Consistent food on my weekly trip. I love the breakfast and it's so much it's enough for lunch. The staff is courteous and always remembers you. One of the few diners that have Italian sausage and fry it right. Thanks Thanks

Doesn't look appetizing spread on a big plate but it was really good. Need some baskets!

Stopped coming here quite a few years back. Had some rough meals. I THINK its a new owner. Setting is your typical NJ diner. Being in Elmer the clientele is interesting. Just some good ol' S Jersey country folk I got the Honey Dipped chicken. The pieces were very small. I couldn't tell what was the wing and what was the drumstick. It was plated on a regular size plate with small pieces if lettuce or something scattered as a garnish. Looked ridiculous. My little wing was dry but the rest was delicious. My crab soup was very good for a diner and had real crabmeat. Coleslaw had too much mayo and my corn was pale and mushy but I was full anyway. My wife got the chicken bruschetta special. She enjoyed it and the portion was huge. Had a nice size salad as well. Chocolate pudding and whip cream for desert as it came with her meal. Yum. Our server was very pleasant. Id gone 4 stars if the sides were good and the chicken bigger.

I ordered the classic cheesesteak, Boston clam chowder, and ice cream . My dad got the chicken grinder lunch special with sweet potato fries, the crab soup, and bread pudding. My dad is still talking about that lunch! He loved it. Best sweet potato fries I've ever had. I would definitely order those again with any meal! My dad's soup was a little thick for me. I didn't taste his grinder but he said it was good. I ordered my sandwich with extra lettuce and had to ask for more; it came right away. I only was able to eat half and ate the other half later. Delicious! My soup was tasty. I also got the chocolate and strawberry ice cream. Strawberry had lots of fruit in it. They didn't have any toppings. It was Yummy! Kay,our waitress, greeted me as soon as I arrived. I ordered coffee and she said it was brewing. She remembered it as soon as it was done. She took great care of us despite the crowd. Everything was delicious. The amount of food was enough for several more meals afterward. The menu reads like a small novel it is so big. This is a classic diner.

Nice local diner with friendly service. Typical diner food that is reasonably priced. We went on a Sunday afternoon and there was no wait. The patio was a tad warmer then I like in a restaurant. The restaurant was clean and the portion size was enough for two. If you find yourself in the small town of Elmer stop by for a bite to eat,

Ordered a Roma omelette, a meat omelette, and a seafood pasta dish. These portions are absolutely enormous! Unbelievable. The prices are being reasonable for the quantity and quality. Everything was delicious. Omelettes came with home fries and toast. Also got a side of scrapple and a side of sausage gravy. The seafood was delicious as well. Do not leave without grabbing dessert. I repeat, DO NOT leave without dessert. We got 4 pieces of cakes to go - carrot, tiramisu, peanut butter, and strawberry shortcake. All are made by a local bakery and all are fabulous. We blacked out when picking. The serving size is ginormous- like wow!! Good thing we don't live near here. The desserts alone are worth the trip here. Nobody does this anymore offering separate checks. Emphasis is placed on making the customer happy.

There was no direction of whether to order at the counter or be seated. Hubby ordered a salad that he asked for with chicken but when it came out about 45 minutes later, there was no chicken. I ordered a salad and a mini hamburger- it was advertised on a Kaiser roll, but came out on two slices of bread. When I ordered it, I asked for it medium rare, but it was well done when it finally appeared. Disappointing. The food tasted fine although my hubby's chicken tasted like charcoal. About a half hour after waiting, the people next to us were told there was no roast beef. They adjusted their order and got their food before us, although we ordered before them. A bit strange. While I was waiting for our food, I walked inside to see what kind of things were for sale. They had balsamic vinegar and olive oil which were nice. The vinaigrette was really good and we were told they used the balsamic from it. However, on the shelves in the back, there was a cruddy jar of something that no one would buy. I picked it up not realizing it but put it back. I am adding a picture of the flowers. They were very nice. They should put some work into fixing the signs around that were peeling.

This was a really great spot. My coworker and I were over in North Jersey for work but flew in and out of PHL rather than facing Newark. In order to beat the crazy construction traffic outside of Philly and to have a buffer for whatever TSA nightmare we were going to face, we got back near the airport early... like 4 1/2 hours before our flight kind of early. I wanted breakfast outside of the airport so I found this spot while he was refilling the rental car. I got the French toast with homefries. The french toast was perfect, with just a tiny bit of crisp in spot from the griddle. Same with the homefries. I would have liked a bit more seasoning while they were cooking, but a bit of salt and pepper and I was good to go. My coworker got the big breakfast but subbed out the homefries for corned beef hash. While I'm not a fan of corned beef hash, it looked exactly like how my mom and grandfather like it, with a little bit of crisp to it. The pancake was huge and he said his over medium eggs were cooked exactly like he hoped they would be. Now I just need to plan out my flights so I can come get breakfast here again and try one of the sandwiches, or omelettes, or maybe get French toast again...

Today was no exception. Their grilled chicken sandwich was not what I hoped for. On the plus side, it was a generous portion of chicken, most of which I took home. As a negative -- at least for me -- I like a flat filet, with grill marks. This was "chunky," rendering it clumsy to eat. It simply didn't taste grilled at all. And the chicken was dry. T ordered a country omelet that was filled with breakfast meats, cheddar and peppers. Though not my thing, I agreed it was pretty good. His grits were creamy, buttery and delicious. Coffee is strong and served in the old-fashioned heavy mugs that I favor. Our server was friendly. ("Where are you from?" she asked, picking up on my Brooklyn accent.) I asked if Greek lemon soup is ever on the menu. She said that the owners are Turkish, then gave me a rundown of their specialties, all of which sound delish. (Alas, no avgolemono.) I wouldn't hesitate to return to Folcroft. The menu is diverse, the restaurant is clean -- as pointed out by another Yelper AND our waitress. If you order the right thing, you'll no doubt be pleased.
