with video games and toys in a separate area for the kids, with amenities for adults too like coffee and magazines. Dr. Lamendola and his staff of hygienists and office crew are bar none the best in Ascension! I started out seeing Dr. Whiteside and when she switched practices, I began seeing Dr. Bourgeois. I have some of the worst anxiety about going to the dentist and this place goes out of their way to ensure their patients are comfortable. The environment itself is cool, clean, and calming (nice soothing music playing). You can get a weighted blanket, ear plugs with music playing, and there are TVs in each room to hold your attention elsewhere. Years ago, I remember even being offered paraffin wax treatments for my hands during my appointment! While they haven't offered me that in years, it was amazing and also did a good job of distracting me! I refuse to go elsewhere! If you're not 100% comfortable and 110% pleased with your dentist, scurry on over to Lamendola's and let them pamper you AND your smile!

This was only one of many unpleasant interactions with the office. Their manner in dealing with patients over insurance payments, appointments, etc. is so unhelpful and the information provided is full of mistakes. In addition, my new dentist's front office staff mentioned they have had contentious exchanges over obtaining patient records. I understand someone having a bad day, but this is an ongoing problem in their office. I want to believe the managing dentist is not aware of how some of the front office staff treat patients and . If they were aware, I would think they would provide their personnel with training in customer relations. I will not be back.

I've had wisdom teeth pulled and an after hours case of dry socket he helped with, teeth whitened, a root canal, and a dental implant (outsourced for the implant but Dr. Palmissano handled the temporary and permanent crowns).
