They thought I was silly for continuing going to him but I just wanted to get my service over with and move on. I told him for months that I was ready to get my braces off and that every time I went into the office nothing even happened, most of the time he didn't even come over and look at my teeth. I started to feel like he was just milking each month and went by to get paid. Eventually I got upset and said just take my braces off. My teeth were in great shape when they came off and everything was fine. When I got my retainers which cost over $600, and our basic retainers... Nothing special, one of them broke immediately and I had to take a day off work to go in and have it replaced. To which they did not charge me for the replacement and acted like they were doing me an enormous favor. it's not an enormous favor if I just gave you $700 for some thing that immediately broke. They didn't keep my first mold nor did they keep my second. They claim that they broke. now a year goes by and my retainer has broken again. So I call up and they say that I have to buy all new retainers, but my teeth have moved so now it's just going to keep my teeth as they are now. I have no proof or evidence of how my teeth came out when I first got my braces off. Which is really a bummer because now I have to spend more money to get my teeth fixed all over again. The nurse said that I should've asked for my mold at the time but considering every time I asked any simple question I was shut down, I didn't even think it was an option. when I had my braces removed, a very common service by an orthodontist is for them to shave your teeth down to complete your new smile. I was really excited about that service, so when he took my braces off and was ready to leave the room, I was pretty confused. I had to ask the nurse to grab him so I could ask him if he would do the service for me, to which he comes over and makes a huge deal about how I'm asking too much for what I paid. He starts making these jokes about how I'm difficult to please and how he didn't expect to have to do this much for me. It was really uncomfortable and although I had straight teeth for the first time in my life I was really bummed out after that interaction. I am in fact very easy to please. I was desperate for a straight teeth after years of feeling terrible about myself, I was willing to except the bare minimum because I just wanted the service done. But at the end of it all I felt scammed out of a lot of money I am constantly pushing back the date and which my braces came off, and always felt bummed out by the time I left that office. The staff themselves are very nice but they follow the lead I have a practitioner who really shouldn't be in the business anymore. I hope you don't go spend your money here, you can get a much better service somewhere else and not feel like you spend your money on people who care so little about the experience you had with them.

I have to tell you, I HATE going to the dentist, no less one that specializes in root canals and…read moremore complicated things, but Regine Dyer has given me a new perspective. Sent to her as a referral for extreme sensitivity to everything for a tooth. Dr Dyer examined all the teeth in the area and ultimately found the tooth the dentist thought was the problem was not. X-rays showed a previously sloppy root canal, but nothing that had to be fixed. I left her office with a tube of very strong sensitivity toothpaste and told to use it every day and sleep in it. The goal: control the sensitivity to avoid a root canal. Two follow up visits and continued use of the toothpaste has helped. She advised I have a bite issue which has caused microscopic cracks in the enamel of my teeth causing the sensitivity, and if I really wanted the bite fixed, I could see a prosthodontist. Wow, who knew? My other option is veneers, but she did not push this. And to totally round out this review: On a couple of occasions a hygienist was doing something else for Dr Dyer, but she still proceeded to do the exam without assistance. She's time sensitive and I like it! The staff is very friendly and efficient. Rarely if ever have a waited past my appointment time. The reception area has plenty of comfortable seating and light. You do have to pay up front for the scheduled service, and added services are billed to your insurance or whatever your situation is. What are they doing on day 5? Maybe they do not have many clientele or maybe the lack of clientele is due to the cost of their services? 2. Only see Dr. Schwartz (they have 2 other dentists there) and he is a nice guy, but he doesn't arrive to work on time thus causing patients to wait longer than average. For example, if you make an appointment for 8 am and arrive on a few minutes earlier out of courtesy, he doesn't arrive until AFTER 8 am (I know this because I overheard his assistants yell out to one another, "The doctor just arrived," and this was around 8:10 am). So you might as well arrive exactly at 8 am or possibly later. On top of this, installing a crown should not take 1.5 hours, but because he is such a "perfectionists" according to his assistants, you will have to wait...and wait...and wait. By the way, the crown he installed caused tooth sensitivity on a nearby tooth and he still could not resolve it after 2 visits so I'm basically just waiting it out until it gets unbearable. 3. Celeste Armstrong, the upbeat office manager appears friendly, but will use her demeanor to cover-up what her intentions truly are. For example, you request copies of your x-rays to be mailed to you and she immediately states their clinic can not email them because they do not have the technology to do so. OK, that's odd...so you tell her you need your x-rays still. She states she can mail them out. I told her ok great and confirm the mailing address with her. 2 weeks later, still no copies of x-rays so I ask her again and she states she did mail them out. Another 2 weeks past by and still no x-rays so I send her an email requesting the x-rays again and by law, her clinic is required to give copies of clients' x-rays. Here is her response, "I'm so so sorry. There must have been a misunderstanding. I thought we were going to wait for your insurance company to respond before we were going to mail out your x-rays." It's like, what in the world is going on here?!? There was no miscommunication. You just simply LIED and did not mail out my x-rays for whatever reason. Here's another funny story, she will inform you your insurance company will partially cover your procedure, but 3 months later, the insurance company states otherwise. So basically, you end up paying everything out of pocket and she doesn't tell you until you continue to ask about reimbursement. Very unethical woman (with a deceiving personality) and I did make sure to tell her this. 4. The clinic's rates are significantly higher than other clinics, but the service and outcomes does not dignify this practice. They overcharge their clients simple as that. Also, a basic teeth cleaning is not fully covered under any insurance because they overbill the insurance companies so you end up have to pay a portion of the bill still. Overall, I would highly NOT recommend this dental clinic due to their unethical practices, expensive rates, and average outcome.
